the best and most authentic thainoodlesin sydney..... seriously good noodle shop....very authentic thai flavour - must add chilli, vinegar, fish sauce and sugar to taste...very very good!
if going with friends the jumbo size tom yum can feed 3-4 people and includes a mixture of seafood (prawn/calamari/etc.) and pork (balls/sausage/soft bone/etc.).....very good value.....

spicy ninja!!

level 7 spicynoodlesare my fav, however this time around we got lessnoodlesin our "jumbo" size bowl. the crispy fried pork belly in thai spicy sauce was good and the pad thai was soso... it lacked in flavour. i hoped that because it was busy so these things were neglected but still was an ok meal.

until next time .... keep eating !!!

fire breather. first off, you dont come here for the service lol so throw that out of the window. you come here for the 7 levels of hell noodles. thenoodlesare cheap and come in a small street market style bowl with a choice of 7 levels of spicyness which make you regret that u get it each time but leave you wanting more lol. so far i have only reached level 2 and its eye watering and i feel a little bit faint at times lol but its great and yummy. the chicken and pork skewers are the bomb they are so succulent juicy and full of flavour. also definitely get the quail egg fried wontons. overall a cheap hot satisfying thai street market style meal.

it's been a few times that i've come here, everything is reasonably priced and affordable! as they are famous for its tom yumnoodlesand it's spicy levels, i've orders level 3 today and deep fried wonton pad thai. the soup has great sweet sour heat that gets so addictive, for the wontons i've tried to get out of my comfort zone but in my opinion the original is better to soak up the good pad thai sauce and the the texture of thenoodlesinstead of crunchy wontons that doesn't absorb flavor of the dish.

definitely the one of the best places for authentic thai street food in sydney! the specialty is definitely thenoodlessoups (with bases like tom yum etc) but if you are a rice person then there's definitely something for you as well! very recommended!

felt like spicy food so thought i’d give this place a try. i think the only great thing about this place is the tom yum noodle soups. everything else was pretty mediocre - better off going to holy basil! got the seafood tom yum with glassnoodlesat level 7 spicy. this was pretty good! great hit of spice and had a nice sourness to the broth. my partner did not like the pork sausages. these had way too much lemon grass in them. everything else was pretty standard, nothing to highlight. only thing i did notice was how quickly all the food came out. makes me suspect that everything was prepared beforehand though. will only come back here for their spicy tom yum noodle soups. great hole in the wall for the noodle soups. abit on the pricey side though for a “small” bowl. the “jumbo” size is actually just a standard bowl of noodles.

a popular thai eatery, always busy buzzing to deliver good food & service. 🙂their signature tom yum noodle with a sweetly porky, hot & sour broth hit with spoonfuls of fried garlic and topped with crispy wonton strips. there are variety of toppings from seafood to soft pork bone and can be customised with a choice between seven types of noodles. you can increase the heat from level one to seven. my favourite choice will be do dee pla-sen. (tom yum noodle with fish strips) thenoodleswere actually made out of fish meat, thick strands with a whisper of piscine flavour but not a trace of fishy stink. 🙂moo ping (skewered pork neck) is to die for. it was nicely seasoned, juicy & tender with a beautiful charred flavour. 😋 my other favourites would be goong pair (a tower of crunchy battered deep fried school prawns) and pah tong goh, (fried bread sticks) with pandan custard. the bread sticks were soft & fluffy on the inside without a greasy mouthfeel. 😍

the best thai tom yumnoodlesi’ve had in sydney. i’ve been coming here regularly for 3 years whenever i have the craving. the place is very busy and cramped, not the best comfort but the ambience adds to the experience. unfortunately i noticed how the serving has gotten smaller while price went up and service losing its warmth. on a quiet afternoon, i felt the difference in attitude from the waitress when she came to our table and when she went to a table behind ours, a caucasian. i’ve stopped coming here since then, instead i now go to the goulburn st branch because of the friendlier service.

authentic thai food. especially like thenoodleswhich have good flavours, in particular, the noodle soups. the portions come in big and small so you can choose according to your appetite. we normally get a few small portions to share. service is quick and the ambience makes you feel like you  are on holidays!

the place was veryyyyy authentic, not really comfortable to sit but the staff is extremely nice! the food was good, the only thing is it felt extremely overpriced... thenoodlesthat says ‘jumbo’ was actually a normal size bowl, i would say a little smaller even. and the original is is tiny, one bite ofnoodlesthat’s all. it costed $10 and jumbo is priced around $18 mark, it just felt very deceptive. we only tried the noodle dishes so maybe the other items are bigger portioned.

do dee is probably most known for its spicynoodlesand man are they spicy 🥵 thenoodlesrange from 0-7 levels of spiciness which you can choose from amongst a range of other thai dishes. i ordered two small bowls (one level 1 spice and one level 3 spice) and found the level 1 spice to be pleasant to eat where i could enjoy and taste all the flavours. the level 3 spice on the other hand was a good level of spicy for me during the initial bites (i like to think i’m quite good with spice) but towards the end i was struggling and my stomach did not feel good after. also ordered a side of pork skewers to accompany thenoodlesand would highly recommend this side - the pork was so tender and j00c3y 🤩🤩

love their rice soup & boatnoodles😍

tbh, i find that this place is so asian bcs of the small portion, unlike other restaurants in sydney.
great pandan dipping sauce with fried bread (or they have soft bread option).

impressed with the valuable and delicious meals at do dee bondi junction, we visited their city brand near uts library. the dining atmosphere here is definitely an upgrade from the food court experience in bondi, but on the other side, the price and serving aren't that exciting. for example, the do dee tomyum noodles, from $5.90 for mini in bondi, here it's $7.50. for bigger serving, $10.50 goes up to $14.  the jumbonoodlessize served here got me confused for the mini in bondi, i almost asked the waitress if she got the right one but then i looked at their sample bowls on the counter. i mean, fair enough, it has to be more expensive considering their location, but why would they cut the serving size too? oh, and for dinner, one person has to order more than $7.50 value of the meal.  it was alright to me, not in a hurry to come back.

so my friend told me this restaurant is really amazing,

she brought me here, she is from thailand. and the food is amazing. thenoodlesat first had a funny fishy taste but once i mixed it up it was amazing.

thenoodleswas thai spicy it had chucks of pork that was meant to be soft bone but there was hard bone in there to. but over all it was amazing 😉

we also had egg wrapped in some pastry and fried. it was amazing the egg inside was so soft. it’s a busy restaurant and highly recommend it!
