great place!. we decided to go and have lunch there, no reservation, we got a great table, had the burger amazing!!servicewas great, nice friendly atmosphere. can't wait to go back :)

wow what a great find. a historic old pub sympathetically restored. beautiful restaurant area and balcony overlooking the hills and a stream.serviceefficient. food excellent - try the amazing chicken wings and pretty good tomato arancini. good selection of local beers on tap and by the bottle. recommended. we’ll be back.

living locally, i've been coming here for years. good, tasty quality pub style food.servicehas never been amazing but tonight was something else.

i forgot to add initially: we booked 45 mins earlier and were told it was fine to get us a table. on arrival, the hostess could not find our booking on the computer, was getting frustrated and was about to turn us away despite the abundance of spare tables in the restaurant.

the menu has changed dramatically. no more pizzas, only meals ranging from $20-35. the menu reads very upper market but meals missed the mark. herb crumbed schnitzel had no herbs at all in the crumb that could be tasted. the signature burger came in a stale and untoasted turkish roll. $22 for a patty, some tomato and lettuce. the most ordinary, overpriced burger ever. not a single vegetarian main on the menu so i had to order a few sides. tasty enough, but the zucchini flowers were greasy and needed a sauce of some kind.

service was shocking. asked for a bottle of water upon being seated and had to remind the waitress twice before we received it. drinks were taken and forgotten and no apologies made. one at my table ordered a lager only to be told 'all the beers are lagers'- maybe educate your staff?
throughout our meal, waitresses were actually running through the restaurant. i cannot imagine anything less professional. we were actually asked to physically lift and move our table so waitresses could walk past when to our left was plenty of space to walk through. i just could not understand it.
the wait staff looked unkempt and were highly unprofessional. the increase in price and changes in menu are unsuited to theserviceand style the venue still has. we will not be returning.

have been here for lunch a couple of times and it is a great spot complete with a lovely view of intense greenery! the space inside is old warm & welcoming and the staff were delightful. the burgers are tasty and pizza (the hahndorf meatlovers one in particular) is delicious. would've liked to try the pear and blue cheese pizza but need to have it with another fan of blue cheese! :) the prices are a wee bit more than average, but the flavours andservicemake it worth it. the wine list is also good and local too. :)

so much potential... wasted. i have eaten here maybe 3 times over the past 3-4 years. the pub setting is excellent and has some serious potential to be a great experience, but it is far far from it. everytime i have been i have walked away disappointed. either poor service, stuff ups with bookings, incorrect meals or extremely slowserviceof meals. there is always something that pops up everytime. we ordered nuggets from the kids menu for 1 of the kids and was presented with fish and chips. good thing he doesnt have a fish allergy. the part i find the worst is they have the nerve to put a sign outside reading "10% additional surcharge on sundays" which is to cover the higher penalty rates for sunday trading (so they can still make a ridiculous amount of mark up from their over priced meals and beers). made my very average salt and pepper squid with about 12 chips and some boring salad $25+

great lunch. stinking hot day but had reservations to meet some friends for lunch and we chose the inglewood inn. i found theserviceto be prompt and friendly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. while very dry outside, i can imagine that the views would be a feature in the cooler months and sitting on the balcony on a sunny autumn day in the hills would be nice. it was good to get up to the adelaide hills following the fires and help to put some money back into the business community up there.

tried twice. sorry guys, heard good things, been twice disappointed both times. food andserviceneed work.

friendly. i would suggest an evening visit, and sit out in the dining area out the back, and enjoy the serenity.
relax, because sometimes theserviceisn't the best. the publican & his wife are quite a jovial friendly pair, happy to mingle amongst the patrons. the beer is always cold, and the food is adequate. don't go there with great expectations, and you will enjoy it. the location is nothing short of brilliant! ..... have been there on many occasions. i have been very fortunate and never had a bad meal yet. just slow in coming sometimes, and i have noticed recently the portions are getting smaller. still worth a visit.

f for fail!. so disappointed with the management of this restaurant/pub. took my family up for a lunch which included my 14 month old daughter. owner of the pub made a rude remark about the noises my daughter was making. these were typical infant sounds while sitting in her high chair. not screaming the place down that's for sure! when confronted about the rude remark, the management was even more rude and argumentative. couldn't believe it!

very disappointed. went for a birthday dinner. we were the first there yet the last served. we had two small children who were hungry - not cool. had to ask twice for water to the table, no drinksserviceto out table yet everyone else did? we had a birthday cake that we asked them to bring out three times. after 45 minutes and with tired children we were over it, told them to forget it and paid the bill. spoke to the manageress about it and were met with total disinterest. such a shame as is a beautiful setting. food was pretty good but not amazing.

good service, good food. first time there will not be the last. we had their signature burger. it was huge. very tasty angus beef patie and the homemade tomato sauce. goodserviceand lovely environment.

still sitting here in a hypnotic state after eating the inglewood burger. after my taste buds were done convulsing and my brain was done enjoying the opium like reaction to the amazing flavours, i sculled down my crystal beer and achieved pure satisfaction.

damn, i just noticed although this place is in the middle of nowhere it is busy! it's either the outstanding food or the scenic views.

the inglewood burger was second to none in size and flavour. not to mention the delicious chips that accompany it with a rustic tomato relish dipping sauce.

even tho this place is busy,serviceand time for food to come out does not falter.

surrounded by my loved ones, theirs and my delicious meals, nice atmosphere and great scenic views - inglewood inn has been a fantastic lunch out for my father's birthday.

this place rocked. i don't know what these people are saying. this place is awesome. we had a table if seven,servicewas no dramas. medium surf and turf, no dramas. and who doesn't like mars bar cheesecake. don't know if it's new staff but it was a great experance twice in the last two months.

oh dear!. lovely renovated old pub... sadly that is the only positive about our dining experience.
as a lot of reviews state, theserviceis very slow. of our party of 5 we had one happy diner, 4 of us went home hungry, 2 meals were sent back due to being undercooked and 2 steaks were cooked well but of poor quality. the drinks waitress forgot our drinks, no big deal that can happen but overall it added up to a very disappointing experience.
