this place never disappoints i would say . i have been ordering food from this place over a few years now and they make sure they maintain the quality . ordered the following : chicken 65biriyani- the taste has changed over the few years but it’s still good and would my favourite always( special mention to the rich brinjal gravy and raita which hasn’t changed at all) , paneer tikka masala - definitely yumm, veg fried rice - good . bit pricy to order frequently but worthy choice for special occasions . not to forget that the portions are pretty huge .

i would recommend this place. muttonbiriyaniis better than chicken biriyani. afgani chicken tikka was nice, tender & juicy. it’s a good place to order food as well. their take away packing is good.

this one of the best arabian restaurants, even though they are a little north indian kind. thebiriyaniwas too good. also the arabian starters are a must try. highly recommended.

don’t get fooled by the name, as it is not a mediterranean/arabian cuisine-offering eatery. al maza is a typical north indian restaurant, and a pretty good one at that. we have been coming here on and off since 3-4 years now, and every experience was good. so for new year’s eve dinner we decided to come again.

food: 4/5 – we were given butter milk shots as welcome drink, and they gladly gave more on request. achari chicken tikka and coastal prawn were our starters.
both were spicy but yummy. theirbiriyaniis very good, but sadly mutton and regular chickenbiriyanigot over very early it seems, owing to a lot of phone orders and take out orders earlier that evening. so we were left with chicken 65biriyaniand egg biriyani. tandoori roti and chicken xacuti (really spicy!) were also good. most of the spice was cooled off with the mildly sweet thandai drink. their rose milk is also a good option.

ambience: 5/5 – décor and furnishing look elegant. that and their lighting makes you feel like you are dining in a palace. they have ample seating place for various groups.

service: 4/5 – since it was new year’s eve, the place was packed. luckily, we had reserved a table. service was quick once the order was taken, but due to the increasing crowd getting them to take the order was a task. however, the manager and waiters were quick and efficient and handled the situation with ease. there is no valet parking. if the designated area is full, parking is pretty manageable in the vicinity, as the restaurant is located at a junction of a residential area.

overall, a great place with good food, and you would want to visit again.

this place is so awesome......the finestbiriyaniin the town and the starter are also so good......they welcomes with warm greetings and seated in the beautiful lovely silent ambiance with the live kitchen the place is so awesome and service is so good.......if you hesitate about the menu they explains how and eats in it.....the beautiful place located on the first floor with great service........the dessert shahi tukda i felt in love with that .....no words to say about that.....price is bit costly andbiriyaniquantity is little i felt they could increase the size for the money they get from us ....good place.

al-maza, the fine dining restaurant at anna nagar, ain’t no love like the love of abiriyanihere, you may visit many time to this place but the quality and the taste always remains the same, though i am visiting this place often the taste remains the same as it was. not only for itsbiriyaniall its menu. the fine dining remains the very fine dining. 😁😄. .

i went with my familg on sunday ... nice ambiance good staff quick and prompt service , we order bhatia ka murgh , chicken lolly pop, tara gosht , chickenbiriyani, roti and faluda ... bhatia ka murgh was awsome, lolly pop and roti was not cooked properly , chickenbiriyaniwas okay only i found less rice and more masala , tara vishnu was not up to the mark and top of it i found hair in rara gosht i showed that to the gentle man who attend . he just came to my table and he said this not hair and this is thread only .i was not convinced that the explanation which he had given, he didn't events apolagiesd for the same .
this is highly disappointment from almaza because they were not replaced my curry , even that is thread also it shouldn't come in the food that basic curtsey also the dont have i was quite surprised how can they have very lethargic when customer give some wrong things from food ....

awesome and delicious food especiallybiriyaniand tandoori items but sad not on zomato online delivery till date . it would better if they do

food was delicious, they served it on time each dish, n service was excellent,biriyaniwas fantabulous 😍 n ambience was amazing, n we loved evrything abt almaza

food quality, taste and quantity are top notch. their kebabs are the best in chennai. i have had some of their signature gravies, in both chicken and mutton, and they are world class (murg begum bahar is one of my favourite). theirbiriyaniis also really good. i have had rasamalai and bread sweet. both were good (the bread sweet could have been less sweeter)

reason for not giving a 5 is because of their price. slightly higher than the average restaurant's but again you pay for the quality and taste, which i guess is justified with this restaurant

went on to have dinner at this place on a saturday evening. though the place was deserted, the interior and the arabic kind music was soothing us on a side. the food is of usual taste, hasnt got something unique but not worth to complain. their non veg platter is a must try(economic as well) and theirbiriyaniis tasty, should be tried by less-spicybiriyanilovers.
