busy on saturday and sundays for brunch, çeşme bazlama kahvaltı does turkish breakfast, and only turkish breakfast. you don't order; the staff just brings out a gigantic tray of cheeses, tomatoes and cucumbers, and small dishes containing jams, olive oil, cacik, black and green olives, bal & kaymak (honey & clotted cream), pekmez & tahini spread. a plate of sucuk (garlic-cured sausage) and pişi (a plain doughnut) also arrived. then you receive a pan of menemen (eggs scrambled with tomatoes & green pepper), plus a selection of bazlama (a flat puffy bread similar to an english muffin) and pieces of gözleme (a crepe-like bread filled with either a potato-mixture or eggplant and greens), which are being made fresh by a woman working on a stove by the door. there's tea, of course, and you can order fresh orange juice, and turkish coffee later. 50tl per person, not including extras. you can ask for more of anything. it's a feast, and everything is very delicious, plus they have a tray of extra jams you can choose from.
