best of the best! the view is stunning and so is the food. this is a great spot to catch the sunset and have some drinks. thefoodis as fresh as it comes too.

the only thing going for this place is location. the view is nice (but not that nice), except for when it's interrupted by heavy machinery loading and unloading boats in and out of the water (a process that fascinated by 18 month old son, so that was good). thefoodwas completely mediocre. yawn inducingly so. seriously... i could have gone to sleep waiting for the food, and probably could have slept through thefooditself. and the drinks were... kinda tasteless. so, view? good. food? blah. service? sort of blah. out of the way location with better options nearby? definitely.

big box nightmare. took another chance at this location; turns out once again...that's all this place has going for it. too long of a wait, too long for thefoodto arrive. (i understand the attraction, but 2 hours to wait to sit then one and a half hours for the apps to come to the table? tragic.)foodwas mediocre at very best, server was overwhelmed, undertrained and overmatched to handle the section he had. manager never stopped by to address any of the issues we were experiencing. the owner/chef? couple of notes you might want to work on....thefoodwasn't hot, lacked flavor and got to the table so far after our arrival i felt like the experience was totally wasted. performance of the entire place was forgettable save for the nice people at the host stand. final result? never again.

thefoodis good...large menu...the atmosphere is fun. if you want a seat with water views...make a reservation. this was a great family joint!

wait was 1 1/2 but it went by rather fast. lots of things to do while you wait and the view is amazing!foodand service was awesome as well. ate there twice during our week stay at hilton head.

skull creek boathouse rocks!. we've been coming here for decades and thefoodhas always been awesomely good. the royal sampler i had tonight was delicious, and the crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, and fried oysters are personal favorites. service has always been very good, too. only issue was the music outside was a little close to death metal this time.

pretty good local seafood! we didn't love the inside atmosphere and wish we would have had a table outside. i think we would have liked it better outside! overall we would come back be thefoodwas good.

sunsets and waterside dining. thefoodworth raving about, but one should not overlook the magnificent view and rich experience afforded any guest!

the evironment offers 1)front row seats to colorful sunsets (and the perfect deck lounge seating to relish them), 2) birds eye view of infamous fish tales and fresh catches coming off the docks (also served at the restaurant) and an experience of great service on the ground by hospitable sun kissed smiling staff!

had dinner here for the sunset special. nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. we enjoyed our evening and had plenty offoodfor left overs later.

loved this place! ate for lunch yesterday. sat outside on a warm june day and didn't melt to death thanks to all of the fans they have blowing and the cool breeze off the water. beautiful views. our waitress was very informative and attentive.foodwas brought out timely and delicious! generous portions! huge menu to choose from. i had the broiled sea scallops and shrimp and husband had a cobia quesadilla. everything tasted very fresh. would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for fresh seafood and friendly service. :)

awesome atmosphere! there is always a long wait, but there is a ton of outdoor space where you can grab a drink and relax by the water. thefooditself won't blow your mind, but it certainly is good, and actually reasonably for seafood. we loved the seamed oysters and the latin ceviche. happy hour is 4-7 at the bar, so we grabbed drinks and an appetizer while we waited for our table.

very much a tourist-y kind of place. but thefoodis pretty tasty and sitting outside, with the view, is a real treat.

they also had gluten sensitive items for my wife.

super cool restaurant on the water in hilton head.  get here early if you don't like waiting for a table.  we got there by 5pm and only had to wait about 10-15 minutes.  by the time we left the wait was 90 minutes.  the menu is mostly seafood but they have other stuff too.  try to sit outside if you able.  the patio is huge and beautiful.  also a nice bar area outside.  thefoodand drinks are a but overpriced, but that is expected somewhere like hilton head.  all of our dishes were pretty good.  no one was blown away by their meal, but everything was tasty.  our service was pretty good despite how busy it was there.  try it out if you are on the island.

i go here entirely too often because they are so consistently good. there is always a wait, but for good reason. thefoodis great. always check the seat yourself areas. i often avoid the wait by sitting at one of the bar areas.
