we were craving for some good briyani spot!! and al maza featured in brilliant briyani was our pick!!

been here about 4 years back ,,but still they keep up their standard in taste and service!!

the ambience is subtle, simple attractive and cozy too!! the wall decor made in golden hue was adorning!!loved the service which is prompt and impeccable ,, they were courteous and friendly!!kudos to the team!

we had a complimentary butter milk drink, with pappad and three dips which includes pineapple,mint and tomato sauce,, which was perfect to go with the pappad and appetizers!! butter milk gave a refreshing start:)

we started with murg malai kebab,, wow the best one i had ,, creamy, juicy and tender couldn't resist our selves, we guzzled in no time 😋 then came our tandoori,, was good , marinated and cooked with perfect blend of masalas!

their signature dish,briyani was good mildly spiced with long grains perfectly cooked in the masalas!! loved it!! but was missing in some flavours which i tried before 4 years!!!

they suggested ra ra murg with wheat paratha ,,it's kinda gravy made with minced chicken and scrambled egg and served with sliced egg,,perfect to go with paratha

dessert part we opted for shahi thukda ,,liked the bread which is cooked in ghee and soaked inside a malai base,, decilious and lip smacking!!

mini falooda, best one i have ever tasted with three layers of ice creams topped with nuts,,when u scoop out there comes the ice creams with nuts, fruits, and sweet sause ,,was lingering in my palate!! omg it was amazing and finger licking!!best way to end our meal!!

and thanq for greeting my kid and letting him a little venture into the kitchen with a complimentary scoop of chocolate ice creams!

al maza is one of the hidden gem for briyani, tucked away in the silent streets of anna nagar,, which will never disappoint you!!

its been almost 2 yrs since i visited this place last .one thing i must say is that they maintain a very good quality of food .service is undoubtedly great and ofcourse ambience something i love to get back for .good quality of food at afforable price is the biggest plus i would say .

family reunion at home. decided to order biryani and butter chicken from here. the quality has dropped and so has the quantity. the prices were really not worth for the food we ate. the butter chicken gravy was so watery. spoilt the entire eve and had to reorder food from else where.

food was delicious, they served it on time each dish, n service was excellent, biriyani was fantabulous 😍 n ambience was amazing, n we loved evrything abt almaza

good place for kebabs. not usually crowded because it's located a little inside from the main road, which is a plus! :) service is good too. been here a couple of times, never been disappointed :)

this place is a nice restaurant setup .
we went as four people. we ordered non veg platter which was filling , but disappointed me in size as it was small 😶 and then we had coastal prawns under spicy category 🔥 it was tasty and yummy and spicy at the same time. we also had a mutton biryani and a chicken briyani. mutton briyani is a must try there musttttt !! pocket friendly too 💰

the food was super osm. me and my wife went last night and mainly the service they provide is really good. also ppl who take orders r really knowledgeable on what they provide and how it’s been prepared which i don’t see @ many places. 2nd the food was really really good. the meat(both chicken and mutton) was super juicy and well cooked with appropriate mix of spices and overall the experience was really good. with a very competitive pricing they yet provide a superb food. do try it 👍

food quality, taste and quantity are top notch. their kebabs are the best in chennai. i have had some of their signature gravies, in both chicken and mutton, and they are world class (murg begum bahar is one of my favourite). their biriyani is also really good. i have had rasamalai and bread sweet. both were good (the bread sweet could have been less sweeter)

reason for not giving a 5 is because of their price. slightly higher than the average restaurant's but again you pay for the quality and taste, which i guess is justified with this restaurant

we visited this restaurant fa a get together of friends (7 ppl) ... "first impression is the best impression".. and yes we experienced.. such a pleasant place to visit.. be it with friends or family... this place looks very new because it is very well maintained...

it is important for the staff to know about the food they provide.. the food we had was suggested by the staff... the staff were able to understand the type of food v needed and their suggestions hit the right chord..

coming to the food... this restaurant provides the best starters... rightly cooked.. tasty.. delicious... i am a fan of dum briyani.. the briyani they provide contains tomatoes which is not what i like.. however my companions were really happy with the briyani...

bottomline : a complete experience

while craving for biryani happened to come across this restaurant listed in brilliant biryanis and hence decided to visit here for lunch.

we reached here around 1pm and were promptly attended to by the staff. this restaurant is located in a really quiet neighborhood just a km away from anna clock tower circle, with ample parking around for cars. the ambience of the restaurant is relaxing and goes really well with their location. ideal for a quiet or formal friends/family get together.

as soon as we were seated we were given a complimentary welcome drink and papad. we ordered a chicken and mutton biryani along with a chilli mili murg kabab as suggested by the waiter.

both variations of the biryani were really good, this is more of a mild masala but packed with flavour type of biryani. the chicken and mutton were both succulent and packed with flavour.

the chilli mili murg kabab was nice and spicy with a good hint of herbs and went well with the biryani.

we also ordered a coastal prawns midway and it arrived promptly. it had a nice punch in the taste department and did justice for its price.

overall this is a restaurant i would visit again just for the biryani and the super friendly staff. all of the above costed ₹1187 for 2 people.

one of the finest dining places in anna nagar. love the mughlai dishes. the tomato soup is amazing and the galouti kebab truly melts in the mouth. wonderful service too. the staff is very courteous. love to visit this place!ankur arya

located in a calm residential area, it looks pretty simple from outside but, was good inside the restaurant. since we were very hungry, skipped the soup and directly went to main dishes. ordered a pepper tandoori chicken, fish fingers, mutton biryani and veg fried rice. the tandoori pepper was lips macking good, the fish fingers was from kids menu, so it wad just 4 pieces with french fries which also tasted good. the biryani was spot on with perfect and juicy mutton pieces with rice and one of the best in chennai. however the fried rice was little salty and tasted okay. the service needs to be improved, as i saw the waiter serving the ketchup and green chutney picked up from other table, which was not pleasing for sure. rest all fine and surely another visit for their biryani 😀

was checking out to taste the best briyani in anna nagar one of my friend had suggested this place . we had ordered chicken seek kabab and chilli milli for starter and chicken dum briyani, their service was quick and the staff was so good the ambiance was neat n clean . the briyani tasted so yummy and all the chicken variety was fabulous. i will surely recommend all of you to try this place .
