worthy of the hype. and now that mendokoro is across the street, i think the line isn't as long anymore!

let's start with:

staff:
they have a really friendly staff that will greet you the moment you enter and leave the establishment, attentive and always there to cater your other needs.

place:
chill and relaxing :d

food:
we ordred the shoyu ramen that has a very very rich soup (so for light eaters, be prepared 😂), karaage and gyoza that are rich in flavor aswell.

we were quickly seated and accommodated upon arrival. the waiter patiently suggested their best sellers and waited for our orders. their ramen is indeed flavorful but i personally think you can still find a good ramen place for a better price. if you wanna go to a sophisticated place then try this resto.

the most unforgettable ramen as it was my first ramen ever. i have never forgotten this and wish i could come visit again. sadly, i live too far away.

the place was mostly jam-packed on a weekend lunch time. the average waiting time was around 1 hour on our experience. i personally love the chahan rice 😍😍 the ramen broth was very tasty as well

great ramen. ramen choices i believe aren't available elsewhere. though i'm hoping for more choices of sidings and appetizers. the place is always full and waiting customers

if you want an authentic ramen experience in cebu, this is the place to be. yushoken ramen is thick, flavorful, and hearty. while a little bit more on the expensive side (around 400+ for each ramen and 200-300 for their sides) its a meal you go to to make yourself feel like a king.

the broth is thick, full of fatty and pork flavors with some dashi and other spices all mixed into one soupy goodness. the noodles are thick, with a bite and mouthfeel that feels so satisfying. the chashu is marinated, soft, almost melting with flavor.

the sides too are a must get. the karaage is deliciously juicy, the gyoza are to die for, and the chahan an experience unto itself. get at least 1 to try it out. i personally prefer the gyoza as it feels like a more contrasting flavor to the meaty taste of the ramen broth.

the first time i went to yushoken, i ordered their classic ramen. it was by far the best ramen i have tasted. the broth was so rich, you'd actually need to eat or drink something cool or sweet to cut down the savoriness. i also ordered their chicken karage which was very tender and not overly-fried. definitely worth your money for the quality of food you get.

easily the best tsukemen in the philippines and arguably the best ramen house too! even in japan it’s not easy to find ramen, gyoza and tamago as good as this. a true blessing in spite of the ridiculous lines

i'm not really a ramen person but my gf loves ramen. of all the ramen i have tasted, i would recommend this place to you ramen-seekers out there. their food is nicely prepared and colorful as you can see below. p.s. they have the best gyoza i've ever tasted.

lining up here this season is crazy but the long wait is worth it. we had our names listed at 7:30pm and went inside at 8:45pm.

we got our shio (the milky ramen that has a lighter taste) and shoyu (stronger flavor from black garlic bits, garlic oil and sesame seeds) sided with the aji tamago (flavorful eggs) to match with our ramen – with an order of gyoza. we ordered our gyoza late so it came minutes after we finished our ramen. we were so full but managed to savor it because there are no take outs allowed.

they have similar taste with mendokoro ramenba, which opened their branch in front of their resto, but its a different ambiance. yushoken is great for families having fellowship because they have a typical table setup of a restaurant and a bar for those who wants to see how they prepare the food.

highly recommended!! worth the money and time. budget is 500 per head and its best to get one ramen each. ❤

a ramen staple in alabang. the tantanmen is to die for, the super chashu had scrumptious pork pieces, and the flavor of both dishes mixes well with the meat. serving time is commendable and the service was quick–you can’t finish a glass of water because they fill it up immediately! would certainly come back again.

best ramen place by far!! i ordered the miso soup which was around 440php (kinda forgot) but it was all worth every sip i could get from that creamy broth and let's not forget to mention how juicy and tender their pork cubes were on that pile with the ramen egg to top it all off. the place has no reservation list so you need to line up and trust me, it was worth it and the place has a no take-out policy either so don't over order and just enjoy your bowl of ramen ❤️

best ramen i've tasted. i wish the place could get bigger since it's such a hit and it only has one branch for the southies. also hoping to be a zomato gold partner
