i will be in the minority here, but this is my least favorite ramenplacein the area. it's good, but it just doesn't inspire me. i also can't stand the fact that they discourage sharing, not everyone has the appetite of a cow and i don't like wasting food. it's always full so i guess that means something...

the broth is what sets thisplaceapart from the other ramen places. it's thick (almost lomi-like) and flavorful and the balance between the noodles and veggies are just right to feed one hungry diner. i must admit when they served me the bowl i thought i needed to order 2 bowls but after finishing a bowl. i was so full i couldn't drive.
definitely worth every peso

one of the best ramen restaurants in the south. this is theplacei'd go back to if i'm craving great-quality ramen.

we ordered tantanmen and shoyu, which were both delicious. tantanmen has a strong spicy peanut flavor. shoyu is equally good with smoky flavored pork slices.

serving for a ramen is just enough size for one person.

gyoza was soft, tasty and a must-try as well.

service in this branch is good.

ramens are abt p400 each. budget for 1 person is 500-700.

living in japan for 5 years and coming back in the philippines, ive been searching for a really good ramenplacehere. its nice having yushoken in the south!! i ordered the shoyu tonkotsu ramen with aji tamago. id rate it 9/10 compared to the ramen that i always eat in japan! the soup was thick and very tasteful almost perfectly the same from the one in japan. *please note that there are hundreds of different ramen in japan!! depending on what city or region you are in. the chashu is grilled to perfection which i loooove so much!! thats a 10/10 for the chashu. the aji tamago was a bit too salty for my taste but it was cooked really well. the noodles are a 10/10 for me. the serving is just right. like a regular size serving in japan. price is just right.

we also ordered gyoza. it was good. 8/10.
we also tried the chahan. 8/10.

overall it was a really good dinner. it was worth the price. will surely come back here.

ps. this is my top1 ramen in the metro!! and ive tried tons of ramen places since i got back in 2016.

i've known ramen joint since 2015. i am a filipino expat so whenever i visit places - it has to give me an experience that i would love to recommend to friends and family. i have brought a number of family members and friends in thisplace- thanks to the recommendation of my brother who introduce me to yushoken. btw, they are very consistent from service to food. this smallplacenever run out of customers and they will wait no matter how long it it take them to stay outside or inside to get a table. i am one of them.

theplacelooks amazing. love all the wood and contemporary lighting.

service was good. the staff was attentive and brought our orders immediately.

we got the shio ramen with aji tamago. it was so delicious! noodles were still al dente. meat had nice grill marks on it and was tender and so tasty. broth was piping hot and you can taste the flavor of the pork.

would definitely come back if i have a craving. best ramen in cebu that ive tasted so far!

came here on a weekday and theplacewas packed! you know how good and authentic thisplaceis when majority of customers queing and dining are japanese, ordered the shio ramen which is worth every dime, the broth is super rich, the noodles are done perfectly then topped with the best tasting chashu pork ever, everything is a symphony!

staffs are accomodating and well knowledgeable, must say it's worth the queue!

the ramen tastes good. out of all the ramen houses i ate at, thisplacehas the firmest noodles and thickest broth. the chashu and the tamago, also, did not disappoint. the gyoza tastes like normal gyoza. my sister says it's better tho. the servers are also very nice.

4.5 because there are cheaper options. but if it's quality ramen you want, then mendokoro in makati and yushoken in alabang are theplaceto go. 😊

by far the best ramen house in cebu. their ramen broth is is so rich and yummy. karaage is tender and juicy. gyoza is tasty. the shoyu ramen is the bomb! i love their customer service. if you dont know how to use chopstick, bring your own eating utensil as they don’t provide spoon and fork. the only thing i hate is the waiting time before you get to dine because theplaceis always packed. but the food is oh-so worth the wait.

ramen yushoken never fails to to give me a great ramen experience.

despite the restaurant always being packed, the food and the service has been consistently great for me every time i visited the restaurant. the ramen is hearty and flavorful whether you're going for a clean light taste (shoyu ramen) or a spicier alternative (tantanmen ramen). for the perfect side, i'd recommend karaage and gyoza. there's no crazy twist to these dishes as they stay true to its traditional taste, yet there's something about it that just goes perfectly well with the creamy broth of the ramen options.

when it comes to the ambiance, everything is quite simple - nothing too glamorous about the restaurant. i've seen more exquisite looking ramen joints. but, its best not to be tricked by its exterior as its dishes is what really provides its wow factor.

also, always expect a long queue. i have visited on weekends and the wait can up to about 2 hours. but, if there's one thing i've learned when it comes to yushoken, it's that patience is key! the wait will be quite long but it's definitely worth it.

i'm from the south and i'll never tire from telling all my friends from the north that yushoken is definitely theplaceto hit up when they're in the area. overall, a 10/10 dining experience from me!

we had our sunday dinner here and as expected theplacewas full, so we had our name on the wait list before we were able to dine in. i got their miso ramen (php440) with aji tamago (php80) which was fine. the pork cubes on my ramen were a little bit salty for my taste, but overall experience with their food and service was good.
