great place!. we decided to go and have lunch there, no reservation, we got a great table, had the burger amazing!! service was great, nice friendly atmosphere. can't wait to goback:)

we arrived on a not-so-busy saturday night, staff were friendly and welcoming. and was really looking forward to the night. thats where it ended. meals started to come out. raw dough in the garlic bread, raw chicken shnitzel, cold steak at a $40 price tag and when we spoke to the waitress about it it camebackmicrowaved!!!
the beers were warm. not what us blokes wanted on a 38° day! the only positive i can give was the ribs were very well cooked and falling apart. and the staff were very helpfull and friendly other than that. would not return. chef needs a review. the pic is of the ribs they were nice but the cold kraft cream cheese sauce was terrible!

great lunch. stinking hot day but had reservations to meet some friends for lunch and we chose the inglewood inn. i found the service to be prompt and friendly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. while very dry outside, i can imagine that the views would be a feature in the cooler months and sitting on the balcony on a sunny autumn day in the hills would be nice. it was good to get up to the adelaide hills following the fires and help to put some moneybackinto the business community up there.

oh dear!. lovely renovated old pub... sadly that is the only positive about our dining experience.
as a lot of reviews state, the service is very slow. of our party of 5 we had one happy diner, 4 of us went home hungry, 2 meals were sentbackdue to being undercooked and 2 steaks were cooked well but of poor quality. the drinks waitress forgot our drinks, no big deal that can happen but overall it added up to a very disappointing experience.

very disappointing - don't bother!. we booked a table for the set menu on fathers' day and confirmed our booking in the preceding week. there were 5 fathers in our group. when we arrived, someone had deleted our booking, although there was evidence of it with a line through it. we were eventually given a table in the corner of the parlour, not set up for lunch as the other tables were. $40 bought us soup, bread and a choice of three mains. the soup and bread arrived promptly, however we had to wait almost 2 hours for our mains. the chicken was dry, the fish barely cooked and the person who had lamb shanks sent thembacktwice as they were 'stone cold'. he still reported the potatoes were cold even after the second time his meal was returned. i sent an email to the hotel on the same evening. they have not even bothered to respond.

inglewood inn. i lived at the inglewood twice when my parents ran this establishment and had fond memories of the ingle singles family days etcbackin the 70s. i returned again in july this year and had an awesome lunch, great service and a really lovely day talking to our waitress who said she loved working there as she spoke to so many people with stories about the place, was almost a history lesson. keep up the good work and i will bebackto visit next time im down there.
