a greatplacewith wonderful ambience, great food and service. this was actually our first time at the restaurant. the locale itself was very quiet as it is in a residential area. we ordered prawns mehrusnnisa - very good and mutton kebab - exceptional. the service was prompt and the waiters were very pleasant. will visit again for more varieties!
and also very reasonable :)

goodplace- we’ve gone there for lunch and dinner at different times. food is always consistently good and so is the service. we had vegetarian food and i while thisplaceis already popular with non vegetarians i would recommend this to vegetarians as well.

i've been a regular customer of al maza for years now. they've never let me down in terms of food quality, taste or service. my go toplacewhenever i want to indulge. highly recommend!

went to thisplacearound 1pm for lunch along with mom. we felt bit uneasy as around 20 men were there but after 10 minutes everyone left until we were done with lunch no other person came i wonder why is that.

anyway the service was pretty quick and interior is just usual. we got rara murg with steamed rice, murg banjara kebab, manchow chicken soup and chicken dum briyani parcel. i pretty much impressed with the quantity of curry, kebab was well marinated and taste good. soup taste is bland. briyani was okaykish nothing special in that.

they give buttermilk in shot glasses as complimentary. it's on first floor which caused us trouble as mother while climbing. slightly overpriced according to the taste.

i have been living around anna nagar for two decades! but i myself took some time to locate this place, since there is no big landmark nearby. i would suggest everyone to use google map! we a group of 15, visited thisplaceand had pre booked the tables in advance with a request to put us all in one place. but we had to settle down in two different tables. we had ordered almost all the major dishes in the menu, but the egg curry and the platters( both sea food & non veg) were the best. their briyani which had so much hype, wasn't grand! their rates were comparatively cheaper than sea shell! everything was pleasant except for their service!

service is exceptional in this place. it's a goodplacefor kebabs and grilled meat. all kinds of meat. the lassoni prawn was mouth watering and the kalmi kebab so juicy! oh my! 😍😍😍😍😍


biriyani was below average , didn't like it at all. the mutton shorba was ok. go here for the kebabs and the grills.

probably one of the bestplacefor non vegetarians.. but me being a vegetarian found theplacegood enough as well.. the soup and veg starter platter was huge and yummy.. though some might some of the dishes super spicy, it only enhanced the taste.. the rotis was super soft as well.. my. mom who had mutton biryani considered it to be the best she had tasyed in recent years..

the desserts were okish and the shahi tukda could have been slightly better..

ambience was awesome and less noisy.. and it is always better to confirm if the veg dishes are served properly as i got a chicken manchow soup instead of veg and the waiter dint agree when i called it out initially.. but after checking it out more, the management apologized sincerely and replaced it..

went here for a family dinner. theplacewas fully packed as it was new year day. we ordered seafood platter, mushroom masala, chicken kheema naan, butter naan and peas pulao. none of the dishes did justice to the quantity. kheema naan had very little kheema in it. loved the mushroom masala. the seafood platter had only fish and prawns. all the pieces of the fish just looked different in colour but tasted the same. so coming to the most annoying part, we had to complete our foor and wait for 30mins for the pulao. they should know how to control the crowd.

almaza is our default go-toplacefor a quiet lunch or dinner. set in a quiet corner in anna nagar, theplaceoffers a good ambience and is an ideal spot for a family gathering. what i like about theplaceis how accommodating they are of their customer’s needs. many a times i have ordered food with special dietary needs (no salt, no oil etc) and each time they have delivered without hesitation. their prawn and mutton dishes are a must try. we always go back for zahir who is a friendly face and ensures that we are comfortable. courteous staff, hygienic setting and super yummy food. worth the money.

wanted to try this restaurant based on the hype it had and zomato rating . the ambience is very pleasing . neatly arranged with appropriate lights . also located in a calm residentialplace. menu is lengthy but all the items may not be available. depends on what they chose to prepare for the day.
i visited thisplacewith loads of expectations . i just ordered a chicken briyani and my review is gonna be just based on that . the briyani which came after a while, was in a closed bowl neatly covered -when opened had a good pleasant appetising aroma . but there ends the good part 🙂. i eagerly went for the first bite 🥄 🍴 . it wasn’t tasting even close to briyani . it was a hurrily cooked rice and gravies put together . the spices were very imbalanced . you might see a small chicken leg on the top of the bowl and that’s it for the meat portion for the entire briyani .service was ok or even below average for a dine out restaurant. i definitely din’t like the taste of the briyani and the curry . infact i wouldn’t tag that as briyani . theplacehad a few family getting together .. there were load of free tables even on a weekend . i would say more of a hangout spot rather than a dine out spot. do try other dishes if you happen to visit this restaurant and share your feedbacks cos am definitely not gonna visit again . 😋. as like many others, was deceived by the rating . happy eating !!

what has happened to al maza ? it was one of the nicestplaceto eat with very good service but it has become horrible now. the person taking the order is always on a phone call. he doesn’t attend us in time. he did not listen to any instruction that we gave about how we wanted our food. i asked for the food to be hot (which is a very small thing to ask) but no all the food was cold or just warm. the service is soooo poor. i had to ask for water glass, cutlery, tissues, each and every time, even plates. it has become soooo bad. i am too disappointed and don’t think will go there ever again.
