it was hard to find but well worth the effort. everything from the garlic break to dessert was great. inexpensive but good enough to be in the heart of manhattan.

a great place for great food.. two meatballs in the kitchen has the perfect combination of charm, atmosphere, and service. i started with the house salad which had a home made italian vinaigrette that was absolutely amazing. as my main dish i had the alfredo's friend nick, aka the chicken alfredo. both servings where just perfect. the service was wonderful as well, considering that there was only one server at the time. two meatballs in the kitchen is a great place to eat when you want to have a good meal with a good friend.

the whole family had great meals. 3 had the shrimp special,1 had the veal marsala special, 1 had the mushroom ravioli and 1the alfredo. all where fantastic. we would all go back.

after much difficulty found this remarcable gastronomic pleasureable restaurant! i chose the chicken marsalla& dad chose the mushroom raviollis. both were extraordinary! this i say as i am extremely picky about the quality and preparation of food. living in ca. i am acustomef to well / properly prepared food. trust me on this one .. it's a winner!!

best meal ever!. i moved from nj six years ago to the sarasota area and have yet to find decent italian food and cooking gets old. last night for my husband's birthday we visited my aunt & uncle and they took us to two meatballs. as soon as i walked in the smell and "feel" was like i was in nyc. we started off with fried calamari and pizza. the pizza taste was close to the famous lomardi's, with a perfect thin chewy crust. they don't have a brick oven but this was perfect pizza. our main dinners were all mouth watering. our server was attentive without being on top of us. only problem is we live 1.5 hours away and i already have a craving to go back.

the food is real italian. we went with four and each tried something different. no one was dissapointed. the wine was extremely reasonable. and homemade chocolate cake, simple but delicious. loved the family feel, it was obvious that the staff was a great mixture of family, friends, and love interests. (junior - if you read this, you better buy sarah flowers for the prom!)
