can't wait to go back, again and again. my husband, 2year old and i ate breakfast at kate's kitchen this morning after dropping my daughter off at prek. this was our second time here, the first being for lunch. (which was the best lunch i've had in years!!! and i'm pregnant and hard to please.)
i ordered the chicken fried chicken with eggs, hubby got the burrito and my son ordered the pancake w/sausage. amazing!!! this was the best breakfast ever. and after i finished my delightful chicken & eggs, i helped polish off my sons pancake he hadn't eaten.

this makes two great meals, with excellent customerserviceto boot.

we were there at 830am on a sunday, no waiting andservicewas fast. breakfast was amazing. good coffee, fresh eggs, bacon. the bisquits were big and fluffy. i ordered ronnie's french toast which was sour dough bread dipped in batter and grilled. delish. my only complaint is that it was cold in there which cooled down your meal too quickly.

this place is awesome. don't walk... run... to their breakfast. it was incredible.servicewas spot on and the food was beyond great. 4 of us and everyone raved. the friend that ordered the crab cakes benedict had a religious experience. can't say enough good anout this place. we will visit everytime we hit kc.

definitely going to return!. i came upon kate's kitchen online looking for restaurants near by my apt as i'm new in the area. the menu and prices were good, so i thought i'd check it out. the place was packed (which in my experience is an excellent sign).servicewas good, portion size was good, the food was fresh and good quality. it did not seem like processed food. and the price was excellent. with the quick and friendlyserviceand good quality food, i would definitely recommend stopping by sometime.

this little gem is tucked away in an assuming strip mall, it's bright blue sign (and the occasional line out the door) the only indication that the best home-cooking since, well, your mom's is hidden within.

this morning i enjoyed their chicken fried chicken, and it was far better than it had any right to be. my wife enjoyed their special of the day, a scrambler mixed with diced ham, bacon, eggs, and avocado slices. she ended up trading half her delicious meal for about a third of the chicken.

the atmosphere is simple but charming and theserviceis exceptionally quick and friendly. when asked for a recommendation from the menu, i felt like bailey (or waitress) had a genuine love for the food there, a refreshing change.

my goal is to never order the same thing twice there till i've sampled everything that looked appetizing, and i'll be suggesting it as a spot for lunch with my friends from here on.

wonderful. not sure where to begin... was visiting the area and was told that the food was really good so stopped by one morning for coffee and to pick up a menu. the owner was personable and went above and beyond to make my experience at kate's amazing. i went back for lunch and sat down. the waiter was the same as the owner- amazing customerserviceand super quick. i was in and out in 20 minutes and had to bring half of my lunch home with me bc the portions were so large. the next morning i made a to go order and ordered from the fitness corner menu and the crepes were to die for. bonus was that the calories were low. the owner again met me at the door and was super helpful and personable. i did not think places like this existed anymore. thanks to kate's kitchen for several great experiences.

nice family restaurant. mixed review the eggs bennedict were bad but thecaliforina fresh chicken sand and the pancakes were good. clean pleasent dinning roomservicewas ok but when we complained about the eggs bennedict and returned them uneaten to the kitchen the server just said sorry, nothing was done even when 2 of the 4 dinners left the restaurant unfeed !!!!!!! wow thats sad

top 5. everything to perfection, egg as i order, bacon some the best, hash brown potato crisp and velvet tender, the gravy out standing and the biscuits light and fluffy like no others. theservicewas good and the best bang for the buck

great food/great servide. we visited kate's kitchen after a recommendation from a family member. the biscuits are soft and so flaky--the best i've had around here (sorry corner cafe & first watch). theserviceis also excellent--they were so attentive, but not overly so. i will definitely be back and will recommend this place to all my family and friends. i want to try one of the the french toast options next time.

kate's serves up wonderful food. i've been to kate's kitchen about eight times since they opened and i have tried several different items on their menu. they never disappoint. their food is terrific and theirserviceis wonderful, too. obviously, the word has gotten around the northland that this is a great restaurant. you frequently have to wait a few minutes for a table because they're packed, but they're worth the wait. (this is always a telltale sign of a good restaurant: people will flock wherever there is good food.)
