never failed to serve be the best ramen! this is the best thing to eat on such a tiring and stressful day.

though we arrived there at a waitin line, the moment we were called and seated, our orders arrived immediately. the serving was fast.

their gyoza were as great as it is was.

we've tried their shio, shoyu, tantan-men, tonkotsu tsukemen, chahan, gyoza, and karaage, and we find all of them yummy. our favorites/usual orders are their shoyu, tantan-men, chahan, and karaage. aside from their great tasting food, another thing that we love about this restaurant is that their staff's always nice and accommodating. yay

the best ramen! my husband and i have tried so many ramen places and nothing beats yushoken. must try: off-menu secret (no so secret anymore) ramen - super chashu ramen. rich broth, super yummy meat and freshly-made noodles - my ultimate comfort food, truly a hug-in-a-bowl. their shio, shoyu, tantanmen, tsukemen, gyoza and chicken karaage are really good too.

they serve good ramen. the food tastes very good especially their karaage. the place makes you feel like you are in japan and what i like the most is that they are open 'til 11pm.

it is hard to go wrong when you choose to dine in here. food is japanese and yet it has grown so accustomed to southerners giving off a homegrown vibe like a basic comfort food. patience to be seated but if you come on off peak hours it is not a problem. gyoza and shoyu is always a fave to order every time we visit. it keeps us coming back at least once every month. fast, attentive, and accommodating wait staff. glad they now accept cards.

from simple interior to very delicious ramen. so far the best ramen house in town. the soup is so rich in flavor, the noodles are nicely cooked, also there's really a lot of meat in the soup. 1 ramen which surely make you full. the price is quite expensive but it's worth it.

ramen has become a craze and the rainy season presented the right timing making the craze legit. so, the trend is to find the best place but for me, it's just a matter of enjoying what each ramen house has to offer. blogs that i've read here and there said that ukokei is the best of all but i haven't had the chance to visit.

just arrived from japan and i missed eating ramen already. so i told my hubby about it and he said to find one near airport. that time was heavy traffic, so decided to find one on our way home. the place was not big and they dont have much on their menu. i tried tantan-men. i am not a big fan of a spicy food but this one nailed it. not that hot an spicy. just right for me. we also tried their gyoza and karaage. shoyu was also good.. definitely i'll come back to try their tantan-men.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

whenever i wind up in alabang (which is pretty much every week), ramen yushoken is top of my list to in terms of satisfying my ramen cravings (or any craving at that). tantanmen is my forever love. made a mistake by ordering their shoyu/miso (can't remember) once and i regret it. somehow the pungent mushroom smell and taste didn't work for me. gyoza is yummy. all in all worth every penny.

started eating at yushoken a couple of years back, when they first opened (but after the long lines dissipated). i was in awe of their rules of no take-aways, no ordering for someone else who's not yet there (to preserve the quality of the food). it was the first time i actually had legit ramen!
definitely my favorite ramen place e-v-e-r! the perfect comfort food for me! i've already tried all their ramen (except for the tsukemen), and i'm hooked! i've never looked at ramen the same way. i'd always end up comparing ramen places to yushoken.

their gyoza is one of the best i've ever tried. even if i compare it with the other gyozas i've tried elsewhere, i keep coming back for this one. right amount of soft and chewy, and the filling!

on the hot, humid days, i cool off with yushoken's hiyashi chuka. great way to cool down! it's light on the taste buds but hits you at the right spot! (read: busog!)  on cold, rainy days, i get the shoyu ramen to warm me up. perfect soul food!

definitely coming back for more and more and more...

just wow. the ramen here is sooooo good! the best one was the seafood ramen which my boyfriend had. i'm very picky when it comes to ramen so dining at this place was a great experience for me. i love how the staff immediately greets you with warm smiles and their service is pretty good, too. while waiting for our food, me and my boyfriend had fun reviewing their menu because of its light-hearted humor. you just have to check this place out and go ahead as you satisfy your love for ramen!

tantanmen by yushoken. still the best ramen in the metro! will never get tired of eating this, rain or shine. there's always a queue here but turnover of seats is pretty quick.

this place brings me back to my summer trips in japan. when you badly need a ramen fix (especially in this upcoming rainy season), a piping hot shoyu ramen will just do the trick. so far, of all the ramen houses i've been to in cebu, they also have the best short orders. i always order their gyoza (the filling is really generous) and their karaage, drizzled with some salt and lemon juice and dipped in some kewpie japanese mayonnaise (a must!) ... on top of an indulgent menu, service is spot on! they carry well the japanese hospitality and courtesy to every table.

hefty serving of tasty ramen. but i was surprised to find their gyoza super duper tasty. i've never had a gyoza that's so good, i swear. and i'm not a gyoza kinda girl!

we had ramen, gyoza and karage! all food that we've ordered were delicious and the serving sizes were huge. it is also well priced for the quality of food, serving size and service from the crew. :)
