fbcs was so disappointing: staff was rude, service slow, and food completely subpar and overpriced. they made a gross cocktail but the manager, the only redeeming quality of the restaurant, removed it from our work bill. go to surf bar, ritas, or others on fb.

had the peel and eat shrimp, while very tasty they were very small and were the most difficult to peel shrimp i have ever had. a decent pulled pork sandwich. service was adequate.

best steamer ever. i started going here in starting in the mid 90,s when it was a shack. now it's a grand place to go. the food has stayed the same it is geat. if you like cold beer, jimmy buffett, and the best steamed seafood ever then give this lace a try. you will love it.

my wife and i shared a low country boil and a bowl of clam chowder. this was plenty to eat for us. we enjoyed the food and service. the shrimp are milder than the ms/la style we are accustomed to. also the chowder is different from the ne style chowder, but very good. it may have had some cheese added. the place is aptly named.

best shrimp ever! it takes a little work to get through the platter, but is so very worth it. sit with rene at the bar, she is the best!!!!!

crap shack. do not patronize this hole.. went with my wife, father, and 5-year-old daughter. food sucked: everything was obviously frozen, nothing fresh. shrimp so mushy they couldn't be peeled. corn was like yellow mud smeared on a used cob. potatoes so salty they were inedible. all-bread frozen deviled crab. all for ridiculously high price....we were stunned and insulted by the check. waitress was surly, and, to top it off, my wife and daughter encountered a drunk guy pissing in the women's restroom. nice.

we usually go to rita's, but we wanted to try something new. we visited the crab shack, our waitress was fabulous! there were three guests in my party and three out of three entrees were not done, our steamed oysters were not steamed at all, actually they were as raw as our raw ones! great atmosphere, great service but the food did leave somethingto be ddesired. sorry guys just not up to standard!

lunch stop. their crab soup and shrimp burgers are the best i've ever eaten. well worth the stop of you are in the neighborhood.

will return again for crabs and shrimp

nice for a quick meal. we stopped at folly beach crab shack after a day visiting magnolia plantation and driving around the area. the seafood was good, family friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. my husband ordered the captain's platter and i had the fried shrimp. the food was nicely crisp, fresh and the fries were not soggy. the waitress was very polite and was very attentive. overall, not a bad place to stop after a day's outing for a decent seafood meal.

nice place for a quick lunch. my family and i stopped in here for a quick lunch on a day trip to the beach. the server was very friendly and checked on us regularly without hovering too much. it's a very laidback atmosphere and very kid friendly. the food was good and portions were large. i can't honestly say there was anything spectacularly good about the food but it was good. we will go back when in fb again.
