always a favorite. i'm not crazy about the other crab shack's in the area but the one on folly has me hooked. they've got great hushpuppies and the rare, rare, rare ahi tuna is extraordinarily good. grab a cold beer, eat a bucket of oysters and enjoy the beach the way it's intended.

food was good but was very disapointed that everything was served in/on syrofoam, plastic utensil as well. i would never go back until that changes.

outdoor eating. if your from the city and want to experience the low country of ga, this is the spot. it's located on a sandy dirt road under the spanish moss trees. this is savannah at it's best. the only way to eat a low country boil is outside. the food is pretty good and not a bad price for the view of being outside on the water...

loved it!. this place is fantastic, and i'm saying this after a weekend of amazing savannah food, too. portions are generous. we got the low country boil for two, and it made a perfect light lunch for three. the atmosphere is great, with a big airy deck looking over the bay, and you can feed the alligators in the pen out front if that's your thing. touristy? maybe a little, but still well worth visiting for your seafood fix.

loved this place!. had such a great time here! it was a bit chilly so we loved the fires they had outside. kept us toasty, but seemed a little dangerous. we ordered the deviled crab which was really good & the low country boil for 2...which was fantastic is way too much food for 2 people! i suggest couples split the country boil for 1. everything was very tasty & fresh. we loved the laid back vibe here....sirius being piped in was a nice touch. will definitely return next time in savannah!

horrible!! tourist trap with unbelievably bad service. don't waste your time. go to sundae cafe if you want great food and service.

great location, views and setting both day and night, very dramatic when it's windy. very prompt, pleasant (and pretty) waiting staff. i noticed scotty's comment about the pulled pork. it's not called the crab shack by coincidence. anywhere with bbq in the name might be better for pulled pork. my only complaint is drinking a $6 margarita from a salted styrofoam cup. i just wish they could stretch to real glasses.

tourist trap. what a joke, there is a reason they have to attract tourists with alligators and billboards. i was annoyed & somewhat entertained by the kidsize portions. i had the pork "platter" which consists of nothing more than a spoon of pulled pork, a single slice of bread and a piece of corn on the cobb that was about 1.5 inches long. i immediately questioned the waitress if i had ordered a kids meal, she replied that no one comes here for the food, it is the atmosphere! our 4 top spent a combined 150 on our meal and 3 of us left hungry. save your time and money and go to sundae's cafe

fun, outdoor dining. this is a great place to take the family for a casual, outdoor dining experience. boiled shrimp and clam chowder are excellent; i'd recommend splitting cap'n crab sampler or the low country boil.

make sure to stop by and feed the gators before heading home.

after a rocky start (bad mixup with the wait staff) the experience turned out well! the atmosphere is great... ralph the waiter is wonderful and the food is fantastic! prices to fit every wallet, and the seafood platter is enough for 4 people!!! would definitely eat here again!

loved it! we had a great time. definitely go with the seafood platter. best snowcrab i've ever had, and i've had a lot. great atmosphere!!!
