this place is so awesome......the finest biriyani in the town and the starter are also so good......they welcomes with warm greetings and seated in the beautiful lovely silent ambiance with the live kitchen the place is so awesome and service is so good.......if you hesitate about the menu they explains how and eats in it.....the beautiful place located on the first floor with great service........the dessert shahi tukda i felt in love with that .....no words to say about that.....price is bit costly and biriyani quantity is little i felt they could increase the size for the money they get from us ....good place.

al-maza, the fine dining restaurant at anna nagar, ain’t no love like the love of a biriyani here, you may visit many time to this place but the quality and the taste always remains the same, though i am visiting this place often the taste remains the same as it was. not only for its biriyani all its menu. the fine dining remains the very fine dining. 😁😄. .

a perfect place to dine in 😍😍 good ambience..and lot of varieties... loved the hot gulab jamun and mango ice-cream.. prawn salt and pepper fry... yummy one don't miss it... the view of kitchen... just awesome.. too😍😍😍

polite staff.. quiet ambience.. all the food that we ordered were excellent, but of course, the chicken biryani was better than veg 😀

i went with my familg on sunday ... nice ambiance good staff quick and prompt service , we order bhatia ka murgh , chicken lolly pop, tara gosht , chicken biriyani , roti and faluda ... bhatia ka murgh was awsome, lolly pop and roti was not cooked properly , chicken biriyani was okay only i found less rice and more masala , tara vishnu was not up to the mark and top of it i found hair in rara gosht i showed that to the gentle man who attend . he just came to my table and he said this not hair and this is thread only .i was not convinced that the explanation which he had given, he didn't events apolagiesd for the same .
this is highly disappointment from almaza because they were not replaced my curry , even that is thread also it shouldn't come in the food that basic curtsey also the dont have i was quite surprised how can they have very lethargic when customer give some wrong things from food ....

food is ok but not value for money. but staffs are very rude. they don't know how to treat customer and specifically to ladies. never come back again to this restaurant.

excellent biriyani. the closest taste to ambur biriyani. quiet ambience. good service. drinks a bit expensive. short opening hours. worth visiting.

awesome and delicious food especially biriyani and tandoori items but sad not on zomato online delivery till date . it would better if they do

after a long time found a place where each item in the menu is explained in detail, how it is made, ingredients, expected taste. the kitchen is so clean, food is prepared hygienically in front of our eyes, there is special menu for kids with no spice, one visit to this place will make you revisit multiple times

if you love to spend lavish on food, this place is worth to try for. i agree that their quality of food is good, but i am unsure whether it matches the cost of it. ambience is not so great, with empty buffet bowls although they don't serve buffet.

came here for dinner. great ambience, excellent hospitality, delicious food. appreciate the customer service by mr. afsal. strongly recommend the place for good kebabs..

firstly, the place was really good. restaurant ambience was cool and new. lighting was relatively better, could've been more brighter.

speed of service: speed was okay. gravy took time to come. starters were extremely fast to reach. service on the whole was good as they were very fast in clearing the plates and the used utensils.

cost: the place is kinda costly. it costed us almost 2.2k for a family dinner of 4 people. seafood could've been more cheaper.

worth for cost: was okay for 2.2k. but still could've been more cheaper as the dishes were almost the same as normal-priced restaurants.

p.s- keep up the good work and prices can be reduced a bit as it is slightly overpriced. the taste was good enough for dinner. have to try lunch once. buffet options are available for lunch, everyone can def give a try :)

on seeing reviews about this restaurant, we opted to visit almaza on sunday lunch..the place was located in a residential area..

we have waited for more than 10 min to get a table...
ambience was good and medium-sized restaurant...

they welcomed with butter milk and pappad as complimentary..

ordered butter naan, garlic roti,kadai panner, gobi adrika and veg schezwan rice..

all the items were served fast (within 15 min they served to table ))

taste was average and quantity was huge( can be served for 2), we expected more on seeing reviews...so we thought to order some more items and called server...
then the server mentioned about closing time (( he said we can't take order on second time due to closing and chefs have left))) we got little disappointed...

another disappointment is while having food, server told to pay for bill..

overall it was a poor experience...

we thought to complaint about the service to manger but he was not there...

went to a birthday party in this restaurant which is situated in anna nagar east the street adjacent to porr and sons near roundtana. situated on the first floor, the ambience was good and clean, has around 50+ seaters with visible kitchen, a growing kitchen trend nowadays.

the restaurant owner was courteous and guided us from the time entered till the time we exit. we are 20 in the count, butter milk and pappad was given as a compliment.

we started from soup,

 attukal soup - tasted average

tandoori pepper chicken- tasted great,

murg malai kebab- pieces of chicken marinated in cream sauce cooked in tandoor tasted excellent, the chicken was so soft and tender and melted in our mouth.

paneer –e-kas-sheek – cottage cheese kebab glazed with mozzarella cheese, cream & dry fruits with indian herbs cooked in tandoor, tasted average

rara ghost – mixture of minced mutton and mutton with rich & spicy gravy garnished with chopped egg, tasted great.

mutton/chicken dum biriyani- both the biriyani’s tasted good

apart from that butter roti, mutton chukka, peas pulao, chilly babycorn, egg noodles, schezwan egg noodles, vegetable biriyani’s were ordered.

for dessert, we ordered butter scotch, mango and chocolate ice cream.

finally, we ordered
 

shahi tukda- also known as double ka meetha is a sweet of lucknow, a muhalai bread pudding and is an ultimate winter dessert. small pieces of bread fried in ghee and topped with creamy rabri.

the bill came around 6500/- for 20 members.

overall almaza is a great place to have f o o d.
