best steamer ever. i started going here in starting in the mid 90,s when it was a shack. now it's a grand place to go. the food has stayed the same it is geat. if you like cold beer, jimmy buffett, and the best steamedseafoodever then give this lace a try. you will love it.

nice for a quick meal. we stopped at folly beach crab shack after a day visiting magnolia plantation and driving around the area. theseafoodwas good, family friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. my husband ordered the captain's platter and i had the fried shrimp. the food was nicely crisp, fresh and the fries were not soggy. the waitress was very polite and was very attentive. overall, not a bad place to stop after a day's outing for a decentseafoodmeal.

so much food!. my husband and i enjoyed theseafoodplatter for two, which included an array of alaskan crab legs (my fave), jonah crab claws, shrimp, crawfish, mussels, corn, sausage and potatoes. if you have a party of three, this is definitely enough food for three. we were stuffed!

i've come here throughout the years and always enjoy the mix of delicious seafood.

it was good, not great. everyone at the table orderedseafoodand wasn't overly impressed with it considering it's on the coast. i got the bbq pork sandwich and wasn't impressed with it at all. i know that's what i get for going to aseafoodplace and not orderingseafoodbut for someone that doesn't like seafood, i was disappointed with my options. also felt like the restaurant could use a good cleaning and update.

decided to eat someseafoodwhile at folly beach. hit the crab shack and got their "marsh madness" special - a bucket of shrimp, mussels, and clams served with potatoes and corn. my son got a similar bucket with crab. my wife decided on the coconut shrimp. overall the buckets were pretty good. a bit spendy - especially the crab. the coconut shrimp was just ok. shrimp were good, but sides were not very good. buckets were tasty, but the corn was waaaaaay over cooked. the service was a bit slow. although we enjoyed our meals, i would try a different spot next time.

so wish i was back here today on this horrible weather day in ireland. the weather was amazing and theseafoodplatter was so fresh and tasty. staff were like all american service staff, friendly and helpful. if you are in savannah this place is a must. a taste and atmosphere of the deep south.

fun atmosphere for all types. great small lunch specials for 7.99 wseafoodand soup. the stew was yummy and next time i will come back and try the larger samplers. cats cats cats and wonderful fun atmosphere while watching the boats on the docks! bring the family after the beach.

atmosphere is a 5.0. located on marsh with outdoor seating under the canopy of big live oaks, and looking over the water. very infromal and super fun. also have an exhibit of live alligators which is great for the kiddos. however the menu is small and the food is not anything too special. mostly buckets ofseafoodlike shrimp, oysters and sausage. we would be there all the time if their menu was a little better.

well... the best coastal hog point with a view of back waters and a must visit place. attendants were very generous and kind in taking care if the customers.
let me come back to fooooddd... it's fresh and yummy. if you are a sea food lover then this is the place. we have ordered theseafoodplatter for single which was enough for 3 people and a pork rib which was cooked well. devil crab and prawns were cooked fresh. the best part at this place is you can feed the baby alligators by checking with the management.

this is an absolutely outstandingseafoodrestaurant with all of the wonderful beach ambiance. the food is 4+ stars out of 5 stars. the service was 5 stars. all of the food that i had and my guest ate was correctly seasoned with  the proper portions.the atmosphere is laidback and unpretentious, but the wait staff and bartenders keep a watchful eye out for their customers in seeing that they lack nothing to hinder having a wonderful dining experience. i also keenly noticed that they also anticipated their customers needs correctly before i could request something. i was told ron hill is a long time restaurateur at some of charleston's excellentseafoodestablishments and both his training and experience rise up to and beyond the task of providing a most welcomed experience of dining out. just wish i could pack up this place and take it home. .respectfully, don bradley (formerly from orangeburg now from goose creek)well done mr. hill and you wonderful restaurant staff !!!. .

my husband and i ate here after a day at the beach. we came right before dinner, which was perfect! the outdoor patio was breezy as we sipped on frozen drinks and ate peanuts. we got a crab and shrimp bucket (about $42) and the drinks were about $7 each. not too bad...but that is pretty typical for a touristy beachseafoodjoint. this is a great spot if you're in the area, but nothing to drive out of your way for.

very cool place! we went here forseafoodand that's what we got! we ordered the sampler for 2 and it was enough to feed 6! very generous portions for a great price! they also have gators you can feed and a bird house with exotic birds. the atmosphere was very cool and exactly the kind of vibe you want when visiting the beach!

i thought it was a little pricey and they had a pretty small menu. we ordered the meal for two and it was a lot of food. theseafoodwas good. i wasn't a huge fan of the sausage that it came with. it did have a pretty cool atmosphere and they have alligators out front that you can look at which is fun for kids! definitely a touristy-type restaurant.
