went to this place around 1pm for lunch along with mom. we felt bit uneasy as around 20 men were there but after 10 minutes everyone left until we were done with lunch no other person came i wonder why is that.

anyway the service was pretty quick and interior is just usual. we got rara murg with steamed rice, murg banjara kebab, manchow chicken soup and chicken dumbriyaniparcel. i pretty much impressed with the quantity of curry, kebab was well marinated and taste good. soup taste is bland.briyaniwas okaykish nothing special in that.

they give buttermilk in shot glasses as complimentary. it's on first floor which caused us trouble as mother while climbing. slightly overpriced according to the taste.

i have been living around anna nagar for two decades! but i myself took some time to locate this place, since there is no big landmark nearby. i would suggest everyone to use google map! we a group of 15, visited this place and had pre booked the tables in advance with a request to put us all in one place. but we had to settle down in two different tables. we had ordered almost all the major dishes in the menu, but the egg curry and the platters( both sea food & non veg) were the best. theirbriyaniwhich had so much hype, wasn't grand! their rates were comparatively cheaper than sea shell! everything was pleasant except for their service!

wanted to try this restaurant based on the hype it had and zomato rating . the ambience is very pleasing . neatly arranged with appropriate lights . also located in a calm residential place . menu is lengthy but all the items may not be available. depends on what they chose to prepare for the day.
i visited this place with loads of expectations . i just ordered a chickenbriyaniand my review is gonna be just based on that . thebriyaniwhich came after a while, was in a closed bowl neatly covered -when opened had a good pleasant appetising aroma . but there ends the good part 🙂. i eagerly went for the first bite 🥄 🍴 . it wasn’t tasting even close tobriyani. it was a hurrily cooked rice and gravies put together . the spices were very imbalanced . you might see a small chicken leg on the top of the bowl and that’s it for the meat portion for the entirebriyani.service was ok or even below average for a dine out restaurant. i definitely din’t like the taste of thebriyaniand the curry . infact i wouldn’t tag that asbriyani. the place had a few family getting together .. there were load of free tables even on a weekend . i would say more of a hangout spot rather than a dine out spot. do try other dishes if you happen to visit this restaurant and share your feedbacks cos am definitely not gonna visit again . 😋. as like many others, was deceived by the rating . happy eating !!

perfectbriyaniand must try briyani.

briyani is so authentic and yummy. their coastly fry fish is mouthwatering. serving and attitude of staffs is also great. a good place if you are abriyanilover.

good food with very good taste. one of the finest restaurant with sufficient quantity delivered. i loved the chicken 65briyaniin which the chicken 65 was all with flesh and not bones which i see only in this restaurant this adds an extra credits for serving for money genuinely.

chicken 65briyaniis one the best tat i have ever had . it’s a must try here :) . this is one of the best place for sea foods as well. quantity is less but it’s worth it !

seeing the great reviews and ratings in zomato our foodie gang decided on this one for our treat! the exterior definitely is a put off and the interior was like any of the normal restaurants..this was unexpected as it had great pics on zomato..

aatukaal soup is wt v decided to try as the name itself was tempting enough! it was okayish and the flavour was not deep enough..

for starters , tried fish fingers and some chicken kebab..both were kinda bland and v have tasted better!

main course - tried their signature chicken dumbriyaniwhich was surprisingly bland and was kinda a variety rice.. the garlic naan and prawn pepper masala was a good match as suggested by the manager..but the game saver for us was the schezwan egg noodles which definitely was in par with any asian restaurant in town..

dessert - shahi tukda - a kinda bread pudding which was average and the chocolate ice cream was worth the try- delicious!!

overall definitely not happy with the quantity and the taste for the bucks v paid and it is a one time try restaurant for us!

poor service.. not a good experience, they not even have a mouth freshener, finger bowl... worst experience with waste of money.. the taste of muttonbriyaniand garlic naan is nice..

been here about 4 years back ,,but still they keep up their standard in taste and service!!

the ambience is subtle, simple attractive and cozy too!! the wall decor made in golden hue was adorning!!loved the service which is prompt and impeccable ,, they were courteous and friendly!!kudos to the team!

we had a complimentary butter milk drink, with pappad and three dips which includes pineapple,mint and tomato sauce,, which was perfect to go with the pappad and appetizers!! butter milk gave a refreshing start:)

we started with murg malai kebab,, wow the best one i had ,, creamy, juicy and tender couldn't resist our selves, we guzzled in no time 😋 then came our tandoori,, was good , marinated and cooked with perfect blend of masalas!

their signature dish,briyani was good mildly spiced with long grains perfectly cooked in the masalas!! loved it!! but was missing in some flavours which i tried before 4 years!!!

they suggested ra ra murg with wheat paratha ,,it's kinda gravy made with minced chicken and scrambled egg and served with sliced egg,,perfect to go with paratha

dessert part we opted for shahi thukda ,,liked the bread which is cooked in ghee and soaked inside a malai base,, decilious and lip smacking!!

mini falooda, best one i have ever tasted with three layers of ice creams topped with nuts,,when u scoop out there comes the ice creams with nuts, fruits, and sweet sause ,,was lingering in my palate!! omg it was amazing and finger licking!!best way to end our meal!!

and thanq for greeting my kid and letting him a little venture into the kitchen with a complimentary scoop of chocolate ice creams!

al maza is one of the hidden gem for briyani, tucked away in the silent streets of anna nagar,, which will never disappoint you!!

this place is a nice restaurant setup .
we went as four people. we ordered non veg platter which was filling , but disappointed me in size as it was small 😶 and then we had coastal prawns under spicy category 🔥 it was tasty and yummy and spicy at the same time. we also had a mutton biryani and a chicken briyani. muttonbriyaniis a must try there musttttt !! pocket friendly too 💰

we visited this restaurant fa a get together of friends (7 ppl) ... "first impression is the best impression".. and yes we experienced.. such a pleasant place to visit.. be it with friends or family... this place looks very new because it is very well maintained...

it is important for the staff to know about the food they provide.. the food we had was suggested by the staff... the staff were able to understand the type of food v needed and their suggestions hit the right chord..

coming to the food... this restaurant provides the best starters... rightly cooked.. tasty.. delicious... i am a fan of dum briyani.. thebriyanithey provide contains tomatoes which is not what i like.. however my companions were really happy with the briyani...
desserts are overpriced like any other restaurant in
the country....

bottomline : a complete experience

was checking out to taste the bestbriyaniin anna nagar one of my friend had suggested this place . we had ordered chicken seek kabab and chilli milli for starter and chicken dum briyani, their service was quick and the staff was so good the ambiance was neat n clean . thebriyanitasted so yummy and all the chicken variety was fabulous. i will surely recommend all of you to try this place .

me and my friend ordered chicken briyani, mutton briyani, pepper chicken tandoori and lime mint cooler.
pepper chicken tandoori is very tasteful and we like it very much.

both thebriyaniis okay, it is not spicy!! and the rice also some what hard today!!

both chicken & mutton  in thebriyaniis cooked well. finally had lime mint. 
over all price is  1086rs..

decided to visit again for kebabs & tandoori not for briyani!!

pleasant ambience followed by refreshing complimentary chaas and papads...reshmi kebab, chicken lollipop and muttton sheek for starters.. mutton fish and prawn briyanis, bhuna ghost for main course..followed by shahi tukda and spl falooda for desserts.. everything was rightly made and so fresh straightaway from the open kitchen. enough of pros.

coming to the cons. the service was damn slow. and the muttonbriyaniwas unavailable at 1.45 pm on a sunday lunch which will disappoint anyone for that matter as the sole purpose of visit was to have their mutton briyani. i understand the heavy demand but they should increase the quantity they make,as they proudly call themselves to make the bestbriyaniin town.

overall good food and very hygienic. :)
