fire breather. first off, you dont come here for the service lol so throw that out of the window. you come here for the 7 levels of hell noodles. the noodles are cheap and come in a small street market style bowl with a choice of 7 levels of spicyness which make you regret that u get it each time but leave you wanting more lol. so far i have only reachedlevel2 and its eye watering and i feel a little bit faint at times lol but its great and yummy. the chicken and pork skewers are the bomb they are so succulent juicy and full of flavour. also definitely get the quail egg fried wontons. overall a cheap hot satisfying thai street market style meal.

it's been a few times that i've come here, everything is reasonably priced and affordable! as they are famous for its tom yum noodles and it's spicy levels, i've orderslevel3 today and deep fried wonton pad thai. the soup has great sweet sour heat that gets so addictive, for the wontons i've tried to get out of my comfort zone but in my opinion the original is better to soak up the good pad thai sauce and the the texture of the noodles instead of crunchy wontons that doesn't absorb flavor of the dish.

felt like spicy food so thought i’d give this place a try. i think the only great thing about this place is the tom yum noodle soups. everything else was pretty mediocre - better off going to holy basil! got the seafood tom yum with glass noodles atlevel7 spicy. this was pretty good! great hit of spice and had a nice sourness to the broth. my partner did not like the pork sausages. these had way too much lemon grass in them. everything else was pretty standard, nothing to highlight. only thing i did notice was how quickly all the food came out. makes me suspect that everything was prepared beforehand though. will only come back here for their spicy tom yum noodle soups. great hole in the wall for the noodle soups. abit on the pricey side though for a “small” bowl. the “jumbo” size is actually just a standard bowl of noodles.

a popular thai eatery, always busy buzzing to deliver good food & service. 🙂their signature tom yum noodle with a sweetly porky, hot & sour broth hit with spoonfuls of fried garlic and topped with crispy wonton strips. there are variety of toppings from seafood to soft pork bone and can be customised with a choice between seven types of noodles. you can increase the heat fromlevelone to seven. my favourite choice will be do dee pla-sen. (tom yum noodle with fish strips) the noodles were actually made out of fish meat, thick strands with a whisper of piscine flavour but not a trace of fishy stink. 🙂moo ping (skewered pork neck) is to die for. it was nicely seasoned, juicy & tender with a beautiful charred flavour. 😋 my other favourites would be goong pair (a tower of crunchy battered deep fried school prawns) and pah tong goh, (fried bread sticks) with pandan custard. the bread sticks were soft & fluffy on the inside without a greasy mouthfeel. 😍

it’s been a few times that i’ve visited do dee and i always ordered the do dee nursery. this time i thought i’d like to step up my game by ordering thelevel1, since every time i ordered the nursery, i always ended up adding more chilli flakes by myself. but i underestimated the term “monster” as it was too spice for me though the spicy taste itself doesn’t over power the other flavours and it was still very tasty, i had to add some more sauces to make it a bit less spicy. over all, it’s very recommended to try the quail egg wrapped inside a dumpling skin (i forgot the name), it’s very popular and very nice

do dee is probably most known for its spicy noodles and man are they spicy 🥵 the noodles range from 0-7 levels of spiciness which you can choose from amongst a range of other thai dishes. i ordered two small bowls (onelevel1 spice and onelevel3 spice) and found thelevel1 spice to be pleasant to eat where i could enjoy and taste all the flavours. thelevel3 spice on the other hand was a goodlevelof spicy for me during the initial bites (i like to think i’m quite good with spice) but towards the end i was struggling and my stomach did not feel good after. also ordered a side of pork skewers to accompany the noodles and would highly recommend this side - the pork was so tender and j00c3y 🤩🤩

it was my first time visited this place and it was really good. first of all i had dinner on here and we should wait for about 20 mins to be seated. the place its not big so you should be patient for waiting to be seated. i’ve ordered do dee monsterlevel1, with couple of meatballs, pork ribs, crisps and the egg noodles. the broth of the noodles was really good, you can taste umami flavor on it. i do really love their broth and also their crisps adds on the crunchiness of the dish. i also ordered the fried bun with some of pandan sauce which is moist and crunch at the same time. their pandan sauce was not too sweet so it was balance.
their service was good, quite quick and most of all the price was affordable. it only cost 7.5 aud for small bowl of noodles which has a big portion to me.

happy eating!!

the noodle was really good, i really like the broth. forlevel3 it was quite spicy for me, but still, it was so addictive. i also ordered the fried wonton and fried pork meatball, it was really good. it was seasoned well. overall, the food was really good, but its not really good place for having chit chat. tenesse debra

we regularly come for the tom yum noodles here, which are amazing, possibly the best we've had in sydney. the pork-based broth is incredibly flavoursome, very tangy and hearty. the fried wonton sheets add an interesting texture to the dish. the tom yum noodles are very reasonably priced, too, at $6.9 for a small bowl. if you're not accustomed to spice, it's best to start atlevelone and add your own.

service is always very fast, and do dee is usually open until midnight too - making it great for a late snack. the rest of the menu is possibly a little wanting. for something sweet go for the thai iced tea. some of the other drinks and desserts we've had - the pandan juice, a shaved ice dessert - we found a little sickly sweet.

overall would definitely recommend do dee for its tom yum noodles.

when i go to do dee, i go straight for the cardboard menu. they serve tom yum soup noodles which are out of this world. there is a choice between small and jumbo sizes, jumbo being double the size. the soup comes with your choice of noodles and some toppings like beef balls, ribs, fish balls and some crunchy wonton skin strips.

for the spicy lovers, there is a numbering system for their levels,level1 tolevel7. i consider myself someone who can take spicy, but i would never go pastlevel3.level2 is my suggestedlevelfor those who like spicy. you can always order a coconut drink if things go south.

for those who cant take your heat, not to fear! they serve non spicy noodles too. i recommend #4 and #10 from the menu, both are non-spicy combination noodles. they recently raised the price a little, but for $6.5 you can get a small bowl of noodles. with that i recommend getting some appetizers which are listed on the back of the cardboard menu. most of them are only $2-$3 a stick.

pros : cheap meals with an array of tom yum noodles. spiciness with levels.  amazing soup base - a few of us joke that they probably drug the soup to make it taste so good!

cons : none! maybe the soup is really drugged? lol

must get:

combination tom yum soup #4 or #10 ($7~) – i usually get two small, so i can try different toppings.

grilled pork skewer $3 per stick

deep fried won tons (i’ll keep it a surprise what’s inside, you would never guess!)
