a good feed at goodpubprices.. a nice meal on a cold melbourne day. the fish was cooked just right and was full of flavour. down to earth staff, not an upmarketpubbut a good pub.

kid friendly.. it’s nice to see apubso welcoming for families. a games room and a simple kids menu made life a lot easier for us. the adults enjoyed their meals and my salmon was wonderful.

no complaints. service was more traditionalpubwith orders taken at the front but the table service seem to work well. lamb shanks was the best part of the meal. worth a revisit in the future.

not our day!. 10 of us went for lunch to dromana bistro and wernt impressed. orders took over 30min to arrive with scantily servings. a parma is $25.50 with no real fanfare.
the part that really made me want to write this review is what we found in my wifes meal. she ordered apubpie with peas and found a grub/caterpillar amongst the peas. the staff were very apologetic but the appetite was gone....
eye fillet was cooked to liking abd kids meals were the usual serving.
we won't be eating here again as we were then suspicious of all meals.

apubthe caters for everyone including family’s and if you want to have a punt at the bar. nice scotch fillet and my friend liked the fish.

typicalpubfare you would expect. nothing fancy but done well. the spaghetti was delicious but was too big for me to finish. the bar staff were particularly friendly.

my second time i visit here, reasonable / standard prices for a goodpublunch. lots of space which is a plus during covid and makes social distancing easy.

please do yourself a favour and do not go to this pub! the food is way below average! it is such a shame because thispubcould be something great. it just needs someone to take over it and give it some love! dromana needs apublike sorrento or portsea!

either four or five stars. it gets five stars (just) due to the nice view from the front window. since it is apubyou order at the front but the food was goodpubfood.

one of the best mushroom pasta dishes that i have had for quite a while. thepubwas very busy at this time of the year but our group managed to find a seat in the back room.

the meals were large, reasonably priced and more importantly enjoyed by the whole family. a great bistro to have a good valuepubstyle lunch.

huge old building which looks over the nepean highway to dromana beach on the bay. it’s very large inside with multiple eating areas across different rooms. the set out and decor is not unpleasant but it does feel a bit dated. i had the feeling it should be doing better business here than it was.

i liked the look of the bistro and propped there. i was going to order the mussels delmar - i love my mussels - but then saw the bouillabaisse listed as a special. going by the board the dish promised all sorts of extra seafood for an extra $5. i got brave and ordered it.

knock me down if the dish wasn’t really really good. we might be looking here at a chef who’s a bit bored withpubbistro staples and wants to stretch a bit to the classics. i’ve had bouillabaisse in numerous places around the globe including in the country of origin and i’d have to say this one was in the top half maybe even the top third. the flavours were lovely and it was evident the dish had been prepared and cooked with some care. importantly, the promise about the abundance of seafood was very real. the dish absolutely abounded with fish, prawns, mussels and other goodies and was good value for the price. it’s a generous dish without doubt and it’s well worth seeking out. i was very glad i ordered it.

this is not a high brow place but who cares. if the key test is good food, i certainly got that tonight. the place itself is fine as is the service. just avoid the gaming rooms i’d suggest. i wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again going on this experience.

yummypubstyle food. the location close to the beach adds to the experience. outdoor setting is really only for the outdoor bar which is a shame. inside had a good view which made up for it.

mediocre. tables and chairs were sticky, despite the fact we were the first people in for lunch. decor is very tired and ugly.
we had 4 different standardpubgrub meals and all were pretty greasy and gross. definitely won't be back.

well this place not only ticked the box for us because it had a play area to entertain the children, but it was affordable and yummy! not having to swallow your over sized pieces of food, in order to get the food down quicker, while your kids were breaking glasses and spilling drinks out of sheer boredom was a great start for us. they played while we ordered, first entree then mains and deserts. every meal that came out waspubsize portions but fresh and delicious. we had crumbed calamari to share for entree, mains were chicken parmigiana's while the kids had sausages and chips and the other lasagna and chips. the kids deserts were only $3 each so we couldn't deny them that. everything was just lovely and definitely what i love about apubmeal. the ambience was just cosy and warm. we will definitely go back in summer.
