if you're hungry...don't wait!. we heard that theinglewoodinn had renos done so we went to check it out. only to wait a labouring 45 minutes for a burger!

we thought they forgot about us so we questioned them and my burger came out 10 minutes later!

burger was tasty but jaw-breaking.
for $17 we will def not be waiting 45 minutes again.

just keep driving to the next country town and order there. it will be quicker!!

theinglewoodis one of my favourite places to eat. a lovely setting and pleasant atmosphere. headed up there tonight for a light meal and decided to give the pizza a go. had previously thought to order a single pizza to share (they are 11") but read on the menu that they recommend one pizza per person. we went with the recommendation and found it was a gross exaggeration. the pizzas are a true 11" size and definitely enough for two and to be honest you can get better pizzas elsewhere. we turned down the option to take the remnants away and left $25 worth of food on the table. not a fan of such a misleading, obvious revenue raising comment on the menu.

had dinner with my family after experiencing many great breakfasts at theinglewoodinn. after eating dinner here, i can confirm that myself and the rest of my family will never dine there again. upon arrival we were informed several dishes were unavailable which they did not inform us upon booking. one person ordered flat head fish and got 1 fillet of flat head and another fillet of something unrecognisable. frozen vegetables, no bread rolls, unhappy staff who were unhelpful and unhappy where we felt as though it was inconvenience to ask for any kind of menu assistance. also, upon  inquiring whether it was 'vegan friendly' when first inquiring we were told they had vegan options. when booking we were also assured there were vegan options. however when dining in the only options were vegetables (which were frozen) and a pizza with only tomatoes on it. worst $320.00 ever spent.

my partner and i frequent theinglewoodquite regularly as nothing else really compares in the area. can never go past their ingleburger however if we're feeling like something a bit more upmarket there's always something on the specials that takes our fancy! staff are always so lovely and accommodating and the views are breathtaking - cannot recommend this place enough!

great lunch. stinking hot day but had reservations to meet some friends for lunch and we chose theinglewoodinn. i found the service to be prompt and friendly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. while very dry outside, i can imagine that the views would be a feature in the cooler months and sitting on the balcony on a sunny autumn day in the hills would be nice. it was good to get up to the adelaide hills following the fires and help to put some money back into the business community up there.

not bad for a pub meal. pulled into theinglewoodinn for lunch on our way to the barossa valley. being a pub we had some trepidation, but were pleasantly surprised. the staff were polite & efficient. the restaurant was well laid out with a number of tables on the verandah, which looked over rolling hills. we only ordered main courses which were great, but were let down by a not particularly interesting wine list & the macchiato was well below average. i would stop here again.

eading out to a country pub on a sunday is something that i (nathan) find myself doing a lot more recently. it's an opportunity to get out of the city, experience some new food and take in some of adelaide's great scenery. the inglewoodinn  is one that has intrigued me everytime i have driven past as the car park is always full. this is generally a good sign for a country venue. we decided to book a table one sunday lunch and give it a go.

deep fried salad?. if you want pub-grub at fine restaurant prices - you'll love this place. we went to theinglewoodinn because of a few people had mentioned they liked it, they website looks good, the setting is great, the view is outstanding so when we ordered the seafood platter we were totally shocked with the a very boring, tastless, everything deep fried experience. it wasn't beer battered, but they have a fine selection of beers? you might as well have battered and deep fried the salad too - sorry guys, won't be back.

still sitting here in a hypnotic state after eating theinglewoodburger. after my taste buds were done convulsing and my brain was done enjoying the opium like reaction to the amazing flavours, i sculled down my crystal beer and achieved pure satisfaction.

damn, i just noticed although this place is in the middle of nowhere it is busy! it's either the outstanding food or the scenic views.

theinglewoodburger was second to none in size and flavour. not to mention the delicious chips that accompany it with a rustic tomato relish dipping sauce.

even tho this place is busy, service and time for food to come out does not falter.

surrounded by my loved ones, theirs and my delicious meals, nice atmosphere and great scenic views -inglewoodinn has been a fantastic lunch out for my father's birthday.

fabulous meal and very accommodating. fabulous evening spent atinglewoodinn, kitchen and bar staff couldn't be more accommodating even with a place full of new year's eve revellers. following a vegan diet i verrrrrry rarely return home from eating out raving about the meal i had, so would recommend inglewood's wilhelmina salad (minus the feta) to others. while this particular salad didn't make it on their nye special menu that was soon sorted after a quick chat to restaurant manager who liaised with the chef. great meal.

inglewood inn. i lived at theinglewoodtwice when my parents ran this establishment and had fond memories of the ingle singles family days etc back in the 70s. i returned again in july this year and had an awesome lunch, great service and a really lovely day talking to our waitress who said she loved working there as she spoke to so many people with stories about the place, was almost a history lesson. keep up the good work and i will be back to visit next time im down there. (i live in sainders beach, fnq)
