love the menu of this thai restaurant. there are a range of dishes to suit everyone's tastes and levels of spiciness that will take you places. the food and drinks usually come out fancy and quick. overall, the menu is very diverse and affordable.

this restaurant is popular, friendly and the service is well above average. sometimes the waiting time can be dragged on unless you want to share a table with other people.

been here more than thrice and will continue to come back for group lunch catchup events ~ヾ(^∇^)

i saw a lot of positive reviews about do dee and dropped by for a late supper. i tried do dee duo - a combination of bbq pork noodle and fish ball noodles. i have to say one thing - horrible! the bbq pork is dry and hard. the fish balls were packaged ones from supermarkets.

i have not tried something so terrible after thai la-ong!!!

so i got 'hooked' on do dee dum dum after trying out their stall at good ol cabra. how could i sensibly resist a poke at them when i was in chinatown 1 fine weekend morning?

decided i'd take away their lvl 3 n lvl 5 soft bone pork noodles and papaya salad. do dee has 7 levels of 'heat' for their noodles, lvl 1 for the timid scaddy cats up to deadly fiery lvl 7. halfway thru the lvl 5 at home, i was soaked in sweat in masochistic heaven.

prices have increased somewhat, still good value. a defo return.

best! this cheap and cheery place serves consistently delicious and authentic thai noodles. i would highly recommend their fried quail eggs wrapped in wonton, any of their noodle dishes and finish off with a refreshing chrysanthemum tea.

they are usually very busy during lunch and dinner times. do expect a queue. the fresh noodles with spare ribs is my favourite dish here. i would always return here if i need a quick yet delicious meal in chinatown.

very slow breakfast service on sunday (7/11/16). only 1 waitress and a chef. wait over 30 minutes for a congee and there are only two table sitting.

either didn't properly prep or just plain slow.
its a shame for a breakfast to take that long and cant imagine what it will be like if the place actually getting busy.

not a good place, if you have to be somewhere.

thai place known for its noodle soup...they have a spicy scale of 1 (or 2) to 7. really hard for me to judge this place mainly because i got 2 spice and was dying...haven't had anything so spicy. i can't even image what 7 level would be like. but my colleague who eats very spicy said its great...so i'll take his word for it.

hot and spicy thai food. we ordered noodle soup (glass noodle), papaya salad, green curry, deep fried wonton egg and grilled pork neck. love papaya salad and green curry, not that spicy but sweet. a little bit expensive.

this is one of my favourite thai place. famous for their noodle soup and rice in clear soup. however, each time i eat here, i'll end up feeling very thirsty after. despite that, i still pay a visit every now and then because the noodle and rice soups are the best! i wouldn't recommend the salad though. dessert are okay too, though nothing fancy.

thai being the hubby’s favorite cuisine brings us to many thai restaurants around sydney, especially those located in the popular thai town in haymarket. do dee paidang is one we found through zomato after checking out many others such as chat thai, home, yok yor, @bangkok, boon cafe etc. do dee paidang is located on ultimo road, an average looking restaurant except for the long queue found outside when we headed there for lunch on saturday afternoon. we waited approximately half an hour or so before getting a table for two. quite understandable as it is a small restaurant but popular! be prepared to sit in close proximity to other patrons as tables are squished tightly together. it’s more a eat and go type of restaurant.
12/17 - tried the deep fried wanton pad thai, no noodle but was really good especially if you like crispy stuff!
