hi,
i have been here the second time as it was all good wen i visited for the first time after their renovation mainly in the afternoon, tht time the food was all good fresh n hot. with same tot had been there around 9:30pm and ordered two starters and briyani- it wasn’t fresh or served hot. totally disappointed ☹️ totally. lost the good hope had on almaza and their muslim briyani..
service was not great at all, when complained about this issue they were not listening to the customer view and again a bad experience.

"bad" infact "very bad" is the word that describe their food. paneer saghwala should be renamed as "garlic saghwala" and fried rice should be renamed as "garic no rice fried rice"......all the best to all who dine in or order...overated, just do not go by ratings. in past three orders only once food was good.

i visited this place for lunch on a saturday evening. we were given butter milk shots as a welcome drink. starters were awesome and good taste too... then come to the main course ..we have ordered garlic naan i was having high expectation. unfortunately, its too big and taste was average. but the curry was really nice to have......

this place never disappoints i would say . i have been ordering food from this place over a few years now and they make sure they maintain the quality . ordered the following : chicken 65 biriyani - the taste has changed over the few years but it’s still good and would my favourite always( special mention to the rich brinjal gravy and raita which hasn’t changed at all) , paneer tikka masala - definitely yumm, veg fried rice - good . bit pricy to order frequently but worthy choice for special occasions . not to forget that the portions are pretty huge .

i would recommend this place. mutton biriyani is better than chicken biriyani. afgani chicken tikka was nice, tender & juicy. it’s a good place to order food as well. their take away packing is good.

visited this place for lunch on a saturday morning. food was quite nice here apart from a few items like veg biryani. we ordered some soups, tandoori starters, biryanis and curd rice. all of them tasted good. they give free buttermilk in small shot glasses which is cute. staff is very friendly and helpful too. prices are a little on the higher side though.

one the classic cult restaurents in chennai for arabic mutton and chicken lovers my mouth waters when i hear this restaurents name.

the biryani also has a very unique taste.

briyani is so authentic and yummy. their coastly fry fish is mouthwatering. serving and attitude of staffs is also great. a good place if you are a briyani lover.

we have been there twice and most of the tables being full, they were courteous to arrange n serve us. if you're planning for a weekend lunch, it's better to call and make reservation. their biryani gets over so quick!

about food :
we have had badami shorba which is so aromatic n tastes excellent. their non veg platter n chicken 65 were yummy too..
talking about biryani - they serve the best mutton and prawn biryani. you've to definitely try their mutton and prawn biryani if you're in chennai.

good hospitality by the restaurant owner but the servers could serve better.

visited this place almost after 4 years.. surprised to see the same quality nd taste in their food.. this s place for best kababa and tikkas... fine dining place with good interiors in annanagar..

food:
murgh badami shorba.mildly spiced chicken soup with almonds and spices.. tasted more like our kurma

coastal fish fry: blend of our regular fish fry and kabab.. soft and fresh fish steaks...

tandoori pepper chicken: fusion of tandoori nd barbeque chicken with more of pepper flavour nd taste.

shahi tukda ..mini slices of bread deep-fried and drenched in malai or rabdi.. tasted yummm ..

best place for kababs and tikka lovers

we went for lunch. we have tried different dishes everything was quite good in taste and satisfy our tummies too😉😝 .only disappoint thing is that their service was too slow rather than that everything was fine❤️. ambinece is moderate. its place too have lunch on weekends or dinner.

good food with very good taste. one of the finest restaurant with sufficient quantity delivered. i loved the chicken 65 briyani in which the chicken 65 was all with flesh and not bones which i see only in this restaurant this adds an extra credits for serving for money genuinely.
