ridiculous. if you enjoy your meat slightly raw, your hot chocolate served out of a container labeled "duck fat" or are looking for a place to sip your latte while breastfeeding your baby, you will love art is in bakery.
this filthy warehouse location has overpriced food which continues to rise with popularity, a chaotic atmosphere with terrible acoustics, cinder block walls and tattered benches, if you like to dine with strangers, you will love it!
the menu is confusing and always
changing. it is broken up in to categories such as "sandwiches" and "not sandwiches", yet sandwiches are in fact, listed in the " not sandwiches" section. alot of thier items are not available. you might order something and sit down, just to have a busy and flustered employee come out and tell you that what you ordered is not actually available and you need to choose something else. (it also takes about 20 minutes for a sandwich). it may also be agoodidea to bring your own cutlery and takeout tupperware, or a water bottle to fill yourself. menu items may double in price or jump from around $7.00 to $12.95 as soon as it starts to become popular...
on the brighter side, the bread is amazing and baked fresh daily, as well as the pastries and they usually have a huge variety. you could easily walk in and order a couple dozen pastries and some other baked goods. everything is reallygoodquality.
if i were you, i'd check it out as they do have a lot to offer, but don't expect a place to relax as people will be bumping into your chair, and you will be asked to leave 15 minutes after you finish your food and you may not receive all of your order. also, you might get a parking ticket. oh, and don't expect great service..or any service really....check it out
