thebrothis what sets this place apart from the other ramen places. it's thick (almost lomi-like) and flavorful and the balance between the noodles and veggies are just right to feed one hungry diner. i must admit when they served me the bowl i thought i needed to order 2 bowls but after finishing a bowl. i was so full i couldn't drive.
definitely worth every peso

the place looks amazing. love all the wood and contemporary lighting.

service was good. the staff was attentive and brought our orders immediately.

we got the shio ramen with aji tamago. it was so delicious! noodles were still al dente. meat had nice grill marks on it and was tender and so tasty.brothwas piping hot and you can taste the flavor of the pork.

would definitely come back if i have a craving. best ramen in cebu that ive tasted so far!

came here on a weekday and the place was packed! you know how good and authentic this place is when majority of customers queing and dining are japanese, ordered the shio ramen which is worth every dime, thebrothis super rich, the noodles are done perfectly then topped with the best tasting chashu pork ever, everything is a symphony!

staffs are accomodating and well knowledgeable, must say it's worth the queue!

by far the best ramen house in cebu. their ramenbrothis is so rich and yummy. karaage is tender and juicy. gyoza is tasty. the shoyu ramen is the bomb! i love their customer service. if you dont know how to use chopstick, bring your own eating utensil as they don’t provide spoon and fork. the only thing i hate is the waiting time before you get to dine because the place is always packed. but the food is oh-so worth the wait.

ramen yushoken never fails to to give me a great ramen experience.

despite the restaurant always being packed, the food and the service has been consistently great for me every time i visited the restaurant. the ramen is hearty and flavorful whether you're going for a clean light taste (shoyu ramen) or a spicier alternative (tantanmen ramen). for the perfect side, i'd recommend karaage and gyoza. there's no crazy twist to these dishes as they stay true to its traditional taste, yet there's something about it that just goes perfectly well with the creamybrothof the ramen options.

when it comes to the ambiance, everything is quite simple - nothing too glamorous about the restaurant. i've seen more exquisite looking ramen joints. but, its best not to be tricked by its exterior as its dishes is what really provides its wow factor.

also, always expect a long queue. i have visited on weekends and the wait can up to about 2 hours. but, if there's one thing i've learned when it comes to yushoken, it's that patience is key! the wait will be quite long but it's definitely worth it.

i'm from the south and i'll never tire from telling all my friends from the north that yushoken is definitely the place to hit up when they're in the area. overall, a 10/10 dining experience from me!

shoyu
this is the best ramen in manila for me, just cause i’m really the type to love umami. i find it even better than ichiran in japan! thebrothis so rich, the meat slab serving is generous enough, and the proportion of noodles to soup is just right. i recommend you order it with their gyoza, it’s a match made in heaven i tell you!!! you’ll just feel so full after but it’s hella worth the calories... and sodium lol

the price is alright; i’m still a student but i’d always be willing to spend that much for a bowl of goodness but i feel like it’s not the type you’d be willing to spend for everyday.

ambiance is also fine, nothing special but expect a line on meal time hours like lunch or dinner. but just a tip, yushoken and mendokoro are sister companies and serve the same stuff but yushoken can accommodate more people so it might be worth the drive to the south if you don’t want to wait too long.

this is the first time we dined out after 4 months and we were impressed by how the restaurant implements health protocols. :) as for the food, thebrothwas so thick and tasty! we ordered shio and tantanmen. we loved their in-house chili paste to make thebrotha little more spicy. the chashu (broiled pork belly) that came with the shio was so soft and tasty too. also ordered karaage. while it was good, we were kind of full with the ramen already so maybe next time we’ll eat it first to appreciate better.

best ramen for me in the south! get the best of both worlds - noodles and soup. with its cremybrothand delicious noodles, every bite of your ramen will leave you in a food coma! enjoy the food on their menu or if looking for something different, try the food on their secret menu! have the full ramen experience seated either at the bar or in a booth. my personal favorites are: ebi shio and gyoza! try them now!

we ordered their “secret menu” which is the super chasu that is not included in their menu, you must order it personally and i must say, it is all worth it (money-wise and long lines). thebrothwas superb and delicious plus the super sized chasu that is so thick that it looks like you’re eating a steak. it is so tasty and i almost unable to finish it because the ramen is heavy. the only cons in what we ordered is that the noodles is thick and not that tasty unlike with other ramen house. our other ordered food was gyoza that i can say one of the best since the taste is more like authentic with more veggies than meat and the flavor is well balanced. we got their at around 10:45 am and there’s already a line, though, we’re number 2. but after a few minutes, the line gets longer. but, the waiting is all worth it! the place is decent, clean and well air-conditioned though it the restaurant is not that big. my advice is try to go there a little bit earlier and be ready with the long line in case. you can a-lot a budget of at least 1,500 php since the super chasu is like 500+ php. overall, we’ll surely go back here, one of the best ramen house in manila!

been to different ramen places all my life and this place, in my opinion, has the best ramen i’ve ever tasted. the noodles are very well textured, thebrothis excellent and the grilled tonkutsu and aji tamago toping melts in my mouth like butter! the gyoza is one of the best, if not the best i’ve tasted. this place is kind of addicting you always see me line-up almost every week.

if you want an authentic ramen experience in cebu, this is the place to be. yushoken ramen is thick, flavorful, and hearty. while a little bit more on the expensive side (around 400+ for each ramen and 200-300 for their sides) its a meal you go to to make yourself feel like a king.

thebrothis thick, full of fatty and pork flavors with some dashi and other spices all mixed into one soupy goodness. the noodles are thick, with a bite and mouthfeel that feels so satisfying. the chashu is marinated, soft, almost melting with flavor.

the sides too are a must get. the karaage is deliciously juicy, the gyoza are to die for, and the chahan an experience unto itself. get at least 1 to try it out. i personally prefer the gyoza as it feels like a more contrasting flavor to the meaty taste of the ramen broth.
