the most amazing atmosphere and customer service! thefoodis ok... it's not great but it's not bad. i've been there a few times and most recently ordered a steak medium-rare. it came out very unevenly cooked and very tough to eat. my friends ordered snorkels and we were disappointed they haven't yet got the memo that no one enjoys the snitzel on top of the fries! it makes them soggy! plus our side salad were literally a bowl of rocket a few specks of parmesan and about 2 shavings of pear... for the price it just does not cut it!

have been here a few times and had very different experiences. went there for dinner last night & ordered a chicken snitty with mushroom gravy, a staple for any pub worth it's salt but was very disappointed! the snitty it's self was tiny, no bigger then my hand. it was very dry and was like cutting through leather. for 23$ i was quite disappointed. my partner had a meat lovers pizza which he did not enjoy either, it was covered in a very tasteless pork meat that ruined the entire pizza.

visited for sunday lunch with some friends and was happily surprised! the setting was beautiful, the dinning room on the second floor has wall to wall glass doors allowing you to enjoy the great views in a winters day from the warmth of inside ( the warmth thanks to a large wood fire in the dinning room!) the hotel also has a large deck/ balcony that will be lovely in the warmer weather but a bit chilly in the cold as there are no outdoor heaters. thefoodwas above average pub fare with all the usuals appearing on the menu along with wood oven pizzas ( available in sml, medium & lge. large being more then enough to share between 2!) i enjoyed a delicious and very large burger for $15. i couldn't fault thefoodbut found the staff were a little on the slack side, we requested some aioli that we never did end up getting.
all in all a great renovated pub just a few minutes drive from the north eastern suburbs but still nestled away in a quiet scenic spot of the adelaide hills, will defiantly be back!!

had mothers day lunch here. there was a set menu..... was $50 a head for a small tasting platter of cheese and bread and a couple of pieces of ham and a main meal with no sides. i felt this was way over priced and that at least a glass of bubbly or a small dessert should have been included for that price.foodwas average and staff were slow to take orders. wasn't overly impressed for the amount of money we paid.

wow what a great find. a historic old pub sympathetically restored. beautiful restaurant area and balcony overlooking the hills and a stream. service efficient.foodexcellent - try the amazing chicken wings and pretty good tomato arancini. good selection of local beers on tap and by the bottle. recommended. we’ll be back.

the inglewood is one of my favourite places to eat. a lovely setting and pleasant atmosphere. headed up there tonight for a light meal and decided to give the pizza a go. had previously thought to order a single pizza to share (they are 11") but read on the menu that they recommend one pizza per person. we went with the recommendation and found it was a gross exaggeration. the pizzas are a true 11" size and definitely enough for two and to be honest you can get better pizzas elsewhere. we turned down the option to take the remnants away and left $25 worth offoodon the table. not a fan of such a misleading, obvious revenue raising comment on the menu.

we recently headed here for lunch on a weekend after a hills drive. we weren't particularly hungry so we had the sharing plate and a serve of the grilled haloumi between the two of us. thefoodwas nice, i would have liked some crackers to go with the lovely piece of brie that was served on the shared platter. the haloumi was tasty, you can't really go wrong with grilled cheese! they did have frose which went down very well on the warm sunny day. good choice of local wines and ciders available. the wait staff did forget cutlery for us as well as another table who received their meals only for the waiter to walk off. staff were polite and the location is lovely. go for a nice casual lunch when you have some time for a drive.

friendly. i would suggest an evening visit, and sit out in the dining area out the back, and enjoy the serenity.
relax, because sometimes the service isn't the best. the publican & his wife are quite a jovial friendly pair, happy to mingle amongst the patrons. the beer is always cold, and thefoodis adequate. don't go there with great expectations, and you will enjoy it. the location is nothing short of brilliant! ..... have been there on many occasions. i have been very fortunate and never had a bad meal yet. just slow in coming sometimes, and i have noticed recently the portions are getting smaller. still worth a visit.

eading out to a country pub on a sunday is something that i (nathan) find myself doing a lot more recently. it's an opportunity to get out of the city, experience some newfoodand take in some of adelaide's great scenery. the  inglewood inn  is one that has intrigued me everytime i have driven past as the car park is always full. this is generally a good sign for a country venue. we decided to book a table one sunday lunch and give it a go.

very disappointed. went for a birthday dinner. we were the first there yet the last served. we had two small children who were hungry - not cool. had to ask twice for water to the table, no drinks service to out table yet everyone else did? we had a birthday cake that we asked them to bring out three times. after 45 minutes and with tired children we were over it, told them to forget it and paid the bill. spoke to the manageress about it and were met with total disinterest. such a shame as is a beautiful setting.foodwas pretty good but not amazing.

still sitting here in a hypnotic state after eating the inglewood burger. after my taste buds were done convulsing and my brain was done enjoying the opium like reaction to the amazing flavours, i sculled down my crystal beer and achieved pure satisfaction.

damn, i just noticed although this place is in the middle of nowhere it is busy! it's either the outstandingfoodor the scenic views.

the inglewood burger was second to none in size and flavour. not to mention the delicious chips that accompany it with a rustic tomato relish dipping sauce.

even tho this place is busy, service and time forfoodto come out does not falter.

surrounded by my loved ones, theirs and my delicious meals, nice atmosphere and great scenic views - inglewood inn has been a fantastic lunch out for my father's birthday.
