a first-rate mothers day lunch. lunch on mother’s day was very busy, they seem to handle the rush quite well. the food was exceptional and staff were surprisingly young but very polite. some more micro brew would be nice but thebaroffered a large choice.

without doubt the worst customer service ever experienced
bartenders at thebarand the restaurant area had virtually no customer service whatsoever
went the first time and the rudeness was incredible
thought of giving a second chance and went again
incredibly same poor non existent customer service skills
try to be friendly and nothing but short sharp answers in return and zero care
beyond belief how this can occur

typical pub fare you would expect. nothing fancy but done well. the spaghetti was delicious but was too big for me to finish. thebarstaff were particularly friendly.

not a pleasant place to visit. expected the price of the food to be on par with the decor (old-fashioned) and the service but it was more expensive than other places along the main drag. place is reminiscent of an rsl. the only thing they bring you is your meals, everything else is serve yourself. for a “bistro” and the prices i paid for a steak ($35) i would have liked some table service rather than being told i’d have to make my way to the adjacentbarfor water. when i went to said bar, i found myself in the middle of a nasty fight between one of the waitresses and one of the bartenders. the waitress was screaming at the bartender, yelling profanities. patrons were stunned. in terms of the food, my meal was average at best. never going back.

what a great place to have something to eat and have a drink! a big call out to the nice blonde lady at thebarwho made us feel welcome, good to see such warm customer service.

came to watch a bit of sports at thebarand had a good time. friendlybarstaff that are happy to have a chat to a solo patron. stayed longer than expected and enjoyed the chicken parmigiana

yummy pub style food. the location close to the beach adds to the experience. outdoor setting is really only for the outdoorbarwhich is a shame. inside had a good view which made up for it.

tasty dinner. an enjoyable serving of pasta at a decent price. the view of the bay with the sunset was very cool. as the pub is quite big we didn't know if we were entering the right way to the bistro....but we found our way with some help from the staff. bigbarwith lots of drinks.

a great hotel. been here a few times and find it serves good food, we have always left happy. the specials change quite often so it's worth asking. we tend to sit in the back room with the glass roof but the frontbaris also a good option.

a smile wouldb nice. thank god the beers nice and cold in the pub that where it stops!!!! the staff are miserable , a smile would b nice and one other thing to that bitch of a waitress dont through the food on the table like ur feeding dogs. i asked for the manager to complain and mr wanker behind thebarsaid he had gone home.

happy we came across this hotel. a quality meal that included a chicken pocket and a parmigiana. an impressive range of drinks at thebarthat included wine and beer. nice atmosphere and a pleasant lunch on a friday afternoon.

bistro meal.. an old style pub across the water in dromana. a large range of drinks at thebarwas served by a nice man. the lamb chops i ordered were very good. my wife had the scallops and was also very happy with the meal. not expensive considering the size of the dishes.

took my son & sister her over the long weekend we ate in the front section on the friday night and everything was lovely steak cooked perfectly, parma was lovely & roast of the day was beautiful. as we were all happy decided to go back on the sunday and were told only the bistro was open meaning you pay between $3 & $6 more for the same meals, same service & same chefs confused much. i had a rack of lamb that i couldn't eat as it was so under cooked i'm surprised it didn't run off the plate, let alone after recieving my meal being told they had ran out of mint jelly and when i asked for some gravy instead i thought the waitress had gone to buy and make it herself all round my meal was not ediable. however for the $30 i payed for my meal they were kind enough to shout me a $5 marsbarcake dessert that i think had been in the fridge way past the use by date. my son still enjoyed his steak and was kind enough to share it with me. my sister had the seafood platter that we think someone forgot to put the scallops on and the crab & bug were frozen then defrosted extremly dissappointed and when in dromana next would opt to eat at the drive in before returning here. food 1/10 service 1/10 beverage range 2/10 save your money.
