great sandwich. being a diabetic i should be staying away from bread but i just had to get this place a try after all the good things i have heard.
i gave their chicken caesar sandwich and try and loved it. i would have to say that it was hands down the best sandwich i have ever had. the kick from the jalapenos in the bread was a great added touch. the buttermilk brine really came through in the chicken and greatly enhanced it's flavor.
for a location that is so well hidden it was surprisingly busy. the next time i give in to my cravings for bread i will most definitely be coming back here to satisfy it.

awesome! truly the best eggs benny in canada. baked goods are amazing too. very generous serving of heavenly bread pudding. can't say enough good things about art is in bakery.

we purposely went on a sunday to try their weekly brunch menu and it was amazing.

fantastic breads and sweet treats. i stopped in with friends for a quick lunch and loved my grilled cheese with pear sandwich. the patio ambiance is lacking but the food and the folks who you are likely with will more than make up for it.

bow down to this bakery. birthday celebration with art-is-in bakery. tried a couple of the sandwiches, the bread, and cold hot chocolate. owner offered watermelon as we walked in with scones pieces for sampling.

amazing ! don't miss it. just amazing! we visit ottawa every few months for work. we discovered aib at the orleans market (fridays).... we just got addicted. the almond/chocolate croissants are the best (better than french bakery).
sandwiches are fantastic. it's a shame "chicken curry" is not in the menu anymore :(

this place is fantastic i it work any penny. we will see how sunday's brunch is......

love their bread. full of flavor and never disappointing. my go to for loaves.

great sandwiches.. the sandwiches are like the ones you would find at a café in qubec city.the bread and dressing are the best quality and homemade.great service, parking can be annoying.

amazing!. i very much enjoyed coming here. i have been here twice now and cannot rave enough about the perfection that is the bread. the sandwiches are amazing. i have gotten the tuna melt, and the chicken caesar, both which were very filling and full of flavour. my boyfriend got the tandoori chicken and it has such interesting flavours in it, i can't believe that it is a sandwich! the owner is the nicest man who will take time to come over and talk to you and make sure you are enjoying your time 100%. it is definitely hard to find, but once you do you will never want to stop going back. it is located in the parking lot of a warehouse but the atmosphere on the inside is a very pleasant, cafe-feel. will definitely continue to go back. oh and did i mention the desserts are to die for? try the lemon tart! never thought i even like lemon tarts until i had this one. amazing!

my boyfriend and i drove from montreal just to try their food. we left with six loafs and a cookie. we weren't even out the door and we were planning to come back!

damn!! this place keeps getting better and better, blows me away every time. sandwiches are amazing! espresso is probably the best you will find in the city and chocolate almond croissant might just be the best thing i've ever eaten.

a humble bakery on roids... i got one thought for you.. dynamite.

first impression, not the most accessible place in the world but the search for it was worth it. easily one of the city's best hidden jems, when i say hidden that is an understatement. located in the industrial park near bayview station..

what i devoured..
1. lobster on a roll - sweet lobster that wasn't overpowered by sauce. roll was on the dry side and i was expecting a larger sandwich for $12. may be my expectations are too high? hmmm.

2. holy bread.. cheddar, jalapeno! and chive bread. not for the low card diet, but for every happy carb devouring human it was heaven.

3. trio chocolate and almond cookie.. 30 percent cookie 70 percent chocolate and almond a ratio every cookie should strive for.

btw 1/2 off all bread an hour before close.

delish!. excellent food, excellent variety!
only complaint is the store hours are not on the website, and when you call, the message on the machine tells you to call back during business hours. it doesn't give you the hours though! some of us wanted to meet there for 11am breaky on sunday. they open at 10am on sunday, but only serve breakfast until 11! mentioned it to the girl serving us - she told us to check facebook. it's not there either - just as a check-in site : /
great place to stop by to pick up bread, safe to say go around noon - it's open then.
