a good feed at good pub prices.. anicemeal on a cold melbourne day. the fish was cooked just right and was full of flavour. down to earth staff, not an upmarket pub but a good pub.

kid friendly.. it’sniceto see a pub so welcoming for families. a games room and a simple kids menu made life a lot easier for us. the adults enjoyed their meals and my salmon was wonderful.

a first-rate mothers day lunch. lunch on mother’s day was very busy, they seem to handle the rush quite well. the food was exceptional and staff were surprisingly young but very polite. some more micro brew would benicebut the bar offered a large choice.

a pub the caters for everyone including family’s and if you want to have a punt at the bar.nicescotch fillet and my friend liked the fish.

classic schnitzel and chips. i usually don't like gravy but this one was nice, it was not too salty. special mention to thenicelady serving us on tuesday afternoon.

either four or five stars. it gets five stars (just) due to theniceview from the front window. since it is a pub you order at the front but the food was good pub food.

what a great place to have something to eat and have a drink! a big call out to theniceblonde lady at the bar who made us feel welcome, good to see such warm customer service.

popped in here tonight after helping a friend move and this was recommended. super friendly staff that didn't make us feel bad for being there in work gear. we were seated right in front of the fire place and ordered the oysters natural and mornay, a fillet steak and rump steak. the oysters natural were absolutely spectacular and we should have left it at that as the mornay sauce just couldn't stand up to the oysters. my fillet steak would also have been a rockstar but not quite medium rare, hadn't been rested enough and had a big knife cut in it but was still good. came with a nicely dresses salad and chips were beautifully crisp. the little history lesson on the flyers on the tables about different regions of italy were anicetouch, my mum would have loved it!

good place for lunch or dinner, over the years the bistro food l seen has improved with better management of the bistro, in the hotel, so the prices are good, and the meal size and food has bene cooked very well, its anicequiet hotel, well worth a good hot meal and relax to beer or wine. being a historical building, you have to respect the hotel, in which the owner over the years has tried to maintain.

regularly visit this pub for it's no frills (but good) food. table next to open fire wasniceand on the sunnier days enjoy sitting in the sunshine.

accommodates well for families and is aniceplace to relax with the kids. came during school holidays and food was served quickly. generous size of gnocchi and loved the pizzas to share (thin base).

eighteen dollars for one of the best spaghetti bolognese i've had in a very long time.nicewine list was just a bonus. preferred to sit at the front with the view.

came on a friday night for a birthday and was a great place for a night out. food wasnicepub grub. the ambiance is good and the staff were very smiley even though waiting tables can be a tough job.

we had dinner at stella's bistro on a wednesday night. the service is friendly as and very accommodating! we ordered the surf and turf, for $32 being from perth it was great value. the meat was cooked well, wasn't rested properly but the sauce was nice. salad and chips were standard pub grub. the waitress brought us out anicebig piece of sticky date covered with sauce. it was bangin and she was lovely. good pub grub!!
