loin pork in orange soy on mash. the entire meal was excellent, never tasted nicer pork and the vegies were awesome. this along with fresh bread and lovelyservicemade for a great experience

no complaints.servicewas more traditional pub with orders taken at the front but the tableserviceseem to work well. lamb shanks was the best part of the meal. worth a revisit in the future.

delighted with the meal as the roast was impeccable. feels like a warm country pub.servicecould have been a bit quicker but the wait wasn't outrageously long.

not a pleasant place to visit. expected the price of the food to be on par with the decor (old-fashioned) and theservicebut it was more expensive than other places along the main drag. place is reminiscent of an rsl. the only thing they bring you is your meals, everything else is serve yourself. for a “bistro” and the prices i paid for a steak ($35) i would have liked some tableservicerather than being told i’d have to make my way to the adjacent bar for water. when i went to said bar, i found myself in the middle of a nasty fight between one of the waitresses and one of the bartenders. the waitress was screaming at the bartender, yelling profanities. patrons were stunned. in terms of the food, my meal was average at best. never going back.

ahhh stellas , a dromana icon....maybe 20years ago , wandered over from the beach for a cold one with my mate phil from woori yallock and ended up getting the quinella on race 2...decided to celebrate by shouting ole mate a steak dinner....the fillets were rougher than ***s , chips soggy the only saving grace was the mushroom sauce , thick and gravy like with an abundance of mushrooms! can’t rave enough about theservicei must admit , staff are absolutely fantastic and will go back just for them and a cold one ....you can repaint it every year if you like but fix ur menu first

great bar, pretty goodserviceand the food was excellent. the chicken salad came with this amazing side sauce which gave the dish extra flavour. only issue was that it was a bit hot in the bistro but the waitress explained that the area was having a blackout. ten out of ten.

we had dinner at stella's bistro on a wednesday night. theserviceis friendly as and very accommodating! we ordered the surf and turf, for $32 being from perth it was great value. the meat was cooked well, wasn't rested properly but the sauce was nice. salad and chips were standard pub grub. the waitress brought us out a nice big piece of sticky date covered with sauce. it was bangin and she was lovely. good pub grub!!

worst meal i've had in a while. food was quite expensive for a pub bistro, about $30 for most mains. the portions were small. both chicken and fish tasted like they had been frozen for a long time and lacked any flavour. steak was ok, and chips were good (not enough of them though).servicewas quite poor, when i politely asked the waiter for some tomato sauce he just looked at me then walked away without saying a word. i think the key thing was the prices though, a lot could be forgiven at a lower price, but when paying $30 for a parma i expect fresh tasty food and polite service.
it is a big shame because it is a beautiful building right on the beach. won't be going back

poorservice(actually no service), goind our own table, menus, 5+ staff walked past with no acknowledgement. lamb racks rubbery and overcooked, medium rare steak came well done. no wonder staff didnt ask how meal was. when giving feedback felt it was falling on deaf ears. not returning and first ever time have felt stronv enough to post a review.

no no no. overcooked veggies to the point of inedible. lumpy mash and overcooked frozen peas. we stopped cooking rack of lamb past medium in this country years ago and medium rare to medium would be more preferable. presentation is akin with the pub food of the seventies and no love is in the food or the attitude to being involved with food,serviceis poor. to the waitress who asked if we were finished because she wanted to close her till how about offering the dessert menu or an option then give me your problems.

pizza was awful, theservicewas woeful, and we were the only ones there! avoid!!

took my son & sister her over the long weekend we ate in the front section on the friday night and everything was lovely steak cooked perfectly, parma was lovely & roast of the day was beautiful. as we were all happy decided to go back on the sunday and were told only the bistro was open meaning you pay between $3 & $6 more for the same meals, sameservice& same chefs confused much. i had a rack of lamb that i couldn't eat as it was so under cooked i'm surprised it didn't run off the plate, let alone after recieving my meal being told they had ran out of mint jelly and when i asked for some gravy instead i thought the waitress had gone to buy and make it herself all round my meal was not ediable. however for the $30 i payed for my meal they were kind enough to shout me a $5 mars bar cake dessert that i think had been in the fridge way past the use by date. my son still enjoyed his steak and was kind enough to share it with me. my sister had the seafood platter that we think someone forgot to put the scallops on and the crab & bug were frozen then defrosted extremly dissappointed and when in dromana next would opt to eat at the drive in before returning here. food 1/10service1/10 beverage range 2/10 save your money.

avoid avoid avoid!. i'm a dromana resident. when a local can't even stand his own local pub, there is something wrong.

service is shocking to non-existent. only really once or twice have i hadservicewhich is acceptable here.

food is appalling. you wouldn't pay $2 for the food here, little the @20 and upwards they sometimes ask.

for a pub in a winery town, their selection of wines and spirits is also lacking. can't even get pissed at my local.

nope, if you walk 50 metres down the street, the bigger, nicer and better serviced d'alia's restaurant will always be a better bet.
