the food was outstanding. went there for lunch. price was right and every part of the meal was amazing. recommend thisrestaurantto everyone

everything was as expected until we were sat at our table. normal wait time and we were comfortable while we waited on our table. then it was like they forgot we were there. we ordered drinks and then had to wait at least 20 minutes to have our server come back so we could order our food. meanwhile, as i'm looking around for our server i see a young man walking around the restraint like he was lost, he would gaze around the room and look important, i try to flag him over since i figured he must have worked there and all he ended up doing was giving me a blank stare. so after waiting for our server to comeback with our food (which was overcooked) and then asking for our check (which also took an additional 20 min, we left and asked to speak to a manager and were greeted by the young man who appeared lost. he showed very little concern and was also very dry. i would not recommend thisrestaurantto my worst enemy. it wasn't a horrible place it was just annoying and seemed more pike a chore than a relaxing evening with my date.

excellent dining, food, service, atmosphere. we have been looking for a good italianrestaurantsince moving here to cape coral and this is the place. chicken piccata another great choice.

(if i could give 0 stars for this review, i would.) i am beyond disappointed in my experience at my neighborhoodrestaurantthis evening. after being quoted a 15 minute wait time for a simple takeout order i still gave it 25 minutes until i picked it up knowing that sometimes these wait times are underestimated. to my surprise and dismay, not only was my food not ready, it took an additional 35 minutes of me waiting in my car after therestaurantquoted the ready time to go back in and see that it was "ready". except it wasn't. an entire meal was missed by two meatballs pushing our wait time out another 20 minutes. a 1 hour 15 minute takeout wait time for 4 meals? obnoxious. a 1 hour 15 minute takeout wait time for 4 meals and the owner not being accommodating and at the same time being condescending and rude? unacceptable. as a veteran of the service industry i understand that things happen. a lot. but to offer a $25 gift card on an $80 takeout order after the owner was overly aggressive and obscene toward a weekly patron? unreal. quite frankly, it was unbelievable; not only to myself, but also to other customers who overheard the exchange. we will be gifting our $25 credit and taking our business to other more delicious and deserving local restaurants. good riddance.

terrible service. my boyfriend loves this place, he brought my daughter and i here for dinner one night and earned us that the service was terrible but the food is always worth it. so going into therestauranti expected bad service, but i was not prepared to eat under cooked fish. i ordered the tilapia mia bella, the presentation was sloppy, the fish was raw, and the waitress couldn't have cared less. she did not check on us once, avoided my repeated attempts to get her attention, and when she brought the bill she promptly fled before i could say anything to her. our bill was over $100. i called therestaurantthe next day hoping the owner would care to know about the complaint for future improvement, but he was just as rude as the waitress. i would not recommend this place to anyone.

skinny italian pasta. delicious, it was do good that i called therestaurantthe next day to try and get the recipe.

two meatballs in the kitchen is an italian-themedrestaurantin fort myers, fl . i had heard from my dining companion that day that they had a good happy hour. crowds are a promising sign, and there certainly was one in both therestaurantand bar area.

i ordered the spaghetti and got two meatballs. because this was two meatballs in the kitchen i assumed, my mistake, that the meatballs were something that was original to this restaurant.
the meatballs tasted like they were more sawdust than hamburger. i ordered two extra meatballs for a possible leftover lunch.
i choked down one of the meatballs but threw out the other three.

i ate here last wed night. i was seated quickly and the waitstaff were pleasant. my salad arrived quickly and was for the most part good. the tomato pieces in the salad were pretty mushy and not good. i chose the veal parmesan and was not very hot when it arrived at my table. my linguine was hot which was with it. the flavor was ok although i have definitely had better veal parm. i
don't think i will suggest the veal although therestaurantwas crowded and all seemed to be enjoying their meals. i may try again this week to form a final decision on this restaurant.

bad bad bad. still the worst food and service in anyrestauranti've ever been to. at least they're consistant at something!!!!!!

horrible. claims to be authentic italian cuisine. if this is italian i'll eat my shoe. the only redeaming quality for thisrestaurantwas the waitress, the decor, the cleanliness, and the wine. their pick of the house pinot grigio is excellent and our waitress was excellent. the food is horrible, the tomato sauce came out of a campbell's soup can and the lasagna was so bad that they hid it in a huge glob of mozzarella cheese (i mean it melted to about a half inch thick and spread to about 10 inches wide) and then put so much sauce over that that i wasn't sure what was under it. the house salad dressing tasted like oil with too much french's mustard mixed together. the pasta fagiole soup had to have been, again, campbell's tomato soup mixed with a can of baked beans and then threw in some carrots and ditalini pasta to make it look authentic. the meatballs in the mama's pasta tasted like the frozen meatballs in the bag at costco. i can't believe anyone with true italian heritage would consider this slop food. don't waste your time, money or gas on this place.

great night. my date and i loved this place, we shared the gianna salad which was plenty for two, then thought we would try the pizza, it came out piping hot and delicious , we ordered one entree to split but after eating the pizza we were wondering if we should have, being were feeling pretty stuffed, once the entree came out we took. one look and felt like we had a little more room, the salmon picatta was amazing, all in all this was a great little neighborhoodrestaurantwe will recommend to all our friends

just so so. my first visit to thisrestaurantand sorry to say, that i was not impressed. our waitress seemed to have too many tables to take care of and seemed a bit grouchy. my entree was good, but nothing noteworthy. i was very dissapointed to find out that they offered no homeade desserts. i would rate thisrestauranta 7.

nothing to write home about. i dined for lunch at this local establishment with several other friends. the wait time was minimal and we were seated promptly, however it may have been because therestaurantwas empty. i placed my order for the three meatball appetizer. it came out quickly and looked decent. when i first bit into the mass of meat i couldn't believe how absolutely flavorless it was. the rolls served along with it were a bit hard and were dripping in evoo which would have been fine if cheese and garlic had been added to the mixture. i had ordered the calzone and when it arrived i noted that it was plum full of hot melted cheeses (i hope you like ricotta!) and served with a side of luke warm marinara. it wasn't anything i would ever need to try again in this lifetime, but it wasn't terrible. my fiancé tried the tortellini maria. she seemed to enjoy her dish more so than i enjoyed mine. i tried a taste of her pasta and it seemed way too overcooked. the service in the beginning was fantastic but deteriorated once we were ready to pay for the bill. the server waited 15 minutes to come back for our checks and upon their return, had a complete attitude with a few friends who joined us (all of which weren't very excited about their meals either).

note to server: at the end of a guests meal is your last time to shine and also receive a decent tip!!!! apparently they missed this section of the "servers guide to happy guests." this left the lasting impression for all of us not to return to this mediocre dive. you can bet that these 8 people will be joining the ranks of patrons that won't be dining with you again.

saw all the reviews and thought. we have read many reviews of this up and coming fun littlerestaurantunfortunately the magic and enthusiasm from the early days of opening may have worn off. we dined late on saturday night 7/02. therestaurantwas winding down maybe one third occupied. the menu looked good from a variety of items we tried two items the pizza salad and a chicken with mushroom and pea alfredo. the pizza arrived about 25 minutes after ordering along wiht the pasta dish. the pizza crust was crisp and well served with a pesto base. the chicken dish was a little bland chicken was just chunky and unseasoned and the mushrooms were cut so thick they were still raw inside not cooked through. the service time was attentive at first then was lost through the remainder of our dinner. we arrived and were seated by 840 pm and finally were given attention for our check and leftover boxes by 945. considering we came in for a quick bite to try after being in orlando all day it was anything but. sorry two meatballs but our adventure ended up with a no return in sight planned. hope you can get back to what everyone was writing about when i first heard of your establishment.
