a delicious experience. my partner and i learned of art is in after dining at the wellington gastropub, where they were serving their bread that particular evening. after reading the universal praise in the reviews, we decided to check it out. we weren't even out the door when we were planning our next visit.
the lunch sandwiches we had were hearty, filling, and delicious. it's hard to describe how incredibly the flavours were layered in both of our sandwiches. the bread, of course, was fabulous, but the experience was so good, we had some dessert, too! the nuts and chocolate pastry was divine, but the real home run was their bread pudding - absolutely delicious! the server was concerned that we were getting the final piece of bread pudding for the day and that it might not be as good as usual - despite the fact that it was incredible, she gave us a voucher for a free one on our next visit anyway. this token was greatly appreciated and demonstrates just how particular and proud they are over the quality of the food they are serving. incredible!
i enjoyed the atmosphere, very laid back, allowing the food to simply speak for itself. there's no need for foufou pretentious mason jar chandeliers when you have food that rocks the socks off of the people enjoying it. i would, hands down, recommend this place to anyone, and i can't wait to return for more visits in future to introduce as many friends as i can to this phenomenal gem. so happy to have found it!
