excellent dining, food, service, atmosphere. we have been looking for a good italian restaurant since moving here to cape coral and this is the place. chicken piccata anothergreatchoice.

take out 2 pizzas & meatball app $53.00 what?. ordered 2 specialty pizzas from their website menu, which was outdated and the original one i wanted wasn't available so they substituted and charged me per topping on both the grilled chicken on the pies was so dry you couldn't choke it down, the dough was hard and the meatballs came with garlic knots which were so hard and stale you couldn't eat them. when we questioned them why each pizza was 21.50 a pizza we were told they rang it up at the best price possible, a specialty pizza is only 18.95. them the guy who was ringing up the ticket opens the pizza box and says"this is what you got" as if it was the best pizza in town and then proceeded to tell us he thought we got agreatdeal on the pizzas. it only too me 15 minutes to get there to pick it up at the time they specified the pizzas were also cold. will never go back i suggest everyone avoid that place papa johns is way better, how sad!

2 meatballs = 1greatnight out. we haven't been back to two meatballs since they moved to this location but i can promise you that we will be back soon. the four of us all had different dishes and all were very happy with their meals. the service wasgreatand we all had enough in portion size that we left full and still took food home, not that we use that as a measure of weather the food is good.
we will be going back and it will be soon.

great food andgreatservice!. 4 of us had a business lunch there about a week ago. we had all had the food before and always liked it, but 3 of us had never eaten there, just had carry out. we like the atmosphere, the food was great, as always! dee was our server and she took such good care of us.

the times we have done carry out was to serve groups of 15-20. the food is consistently delicious. paul and sal always offergreatmenu suggestions. we look forward to the next time we can dine in or carry out.greatjob!

food... "meh." service... "meh.". i ate there yesterday for the first time after hearing a stellar recommendation. i went to meet a friend, and immediately upon entering, there were about 5 or 6 hostesses (why so many? it was 4:00 pm, there were only a few other diners present) who provided no greeting whatsoever. after i found the friend that i was meeting with, i was never offered a drink besides water, and i waited far too long for my order to be taken. this surprised me, because there were so few other diners in the restaurant, and there was plenty of staff on hand. overall, the food wasn't terrible but it wasn'tgreateither. we were given garlic knots for free, which were hard and stale. i ordered the fried mozzarella squares appetizer, which was served over warm lettuce... just not a good combination. i usually try to contact an establishment via email prior to publicly posting a review, but there was no email contact on the website.

i probably won't be back.

hats off to staff!. since home once more, have had the pleasure to dine in at least 5 x's, every experience has been better than the last...servers r friendly/attentive, food is never a disappointment, also, a welcome gesture to locals, they have been offering agreat2 for $20 menu during off-season weekdays, which includes a choice of appetizer~so happy to know we have agreatplace to dine, that's close by, when we r home.

still as good as i remember.... while home, as usual for me, i go in for the mussels in grandma's lemon butter sauce w/a wonderfully prepared salad & very yummy parmesan garlic rolls...nothing to complain abt except for the soap opera on the tv by the bar...i asked them to change it & they did. i do have to defend the young servers, i have had wonderful service from some. in the past, i have noticed some slackness, but overall it doesn't deter me & will return when back home next month! young people r still learning and that means we have to be a little patient and maybe they'll take a hint from the size of their tip or read these reviews.

not as good as we had hoped :-(. we had heard that this was agreatitalian place with reasonable prices, so we thought we would give it a try. the place was crowded and very loud!!! i believe they were playing music, but could not hear it over all the noise. very poor acoustics. nice place if you are with a group, but not so nice if you are looking for a quiet, romantic place where you can talk. service was fair.
disappointed in the food.....rolls were warm and very garlicy and the calzone was so loaded with cheese that it was disgustingly cheesy. i know that sounds strange, but it just wasn't for us. my husband got the lasagna and although it was a large portion, it really wasn't that good. don't think we'll go back there :-(

new favorite dish. i ate at two meatballs on saturday. i had gina's favorite chicken. let me tell you, it's now my favorite chicken. two chicken breasts served on a bed of lemon butter farfalle and topped with goat cheese. it was legen....dary! i will definitely be back many more times. service wasgreatatmosphere wasgreattoo! such agreatplace to eat. oh and another thing-- when looking at the prices i was a little worried, but good lord are their portions huge. i had my leftovers for dinner and i'm stuffed!

great food,greatservice!. okay, i loved the name and always wanted to stop there and eat. i thought the food and the service was wonderful. the sauce they used was just like i used to get in the bronx. how can you beat that? although i am from michigan and not italy or an italian neighborhood, i felt as if once again i could enjoy the best spaghetti right from italy without the trip!

never have i ever had suchgreatservice with the worst food in the world. second time that i have visited and won't go back for a third. i complained to the young man who appeared to be the manager, all i can say about him was that he dressed appropriate for the role. i told him my food was cold and he literally shrugged!! i think the only one with brains in that place was my server was great. amanda or ashley, i can't remember. to the manager who didn't know what he was doing, thank you for making my decision of never coming back so easy.

super service & food. we had been told howgreatthe food was. last night we went for dinner. brian had sal's favorite pasta and i had house favorite angle hair & sausage. the food was unreal and the service was the best in ft. myers, our server was alex basile, he was the bar tender and no one at the bar ever wanted for anything plus most people ate at the bar they were so crowded. thanks again alex...

bread w oil and cheese. tonight we went out to dinner, this palce is great, super food, service, had sals favorite pasta, house favorite with sausage, we ate at the bar and our bartender aka server was alex basile, he wasgreatfast service with a smile. we will be back!!!!

always great!. today was about the 5th time i've done a large carry out order to cater a luncheon for clients. every single time the food has been wonderful. sal and alex always help makegreatsuggestions w/ selecting the menu. when i pick it up i always know i don't even have to check anything. i've never had a mistake or anything left out as far as utensils, food or any details. i have had large chains forget serving utensils and it's not fun. my clients always want to know where the food came from and can't wait to go there themselves. i have never had the pizza, but several of my clients also had pizza catered for a class and they said it's wonderful! the food and the service has always exceeded my expectations and been a big hit with my clients. will be using them for the same purpose in september and hopefully, actually eating there with friends very soon!
