we flew all the way to try this place and it definitely rose to our expectations.
their food is a must try, i loved their way of presenting appetisers for us to select from.
i also loved the hospitality, they were very helpful and friendly and they took very good care of us.
to our good luck, chef burak was there as well.
thank you for having us, the experience was definitely wholesome!

we had high expectation for this place specially after recommendations from relatives and friends. however after paying it a visit in ramadan, it wasn’t what we expected and in particular for the price they charged us.

1, the place was so cramped with tables and people that you couldn’t even breath or find proper seating.
2, the food was okay but nothing special. since we went for iftar, we were offered one quantity of each type which i was quite surprised and also the food took ages to be served.
3, desserts were nothing special basic kunafa with several pieces of watermelon and sweet melon for 4 people.
4, there was only one wc to cater for the whole restaurant and most of the time it was packed. for a place with that size, i would have presumed they would have several wc’s.

i will probably go to a different restaurant next time having now known that i can get the same food and quality at a cheaper price but ultimately with a piece of mind. i am writing this review with a fat migraine.

so this place is the reason we flew to istanbul. burak has been my husband’s cooking inspiration for a while now and when we had a short break we decided to go and try to meet him. we got to the restaurant early around 3-4pm to avoid people traffic. best decision ever because on seating we saw the man himself who came over to say hello and meet our daughter. he took the cutest pictures with us despite being very tired that day. the staff, the shisha and the food was just amazing. we will go by here everytime we go to istanbul. we ordered the lamb cooked in salt in the over and after a spectacular fire show at our table we dug in and we were not disappointed. great atmosphere, great food and great prices!

we had rly high expectations since the place is very famous especially for lebanese people. we heard abt it and how the food is special and tasty
unfortunately we hated this place and will never come back again when in istanbul
we were 6 people, none of us liked the food
we ordered 1 plate ( kofta with cheese and bread ) we couldn't taste it!! the smell was horrible
hummus had a weird taste, labne with mint was nt bad as well as stuffed chicken cooked in salt paste , the show was gd
i guess this place is overrated

and why the waiter need to interrupt me just to take a picture with him , weird place , but the food was fine and not great

service is really bad and slow! food is normal i dont know what the fuss is all about! place is over crowded it took them almost 40 minutes to bring our plates! portion is not really that bad and taste is ordinary normal! overall, i believe the hype is not worth it and the waiters arent really that friendly! prices are expensive a little with respect to everything!

one off my bucket list! dreamt of being there and finally made it happen during our visit to istanbul this time. food was on another level of taste! loved it to bits. unfortunately couldnt meet the chef but definitely worth going for it!!!?

one of the unique food experiences i ever had. a great ambiance and service with some kick ass food. drop the appertizers and go straight to the main dish.
a must try in istanbul.

nice and authentic place. great turkish food, especially the kabab with pistachio and the kabab specialty dishes. the waiters are not so friendly though which worsens your experience.

arapların gittiği çok pis ve kötü hizmeti olan bir yer , o resmini koydukları ünlüler nasıl gitmiş oraya inanamıyorum. bir daha mı asla :( istanbulda etilerde kadın olan masanın yanına iki erkeğin oturtulmadığı tek yer. canım ülkem ne hale geldi.

2 yıldız veriyorum. beklentilerimizin çok çok altında bir yer. garsonların lâbâli hareketlerinden rahatsız olduk. lezzet kalitesi fena değildi ama çok lezzet beklemeyin . i̇stediğimiz masaya oturamadık dahi rezerve olmadığı halde. gidicekseniz beklentilerinizi yüksek tutmayın fiyatlar pahalı düzeyde.

we heard a lot about this place, located in ateler area, we were very excited to try the various dishes from the famous chef burak’s menu, we were starving so we ordered a lot of dishes, we were pleasantly surprised with every dish, everything was full of flavours, we loved the turkish tabouleh, the kebabs were just amazingly tender and tasty. the place is constantly full and you have to wait outside for a minimum of 30 mns to get a table as they don’t take reservations, but it was definitely worth the wait, if you ever visit istanbul, you must eat at this restaurant.

fiyat performansına göre yemek lezzetleri beni tatmin etmedi. marka reklamı fazla olduğu için fiyatlar da o oranda fazla olmuş. meze tabağındaki mezelerin çoğu her yerde bulunan mezeler. beklentim hatay'a özgü mezelerin daha çok olmasıydı. genelde arap turistlerin daha çok gittiği bir turistik mekan olmuş.
