horrible hostess! we are in town for a conference and tried to call ahead for lunch time seating. they very rudely said no. when we arrived, the hostess was more concerned about decorating with markers than listening to us. too many choices to have to settle for this .

a new chain restaurant popped up in little rock, arkansas recently and the sign outside identifies it as chuy’s .  i first heard about chuy’s at a local pet store where they were passing out appetizer coupons to anyone who had their dog’s picture taken (to later be put around the bar area.)  it’s a nice touch and i know the buzz helped me to hear about the place at least! outside of chuy’s the interior of chuy’s is as loud as the exterior with rooms full of hub-caps, a bar with hundreds of dog photos, and crowded spaces for the patrons.

chuy's has a very fun atmosphere and a friendly staff. happy hour is 4-7 weekdays, they offer 4.25 margaritas, 7.50 texas martinis, 2.75 domestics, free chips, salsa, queso, bean dip and taco meat. margaritas and martinis are strong and tasty. shrimp and cheese chile rellenos are awesome. i am going to try the elvis green chile fried chicken tonight (bartender recomends). fun place, huge plates of food (enough to share). they are great for a newly opened place. (update) elvis chicken is great!

never dissapointed. i love coming here when i'm in austin. always great food with fun atmosphere. entrees are consistent and the bar and wait staff always efficient. there is nothing pretentious about it here. must eat here if you never have. everything is delicious.

i had a wonderful first visit! the steak burrito was outstanding and the service was good as well. the atmosphere is fun for all types. i will certainly be returning!

love it!. loved chuy's. we both had the elvis platter and it was amazing--and so filling. everything had a delicious, strong flavor. the enchiladas were varied and stuffed full, covered in delicious sauces.

the margarita was a bit small for the prize, but it made up for it in flavor. and their salsa is absolutely delicious.

the service is friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed and we left feeling very full and content, and it was all really well priced. definitely recommend it!

thank zeus for chuy's!. i'm a 6th-generation, native texan from the austin area, and i was over-the-moon to find out that a chuy's had opened up in the tex-mex desert known as little rock.

i had my usual enchilada plate. when they brought it out, it looked stuffed like a burrito. that's because they put my refrieds inside the enchiladas for some reason. not exactly what i had in mind, but i chalk that up to new restaurant and new staff working with a new menu. it was still delicious and the drinks always are on target.

although the staff seem a little green right now, they make up for it with enthusiasm. our waitress seemed a little flustered and overwhelmed. i have no doubt that chuy's here will get better with time.

expensive and not delicious. they said they give me for lunch half the size of a portion. they wanted to say half the size of a double portion and they charged me very expensive for a plate of fajitas. the child wouldn't eat the french fries and the chicken.

tex mex with a southwest flair. it doesn't get much better than this. love the homemade tortillas, all the sauce choices especially the creamy jalapeño! the green chile sauce is authentic. love the charro beans and green chile rice. love it!

the worst service! im from houston and was excited to finally get a chuy's in little rock. i'm so disappointed. i have been there twice and both times had the worst service. the staff is very rude. the staff also was using profanity through out our meal. we had our children with us and the staff did not care at all. very disappointed!!! love the houston location and the staff!!!
