first time here, the last few times we had tried going they were packed out, so it’s alwaysgoodto ring ahead and book a table. the pub is set on the side of a hill over looking paddocks and a creek. great view and nicely presented dinking room. we had slow-cooked pork belly and a steak. the meals were perfectly cooked. we had house beer and it was a standout brew! very enjoyable afternoon, the staff were great and very attentive. the pricing was reasonable considering the satisfaction levels we experienced! will definitely be returning!

wow what a great find. a historic old pub sympathetically restored. beautiful restaurant area and balcony overlooking the hills and a stream. service efficient. food excellent - try the amazing chicken wings and prettygoodtomato arancini.goodselection of local beers on tap and by the bottle. recommended. we’ll be back.

we recently headed here for lunch on a weekend after a hills drive. we weren't particularly hungry so we had the sharing plate and a serve of the grilled haloumi between the two of us. the food was nice, i would have liked some crackers to go with the lovely piece of brie that was served on the shared platter. the haloumi was tasty, you can't really go wrong with grilled cheese! they did have frose which went down very well on the warm sunny day.goodchoice of local wines and ciders available. the wait staff did forget cutlery for us as well as another table who received their meals only for the waiter to walk off. staff were polite and the location is lovely. go for a nice casual lunch when you have some time for a drive.

have been here for lunch a couple of times and it is a great spot complete with a lovely view of intense greenery! the space inside is old warm & welcoming and the staff were delightful. the burgers are tasty and pizza (the hahndorf meatlovers one in particular) is delicious. would've liked to try the pear and blue cheese pizza but need to have it with another fan of blue cheese! :) the prices are a wee bit more than average, but the flavours and service make it worth it. the wine list is alsogoodand local too. :)

so much potential... wasted. i have eaten here maybe 3 times over the past 3-4 years. the pub setting is excellent and has some serious potential to be a great experience, but it is far far from it. everytime i have been i have walked away disappointed. either poor service, stuff ups with bookings, incorrect meals or extremely slow service of meals. there is always something that pops up everytime. we ordered nuggets from the kids menu for 1 of the kids and was presented with fish and chips.goodthing he doesnt have a fish allergy. the part i find the worst is they have the nerve to put a sign outside reading "10% additional surcharge on sundays" which is to cover the higher penalty rates for sunday trading (so they can still make a ridiculous amount of mark up from their over priced meals and beers). made my very average salt and pepper squid with about 12 chips and some boring salad $25+

great lunch. stinking hot day but had reservations to meet some friends for lunch and we chose the inglewood inn. i found the service to be prompt and friendly, and everyone enjoyed their meals. while very dry outside, i can imagine that the views would be a feature in the cooler months and sitting on the balcony on a sunny autumn day in the hills would be nice. it wasgoodto get up to the adelaide hills following the fires and help to put some money back into the business community up there.

tried twice. sorry guys, heardgoodthings, been twice disappointed both times. food and service need work.

best thing about is the view. food was very average for the price wouldn't return had just asgoodmeal at cafe primo for 1/3 cost very disappointed

have nothing to complain about. great setting andgoodservice. however the menu was nothing special.

eading out to a country pub on a sunday is something that i (nathan) find myself doing a lot more recently. it's an opportunity to get out of the city, experience some new food and take in some of adelaide's great scenery. the  inglewood inn  is one that has intrigued me everytime i have driven past as the car park is always full. this is generally agoodsign for a country venue. we decided to book a table one sunday lunch and give it a go.

very disappointed. went for a birthday dinner. we were the first there yet the last served. we had two small children who were hungry - not cool. had to ask twice for water to the table, no drinks service to out table yet everyone else did? we had a birthday cake that we asked them to bring out three times. after 45 minutes and with tired children we were over it, told them to forget it and paid the bill. spoke to the manageress about it and were met with total disinterest. such a shame as is a beautiful setting. food was prettygoodbut not amazing.

good service,goodfood. first time there will not be the last. we had their signature burger. it was huge. very tasty angus beef patie and the homemade tomato sauce.goodservice and lovely environment.

fantastic staff with a great atmosphere. food was very tasty with agoodselection on the menu. did not disappoint.

after reading previous reviews i'm astounded. i have eaten here previously before the new renovations. it was really below standard food overcooked to the point of being burnt. tonight took my parents thinking that it may have improved but i was disappointed. the service wasgoodbut food again was below standard. when i complained about the 1" thick crumble the staff just walked away. you pay top prices for pretty standard pub food. decor was nice. anyway twice bitten and never again. they really need a new cook
