love it!. loved chuy's. we both had the elvis platter and it was amazing--and so filling. everything had a delicious, strong flavor. the enchiladas were varied and stuffed full, covered in delicious sauces.

the margarita was a bit small for the prize, but it made up for it in flavor. and theirsalsais absolutely delicious.

the service is friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed and we left feeling very full and content, and it was all really well priced. definitely recommend it!

overall pretty good. ate at chuy's for the first time on a sunday night. sat at the bar. was not impressed that the cocktail area was drinks and appetizers only. wish the patio had a tv so we could have watched the thunder game outside but no big deal. i had the taco salad which was good (had a side of refried beans to go with my salad and was tasty!) thesalsawas a bit spicy but still good and looked to be made fresh daily. my bf had a burrito which was huge! and was delicious! the green chile rice was really good, lots of flavor and not spicy at all. i had a bunch of margaritas which were pricey but still yummy! there were 6 bartenders on duty when we got there at 8ish. several of them just stood around and watched the game. kylea was very friendly and very attentive to every bar guest and refilled drinks and socialized with everyone. she knew the menu as well and could make suggestions as to what people may like. she told us that if we came in with a pic of our dogs it would be posted on the wall which i think is awesome! i liked chuy's and will return!

this was my first visit to a chuy's, but i'd heard such good things about the place. we visited on a friday before the lunch rush. we were greeted and seated immediately. a short time later, we were presented with the traditional chips, but thesalsawas different - in a good way. chuy'ssalsais a freshsalsa- fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, and the right amount of spice. we also ordered queso- very delicious - taste is similar to torchy's tacos salsa. i ordered the baja tacos with grilled shrimp and chuy's famous creamy jalapeno ranch dip on the side. overall an excellent lunch trip. we'll definitely be back!

we went for our first time last evening and were -- simply put -- blown away by the high quality of the tasty food and the incredible friendliness of the attentive staff.

we both had chicken burritos with hatch green chile sauce -- just insanely yummy.

thesalsawe started the meal with was a truly "fresca"salsa-- lots of lime. very tangy. exceptionally good.

chuy's keeps late hours, too -- at least by okie standards. (they close at ten p.m. -- and that was perfect for us last night, as we loathe the idea of being "those guys" who show up at five until nine when a place closes down at nine p.m., ya know? such a stupid thing to do. seriously.)

five stars for chuy's?
easily. absolutely.

we're looking forward to our next visit already!

my daughter in law and i ate here last night. thesalsaand queso were both too spicy. we asked the waiter, tyler, about it and he said that the degree of spiciness in those dishes depends on who is making them. the service was good, but i don't feel like gambling as to whether i can eat my food or not depending on who's cooking. i won't choose to eat here again.

we enjoyed our visit to chuy's. getting nearby parking can be challenging but we were lucky to get a spot close by. seated immediately on a wednesday night around 8:30 p.m. they have a vibrant bar area separate from the dining area, but you can order from the full menu in the bar if you choose. unlimited chips andsalsa-- and two distinctively different types ofsalsa- one tomato based finely chopped and the other a cream green chili base.

i ordered a chicken filled green chilisalsaenchilada and a meat filled chili relleno combination plate (with green chili rice and charro beans). it took quite a while for the meal to be delivered. meanwhile i did enjoy their "basic" margarita -- quite delicious for $7. the plate arrived super hot and the meal was very tasty in all respects. portions are large, and i ended up taking half home with me for lunch the next day (it re-heats quite well in the microwave).

i'm sure chuy's isn't the best mexican food in dallas but quite a decent experience, and high value.

this review is for the north little rock location which does not have its own zomato entry. i walked into the restaurant a little over an hour ago, at about 8:20 on sunday evening. the restaurant does not close until 10 pm, but the primary reason for writing this review is that the staff at this location was acting as though the restaurant had closed at 8 pm. everything about the service was slow; it took 10 minutes for my waitress to stop at my table the first time to bring chips andsalsaand to take a drink order, then it was 8:45 before my margarita arrived at my table. the restaurant was not busy, but there were several tables in attendance, and more people were seated after i had arrived. i was seated near the main intersection of the restaurant, where the staff would walk from the kitchen to the bar area. the whole time, there were large numbers of employees congregated in this area, loudly having personal conversations about what was going on in their lives outside of work, including profanity, and several occasions of staff members yelling from one part of the restaurants to the other. they seemed to be oblivious that customers could hear everything that was going on, and the subconscious attitude was that service of the customers seemed like an interruption to their raucous carrying on. twice during my hour visit to the restaurant there was the sound of shattering glass in the service area or bar. the food quality was also lower than normal chuy's standards. both of my bowls ofsalsahad jalapeño stems in them. the beef in the steak burrito was so over cooked that it was very dry, almost sawdusty, and was not even warm enough to melt the cheese in the burrito, although the plate was scorching hot when it arrived at the table. toward the end of my meal, as two of the staff members were sweeping up the dining room, they continued their loud personal conversation, taking much more time than needed to clean up after previous patrons, and were sweeping so close to my feet, that i thought they were almost trying to sweep me out as well. if this is indicative of the quality of service on sunday evenings, the restaurant might as well close much earlier.

our first time at this restaurant, both location and to the chain itself. it was disappointing to say the least and hands down the worst dining experience as a family to date. first, our appetizers and bar drinks were delivered before the kids drinks and waters. our server had a difficult time taking our order. he had to ask multiple times for our daughter to repeat, "may i have guacamole on that?". and her meal did not come out with it. our order arrived incomplete, with one of the kid's meals not included. he ended up waiting over five minutes for his meal to come out. he's a very patient 7 year-old, but he was getting very frustrated. drink refills were slow, and we didn't receive a refill on chips as requested.
the best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. thesalsais fresh and spicy, delicious. the remainder of the meal was just ok. we've had better text mex/mexican at other national chains.
we will not be going back.

we went to chuy's with a very large group {45} during a conference in okc. the service was perfect, the waitstaff was patient & had all of our food out in a timely manner.

i ordered 2 enchiladas {one tex-mex cheese with onions & the other beef with creamy jalapeno sauce} they were extra delicious. the chips &salsatasted fresh & were always full.

definitely worth a try the next time you are close to one!

we ate dinner at chuy's in west little rock tonight and i don't think we'll ever return. i ordered the veggie enchilada one of my favorite meals there and it wasn't up to what i have come to expect. also i bit into about an inch long piece of plastic bottle cap that was somehow in thesalsaand i have regurgitated at least four woody avocado stems that was mixed into the guacamole that we ordered. this all makes me wonder what else was in our food. i can no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone.

great mexican lunch today. was shopping in the area and stopped by for lunch just before noon. glad we chose that time as the place was packed by 12:30. was seated promptly and had a great waiter. he answered every question we had. bought us chips and three differ dips. one was too spicy for my spouse so he brought another that was greatly “toned down”. the chips were warm and as thin as could be. thesalsaand chips were the best. ordered the tortilla soup, since they did not offer caldo. i was told the soup was the best next thing to caldo. they brought out a really large bowl that was steaming hot and filled with chicken, cheese, avocado, corn, carrots and other veggies. the soup was excellent and getting though a bowl took a little time. on the side were two hot tortillas. my spouse ordered the chicken taco salad which was crisp greens and a lot of white meat chicken. she advised it too was delicious. our glasses were kept topped off and we could not have ask for a better waiter. the prices are a little more than one might expect for lunch at a mexican restaurant in this area, but the food was well worth the small extra cost. chuy’s actually looks like a mexican restaurant from south of the boarder. parking around the restaurant is at a premium and there is limited parking on the street. this was one of the best lunch meals at a mexican restaurant we have had in a vey long time.

finally a decent texmex restaurant. moving from texas to okc i miss the abundance of amazing texmex restaurants. i ate at chuys in texas many times and i would say it's average to above average for texas standards. however, now living in ok, it's at the top of my list. for whatever reason, many people here associate free cups of powdered queso and tortillas as being the "best" texmex food, im certain you know the other texmex restaurant i'm referring to. chuys has amazingsalsafresca and creamy jalapeno ranch. the queso is just ok and the tortillas are excellent. while they do have hatch green chile dishes available in season, i hardly label chuys as new mexico style mexican food. queso and fajitas are texmex...try ordering queso at traditional, new mexico or baja mexican establishments and you will be served a plate of grated or melted cheese, not queso. all in all, you won't be dissapointed in the food. as far as service goes, i always give restaurants a few shots if the food is good. while i've never had bad service here, it's bound to happen sooner or later as most servers/hostesses are college aged kids no pursuing a career in waiting tables.
