hi today we went to the inn for a birthday lunch, beautiful setting had been there many times prior to covid.
i am aware the pandemic has made life difficult for venues.
i also dont normally complain. however today was disastrous, not enough staff, the meals were disappointing, one hard chicken inside soggy coating, awful steak sandwich cold soft not cooked bacon, another chicken schnitzel awful, boards very ordinary for the price we had 4, chips and wedges were the best foods on table of 12. run out of wine glasses, really. barstaffinadequate, slow.this 12 won't be back, but please address these points to not lose more customers, lived here all my life, the inn had been an icon for our north east area,

have been here a few times and had very different experiences. went there for dinner last night & ordered a chicken snitty with mushroom gravy, a staple for any pub worth it's salt but was very disappointed! the snitty it's self was tiny, no bigger then my hand. it was very dry and was like cutting through leather. for 23$ i was quite disappointed. my partner had a meat lovers pizza which he did not enjoy either, it was covered in a very tasteless pork meat that ruined the entire pizza.

visited for sunday lunch with some friends and was happily surprised! the setting was beautiful, the dinning room on the second floor has wall to wall glass doors allowing you to enjoy the great views in a winters day from the warmth of inside ( the warmth thanks to a large wood fire in the dinning room!) the hotel also has a large deck/ balcony that will be lovely in the warmer weather but a bit chilly in the cold as there are no outdoor heaters. the food was above average pub fare with all the usuals appearing on the menu along with wood oven pizzas ( available in sml, medium & lge. large being more then enough to share between 2!) i enjoyed a delicious and very large burger for $15. i couldn't fault the food but found thestaffwere a little on the slack side, we requested some aioli that we never did end up getting.
all in all a great renovated pub just a few minutes drive from the north eastern suburbs but still nestled away in a quiet scenic spot of the adelaide hills, will defiantly be back!!

had mothers day lunch here. there was a set menu..... was $50 a head for a small tasting platter of cheese and bread and a couple of pieces of ham and a main meal with no sides. i felt this was way over priced and that at least a glass of bubbly or a small dessert should have been included for that price. food was average andstaffwere slow to take orders. wasn't overly impressed for the amount of money we paid.

first time here, the last few times we had tried going they were packed out, so it’s always good to ring ahead and book a table. the pub is set on the side of a hill over looking paddocks and a creek. great view and nicely presented dinking room. we had slow-cooked pork belly and a steak. the meals were perfectly cooked. we had house beer and it was a standout brew! very enjoyable afternoon, thestaffwere great and very attentive. the pricing was reasonable considering the satisfaction levels we experienced! will definitely be returning!

living locally, i've been coming here for years. good, tasty quality pub style food. service has never been amazing but tonight was something else.

i forgot to add initially: we booked 45 mins earlier and were told it was fine to get us a table. on arrival, the hostess could not find our booking on the computer, was getting frustrated and was about to turn us away despite the abundance of spare tables in the restaurant.

the menu has changed dramatically. no more pizzas, only meals ranging from $20-35. the menu reads very upper market but meals missed the mark. herb crumbed schnitzel had no herbs at all in the crumb that could be tasted. the signature burger came in a stale and untoasted turkish roll. $22 for a patty, some tomato and lettuce. the most ordinary, overpriced burger ever. not a single vegetarian main on the menu so i had to order a few sides. tasty enough, but the zucchini flowers were greasy and needed a sauce of some kind.

service was shocking. asked for a bottle of water upon being seated and had to remind the waitress twice before we received it. drinks were taken and forgotten and no apologies made. one at my table ordered a lager only to be told 'all the beers are lagers'- maybe educate your staff?
throughout our meal, waitresses were actually running through the restaurant. i cannot imagine anything less professional. we were actually asked to physically lift and move our table so waitresses could walk past when to our left was plenty of space to walk through. i just could not understand it.
the waitstafflooked unkempt and were highly unprofessional. the increase in price and changes in menu are unsuited to the service and style the venue still has. we will not be returning.

we recently headed here for lunch on a weekend after a hills drive. we weren't particularly hungry so we had the sharing plate and a serve of the grilled haloumi between the two of us. the food was nice, i would have liked some crackers to go with the lovely piece of brie that was served on the shared platter. the haloumi was tasty, you can't really go wrong with grilled cheese! they did have frose which went down very well on the warm sunny day. good choice of local wines and ciders available. the waitstaffdid forget cutlery for us as well as another table who received their meals only for the waiter to walk off.staffwere polite and the location is lovely. go for a nice casual lunch when you have some time for a drive.

have been here for lunch a couple of times and it is a great spot complete with a lovely view of intense greenery! the space inside is old warm & welcoming and thestaffwere delightful. the burgers are tasty and pizza (the hahndorf meatlovers one in particular) is delicious. would've liked to try the pear and blue cheese pizza but need to have it with another fan of blue cheese! :) the prices are a wee bit more than average, but the flavours and service make it worth it. the wine list is also good and local too. :)

we arrived on a not-so-busy saturday night, staffwere friendly and welcoming. and was really looking forward to the night. thats where it ended. meals started to come out. raw dough in the garlic bread, raw chicken shnitzel, cold steak at a $40 price tag and when we spoke to the waitress about it it came back microwaved!!!
the beers were warm. not what us blokes wanted on a 38° day! the only positive i can give was the ribs were very well cooked and falling apart. and thestaffwere very helpfull and friendly other than that. would not return. chef needs a review. the pic is of the ribs they were nice but the cold kraft cream cheese sauce was terrible!

had dinner with my family after experiencing many great breakfasts at the inglewood inn. after eating dinner here, i can confirm that myself and the rest of my family will never dine there again. upon arrival we were informed several dishes were unavailable which they did not inform us upon booking. one person ordered flat head fish and got 1 fillet of flat head and another fillet of something unrecognisable. frozen vegetables, no bread rolls, unhappystaffwho were unhelpful and unhappy where we felt as though it was inconvenience to ask for any kind of menu assistance. also, upon  inquiring whether it was 'vegan friendly' when first inquiring we were told they had vegan options. when booking we were also assured there were vegan options. however when dining in the only options were vegetables (which were frozen) and a pizza with only tomatoes on it. worst $320.00 ever spent.

my partner and i frequent the inglewood quite regularly as nothing else really compares in the area. can never go past their ingleburger however if we're feeling like something a bit more upmarket there's always something on the specials that takes our fancy!staffare always so lovely and accommodating and the views are breathtaking - cannot recommend this place enough!

not bad for a pub meal. pulled into the inglewood inn for lunch on our way to the barossa valley. being a pub we had some trepidation, but were pleasantly surprised. thestaffwere polite & efficient. the restaurant was well laid out with a number of tables on the verandah, which looked over rolling hills. we only ordered main courses which were great, but were let down by a not particularly interesting wine list & the macchiato was well below average. i would stop here again.

after reading previous reviews i'm astounded. i have eaten here previously before the new renovations. it was really below standard food overcooked to the point of being burnt. tonight took my parents thinking that it may have improved but i was disappointed. the service was good but food again was below standard. when i complained about the 1" thick crumble thestaffjust walked away. you pay top prices for pretty standard pub food. decor was nice. anyway twice bitten and never again. they really need a new cook

fabulous meal and very accommodating. fabulous evening spent at inglewood inn, kitchen and barstaffcouldn't be more accommodating even with a place full of new year's eve revellers. following a vegan diet i verrrrrry rarely return home from eating out raving about the meal i had, so would recommend inglewood's wilhelmina salad (minus the feta) to others. while this particular salad didn't make it on their nye special menu that was soon sorted after a quick chat to restaurant manager who liaised with the chef. great meal.
