had lunch with the boss. if you’re a fan of authentic japanese ramen this place is the bomb! ordered shio and t’was soo good! super friendly staffs! you better know how to use chop sticks because they don’t give out forks or spoons there. their reason? they want to preserve the authenticity of eating authentic ramen with only just chop sticks. fair enough.

had the dipping ramen series this time and it wasn't as savory and flavorful as the rest. i usually come here and it's a big line, but fortunately this time wasn't so bad, i dont mind paying the high price but i wouldn't recommend anything else but the regular shoyu series. anyways, since there were less people the food still took a while to get...gyoza took around 15mins which is ok, but the fried chicken took around 40mins...

i’ve always been an ippudo fan. but when i moved to the south for work, i needed a place to address my ramen cravings. thankfully, i discovered ramen yushoken, as recommended by my workmates. and the place did not disappoint! the food here is great! perfectly cooked noodles, rich broth, and a healthy portion of ramen toppings. i’ll be coming back for more ramen bowls!

looking for the best ramen in alabang? ramen yushoken would definitely top the list. place is always jam- packed but it’s absolutely worth the wait. their shiyo ramen is just sooo perfect. 👌🏻

i've had ramen from japan so i have pretty high standards when it comes to the dish. there aren't many ramen shops in cebu that make a decent ramen. so it's a lil exciting for cebuanos when they come across one. yushoken is one of the few places that offer decent ramen. the place has a decent amount of tables, but expect to wait for seating at peak hours. yushoken is widely known in cebu as the best ramen shop, and this isn't really something i can argue against. but then again, there's also not a lot of competition. i got to try their tantanmen and shoyu. i had nothing i could think of to better their broth, and the noodles were cooked just right. the dishes just lacked the complexity that i expected based on the price. you even had to pay an extra 80 pesos in order to have an egg in your ramen. something that should've been included in the first place. but the ramen themselves tasted great and i would agree that they have the best in cebu. in my ratings though, i take into account the price. in this case, yushoken gets one star off because i would say that it wasn't worth the prices.

japanese dining need not to be so far. one of the place to dine is ramen yushoken. i like the convenience of it being near the office to satisfy my ramen cravings. every delicacy is worth it's price.

best ramen in the philippines for me. from what i know, they make everything there on the day itself thus you get really fresh ingredients everytime. the noodles are filling, and the broth is really thick. if you want the best ramen in the philippines, this is where you should go to.

great ramen! honestly had set my standards for ramen. chashu is amazing as well, and i can’t practically finish the extra chashu myself but i keep ordering it each time. gyoza was good too. they don’t allow take-out of the ramen or gyoza, but they did allow the leftover chashu be taken home with warning that it will get salty. will always come back here!

their ramens are really the best! an unforgettable taste! one of my personal favorites is the "shoyu ramen" also, their staff are all polite and nice.

huge fan of yushoken/mendokoro.

food quality is also consistent every visit.

i order the chicken karaage and chahan almost every visit because mendokoro branches do not offer those!

for the ramen, super chashu + tamago with a side of gyoza 👌🏽

ambience is okay.

tip: they have tables here. the bar area is a bit cramped so opt for a table.

best ramen in cebu so far! it's pricey, but worth it. the place is small and they usually get crowded, so we went there on a weekday, days before payday but there was still a queue. anyways, food is really good! side dishes were reasonably priced and very good as well. will def come back 😊❤
