agoodfeed atgoodpub prices.. a nice meal on a cold melbourne day. the fish was cooked just right and was full of flavour. down to earth staff, not an upmarket pub but agoodpub.

mobile review. the chicken parma hit the mark, i’m always happy when they put ham on the parma and usegoodtopping sauce. the salad was a bit bland though but chunky chips, not this american fries rubbish. still agoodmeal and would recommend this pub.

very happy. had a nice dinner, enjoyed my parma.goodserving size. my wife had the pasta and also enjoyed it. we will go back.

a handy bottleshop during lockdown. the lads are friendly and are always wearing a mask.goodspecials on most drinks.

nice meal with my wonderful family. the gaming room is very modern if you like to play pokie machines. also has agoodoutdoor smoking zone.

my second time i visit here, reasonable / standard prices for agoodpub lunch. lots of space which is a plus during covid and makes social distancing easy.

either four or five stars. it gets five stars (just) due to the nice view from the front window. since it is a pub you order at the front but the food wasgoodpub food.

what a great place to have something to eat and have a drink! a big call out to the nice blonde lady at the bar who made us feel welcome,goodto see such warm customer service.

came to watch a bit of sports at the bar and had agoodtime. friendly bar staff that are happy to have a chat to a solo patron. stayed longer than expected and enjoyed the chicken parmigiana

staff member recommended the lamb cutlet,goodrecommendation! never been here before and i thought it was a great hotel for a meal and drink.

the meals were large, reasonably priced and more importantly enjoyed by the whole family. a great bistro to have agoodvalue pub style lunch.

huge old building which looks over the nepean highway to dromana beach on the bay. it’s very large inside with multiple eating areas across different rooms. the set out and decor is not unpleasant but it does feel a bit dated. i had the feeling it should be doing better business here than it was.

i liked the look of the bistro and propped there. i was going to order the mussels delmar - i love my mussels - but then saw the bouillabaisse listed as a special. going by the board the dish promised all sorts of extra seafood for an extra $5. i got brave and ordered it.

knock me down if the dish wasn’t really really good. we might be looking here at a chef who’s a bit bored with pub bistro staples and wants to stretch a bit to the classics. i’ve had bouillabaisse in numerous places around the globe including in the country of origin and i’d have to say this one was in the top half maybe even the top third. the flavours were lovely and it was evident the dish had been prepared and cooked with some care. importantly, the promise about the abundance of seafood was very real. the dish absolutely abounded with fish, prawns, mussels and other goodies and wasgoodvalue for the price. it’s a generous dish without doubt and it’s well worth seeking out. i was very glad i ordered it.

this is not a high brow place but who cares. if the key test isgoodfood, i certainly got that tonight. the place itself is fine as is the service. just avoid the gaming rooms i’d suggest. i wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again going on this experience.

yummy pub style food. the location close to the beach adds to the experience. outdoor setting is really only for the outdoor bar which is a shame. inside had agoodview which made up for it.

good place for lunch or dinner, over the years the bistro food l seen has improved with better management of the bistro, in the hotel, so the prices are good, and the meal size and food has bene cooked very well, its a nice quiet hotel, well worth agoodhot meal and relax to beer or wine. being a historical building, you have to respect the hotel, in which the owner over the years has tried to maintain.

great bar, prettygoodservice and the food was excellent. the chicken salad came with this amazing side sauce which gave the dish extra flavour. only issue was that it was a bit hot in the bistro but the waitress explained that the area was having a blackout. ten out of ten.
