spicy ninja!!

level 7spicynoodles are my fav, however this time around we got less noodles in our "jumbo" size bowl. the crispy fried pork belly in thaispicysauce was good and the pad thai was soso... it lacked in flavour. i hoped that because it was busy so these things were neglected but still was an ok meal.

until next time .... keep eating !!!

this is the place to come if you’re after a quick cheap and not so big serving feed. incredibly popular, you can go a small size noodle for $8 and served in 3 minutes. i got a jumbo serve for $15, which is about a bit”normal” noodle soup size elsewhere. the soup itself wasspicy& tangy, but there’s a strong gamey taste on ball & sausage. the service was quick, but not necessarily friendly.

it's been a few times that i've come here, everything is reasonably priced and affordable! as they are famous for its tom yum noodles and it'sspicylevels, i've orders level 3 today and deep fried wonton pad thai. the soup has great sweet sour heat that gets so addictive, for the wontons i've tried to get out of my comfort zone but in my opinion the original is better to soak up the good pad thai sauce and the the texture of the noodles instead of crunchy wontons that doesn't absorb flavor of the dish.

felt likespicyfood so thought i’d give this place a try. i think the only great thing about this place is the tom yum noodle soups. everything else was pretty mediocre - better off going to holy basil! got the seafood tom yum with glass noodles at level 7 spicy. this was pretty good! great hit of spice and had a nice sourness to the broth. my partner did not like the pork sausages. these had way too much lemon grass in them. everything else was pretty standard, nothing to highlight. only thing i did notice was how quickly all the food came out. makes me suspect that everything was prepared beforehand though. will only come back here for theirspicytom yum noodle soups. great hole in the wall for the noodle soups. abit on the pricey side though for a “small” bowl. the “jumbo” size is actually just a standard bowl of noodles.

i just finished work and so lazy to cook. my husband loved pork skewer (mu phing). we decide go to one of thai restaurant nearby from our place because we do not want to go far place when is raining like today.
i have ordered several food:

kaew tod: this one is called keaw tod, the fried snack made from wonton pastry. inside always be pork , sausage or small egg. however, this restaurant only offer inside small eggs. when you eat with sweet chilli will be well combined.

kaew tod
2. moo ping: it is thai-style grilled pork on a skewer that is marinated in pounded coriander roots, peppers and garlics together and is then grilled over a charcoal bb and normally moo ping is served with sticky rice and nam chim chaeo. nam chim chaeo is aspicysauce which complements grilled meat. you will be loved it.
moo ping
3.fish ball bomb and mixed ball: they are made with fish paste and boiled in a soupy broth, or deep fried. we have ordered fried fish ball and steam fish ball with sweet chilli.
fish ball bombmixed ball
4. doo dee noodle soup: there is several type of noodle soup at this lrestaurant u can choose from nonspicyto monster which is really spicy. the soup base is tom yum soup and we have ordered two type of noodle soup and one is seafood noodle and the other is doo dee m16 and super mama ( seafood). the soup taste will tasty either one but depend on the people preference. i loved pork and fish ball soup rather than seafood. the reason is doo dee m16 giving more strong flavour.
doo dee m16do dee island
5. the last ordered is fried fish and it is called miang pla and it means “wrapped fish”. where is fish eat with rice noodle and wrap with some vegie such as lettuce, basil, coriander and sauce. the sauce is sweet dipping is combined between peanut and tamarind plus palm sugar. the price is reasonable and we take set menu either you can choose normal rice or sticky rice plus one drink.
miang pla
we enjoyed our lunch and feel so full. the atmosphere the place is not bad but normally, we need to have bigger sitting place with our order

it’s been a few times that i’ve visited do dee and i always ordered the do dee nursery. this time i thought i’d like to step up my game by ordering the level 1, since every time i ordered the nursery, i always ended up adding more chilli flakes by myself. but i underestimated the term “monster” as it was too spice for me though thespicytaste itself doesn’t over power the other flavours and it was still very tasty, i had to add some more sauces to make it a bit less spicy. over all, it’s very recommended to try the quail egg wrapped inside a dumpling skin (i forgot the name), it’s very popular and very nice

do dee is probably most known for itsspicynoodles and man are theyspicy🥵 the noodles range from 0-7 levels of spiciness which you can choose from amongst a range of other thai dishes. i ordered two small bowls (one level 1 spice and one level 3 spice) and found the level 1 spice to be pleasant to eat where i could enjoy and taste all the flavours. the level 3 spice on the other hand was a good level ofspicyfor me during the initial bites (i like to think i’m quite good with spice) but towards the end i was struggling and my stomach did not feel good after. also ordered a side of pork skewers to accompany the noodles and would highly recommend this side - the pork was so tender and j00c3y 🤩🤩

so my friend told me this restaurant is really amazing,

she brought me here, she is from thailand. and the food is amazing. the noodles at first had a funny fishy taste but once i mixed it up it was amazing.

the noodles was thaispicyit had chucks of pork that was meant to be soft bone but there was hard bone in there to. but over all it was amazing 😉

we also had egg wrapped in some pastry and fried. it was amazing the egg inside was so soft. it’s a busy restaurant and highly recommend it!

cheap food that is absolutely delicious? what more do i need to say?
the green curry is actually one of the best i've had in sydney, and the serving size is so so great. we also ordered the pad kee mao, which wasspicyand tangy with lime. i love the traditional food that is served, but the only downside is honestly just the sheer number of people in the restaurant! it's always packed! we were on a table shared with 4 other couples which made for a lot of awkward eavesdropping (not ideal for a date!). service isn't perfect, mainly because of the sheer number of orders. they are a very whatever is ready first will go out first - doesn't matter who ordered first.
a post drinks dinner option for sure. a uni student meal place for sure. do yourself a favour and try out the food - you won't be sorry

love the menu number 4, tom yum noodle with pork ribs. i ordered withspicylevel of 2 and wow ..... i think i need to go down level to level 1 for next time. the soup full of flavour but not enough soup, i think. if they give more soup, i will give 5 stars.

was feeling like thai, didn’t take long to find this place, as we walked passed and could see it was packed inside. the friendly staff seated us, gave us boards and menus.. i went for a pad thai (naturally, on a first time!) with crispy pork and my partner chose the red curry with vegetables.

pad thai was tasty, the pork was not too tough. my request for extraspicy🌶 was adequately adhered. without tasting, i whacked on a few fresh chillies and a small amount of chilli powder, which will teach me the future lesson of: try first - old habits die hard!!

my partner found her curry a bit too spicy, even though she didn’t ask it to be juiced like i did. noodles had a delicious texture, with just the right amount of nuts and bean sprouts to mix. did not feel the msg reaction (5 hours later) and the serving was adequate for someone who has a big appetite, like me.. although i would have happily scoffed another plate of pad thai!

really nice decor with the king and queen looking down on us whilst we dine and the service was prompt and polite throughout. will definitely come back here again soon for lunch to try the papaya salads.
