wonderful experience. such a charming and cheerful atmosphere, awesome service, and an creative menu with affordable prices.
really i was quite surprised as this was no typical breakfast and lunch diner. the food was incredible and very original, not your same old bacon and eggs menu.
theplacewas clean, and the employees seem happy to serve you.
if you haven't eaten at kate's kitchen you should take a little time to treat yourself, i have no doubt once you have you feel as strongly as i do.

great food and service. we so needed thisplacenorth of the river. a clean and fresh atmosphere and always plesant help. the food is always fresh and presentation is always appetizing. we have eaten there many times and always enjoy our visit. never feel rushed even when you walk in at 1:30 pm being they close each day at 2. a must to visit for a great breakfast or lunch.

the food is delicious and their cinnamon rolls are the best part it's the best breakfastplacei've ever been to. their pancakes are really good especially with the berries.

this was a really greatplaceto meet up with a friend and have breakfast. the coffee kept coming, the food was good, and the prices really reasonable. i can see this being a saturday morning routine for us.

excellent fast and yum!. busy sun morning and food is coming out of the kitchen super fast. and it's good! always impressed with how fast it is, yet the servers aren't overly stressed just getting tables in and out. we'll runplaceand everyone who works here seams to care.

the best in kc for breakfast. every time we go to kate's kitchen the experience is wonderful. the food is always top notch and fresh. it is the oneplaceour family of 5 can unanimously decide to go with no arguments.

definitely going to return!. i came upon kate's kitchen online looking for restaurants near by my apt as i'm new in the area. the menu and prices were good, so i thought i'd check it out. theplacewas packed (which in my experience is an excellent sign). service was good, portion size was good, the food was fresh and good quality. it did not seem like processed food. and the price was excellent. with the quick and friendly service and good quality food, i would definitely recommend stopping by sometime.

amazing. the food, the service and the overall experience summed up in one word. i would recommend thisplaceto everyone. the service here is wonderful, all the servers treat you like family. the food is fantastic, everything on the menu tastes perfect.

great service...great food!. we tried thisplacetoday after the reccomendation of a friend....glad we did!! we had a wonderful server named jackie, and the food was great. the wait for the food was not long at all which was good having young children. if i am correct i did not see anything over $7.25 on the menu. i also love that the bottom of my reciept had a bible verse.....we will be returning here! the only change i would make is the hours of operation to be a bit longer.

great food/great servide. we visited kate's kitchen after a recommendation from a family member. the biscuits are soft and so flaky--the best i've had around here (sorry corner cafe & first watch). the service is also excellent--they were so attentive, but not overly so. i will definitely be back and will recommend thisplaceto all my family and friends. i want to try one of the the french toast options next time.

simply awesome. i used to go to first watch for breakfast for years...one day about three weeks ago i urged my husband to stop at kate's kitchen. my girlfriends from work love this place. we had this omelet our server suggested, the sunrise i think it's called. my husband was looking for something filling. our server suggested the chicken fried chicken. my daughter had the kids pancake and ham. our son (1yr) was very fussy. another server was passing by and looked over our table and played with the kids a moment. a few seconds later the two servers showed up at our table with fresh fruit and crackers for the kids at the same time! talk about service...our servers name was pat , he was such a very nice man. and the big muscular guy was named jim or joe...anyway, today we went back in and thisplacewas packed! we once again had pat as our server, he did not disappoint once again. the thing that was so surprising was the food was just as good as the first time even in all that chaos. the other man, jim/joe was running the cash register and he saw us in the crowd and came over and thanked us for coming back...he even remembered our daughters name and that she had told him she was going on a field trip, i was stunned...he told us the owner was back in the kitchen cooking, and how hard that man works to keep such a beautifulplacelike kate's running! another girl named soppua whan also stopped and said hi to the kids, and to top it all off the other owner joey, took our plates away in nothing flat...we spent less than $25 for our meals that will bring us back for a lifetime....you would not believe the smiles you get from the obviously professional staff...everyone should give thisplacea try...simply, awesome!!!!

awesome!!. if you and your family are looking for not a only a greatplaceto eat that serves delicious food, but aplacewhere you are made to feel extremely welcome, kate's kitchen is theplaceto be! the owners make you feel as if you are dining with them in their own home and work tirelessly to make sure you have a wow experience! this is by far one of the best places to eat in kc!!!

great breakfast, great service. went here for brunch with a couple friends. kate's is great, good homemade food and really friendly service. theplacewas busy on a sunday morning so you might have to wait.

i got the breakfast banana split (basically, fruit, banana, yogurt, etc.), it was served up just like a banana split and full of fresh, ripe fruit. i also had a carrot cake muffin which the server made sure to grab me one right after i ordered since there were only 2 left! my friends got the caramel nut french toast (with apples instead of bananas) and they loved it.
