the best and most authentic thai noodles in sydney..... seriously good noodle shop....very authentic thai flavour - must add chilli, vinegar, fish sauce and sugar to taste...very very good!
if going with friends the jumbo size tomyumcan feed 3-4 people and includes a mixture of seafood (prawn/calamari/etc.) and pork (balls/sausage/soft bone/etc.).....very good value.....

it's been a few times that i've come here, everything is reasonably priced and affordable! as they are famous for its tomyumnoodles and it's spicy levels, i've orders level 3 today and deep fried wonton pad thai. the soup has great sweet sour heat that gets so addictive, for the wontons i've tried to get out of my comfort zone but in my opinion the original is better to soak up the good pad thai sauce and the the texture of the noodles instead of crunchy wontons that doesn't absorb flavor of the dish.

definitely the one of the best places for authentic thai street food in sydney! the specialty is definitely the noodles soups (with bases like tomyumetc) but if you are a rice person then there's definitely something for you as well! very recommended!

felt like spicy food so thought i’d give this place a try. i think the only great thing about this place is the tomyumnoodle soups. everything else was pretty mediocre - better off going to holy basil! got the seafood tomyumwith glass noodles at level 7 spicy. this was pretty good! great hit of spice and had a nice sourness to the broth. my partner did not like the pork sausages. these had way too much lemon grass in them. everything else was pretty standard, nothing to highlight. only thing i did notice was how quickly all the food came out. makes me suspect that everything was prepared beforehand though. will only come back here for their spicy tomyumnoodle soups. great hole in the wall for the noodle soups. abit on the pricey side though for a “small” bowl. the “jumbo” size is actually just a standard bowl of noodles.

a popular thai eatery, always busy buzzing to deliver good food & service. 🙂their signature tomyumnoodle with a sweetly porky, hot & sour broth hit with spoonfuls of fried garlic and topped with crispy wonton strips. there are variety of toppings from seafood to soft pork bone and can be customised with a choice between seven types of noodles. you can increase the heat from level one to seven. my favourite choice will be do dee pla-sen. (tomyumnoodle with fish strips) the noodles were actually made out of fish meat, thick strands with a whisper of piscine flavour but not a trace of fishy stink. 🙂moo ping (skewered pork neck) is to die for. it was nicely seasoned, juicy & tender with a beautiful charred flavour. 😋 my other favourites would be goong pair (a tower of crunchy battered deep fried school prawns) and pah tong goh, (fried bread sticks) with pandan custard. the bread sticks were soft & fluffy on the inside without a greasy mouthfeel. 😍

my boyfriend and i have been there many times cuz it does make really tasty tomyumsoup. but this time we didn't have a pleasant experience. we went there during lunchtime and ordered four serves of small size soup and one crispy pork belly with rice. after i finished my lunch, i went to the bathroom for touch-ups. and after i went out, i found a staff standing right outside of the bathroom. i thought she was waiting to use the toilet. but she wasn't. she simply came in and flushed the toilet and left. what did that mean??? seriously, it's insulting. i'm a regular customer and recommend it to many of my friends. but this was a really unpleasant lunch. i've kept thinking what that staff meant.

glad that they have small and jumbo portion, it means i can order what i want without bursting my tummy and wallet! hehe... so i ordered their do dee m 16 and soft boil rice with fish, i'm a happy kid!...i like the soft boil rice with fish more, because the soup was clearer while the the tomyumsoup was thicker and full of flavor so it was kind of overwhelming to me. *i know i'm weird*

the best thai tomyumnoodles i’ve had in sydney. i’ve been coming here regularly for 3 years whenever i have the craving. the place is very busy and cramped, not the best comfort but the ambience adds to the experience. unfortunately i noticed how the serving has gotten smaller while price went up and service losing its warmth. on a quiet afternoon, i felt the difference in attitude from the waitress when she came to our table and when she went to a table behind ours, a caucasian. i’ve stopped coming here since then, instead i now go to the goulburn st branch because of the friendlier service.

i just finished work and so lazy to cook. my husband loved pork skewer (mu phing). we decide go to one of thai restaurant nearby from our place because we do not want to go far place when is raining like today.
i have ordered several food:

kaew tod: this one is called keaw tod, the fried snack made from wonton pastry. inside always be pork , sausage or small egg. however, this restaurant only offer inside small eggs. when you eat with sweet chilli will be well combined.

kaew tod
2. moo ping: it is thai-style grilled pork on a skewer that is marinated in pounded coriander roots, peppers and garlics together and is then grilled over a charcoal bb and normally moo ping is served with sticky rice and nam chim chaeo. nam chim chaeo is a spicy sauce which complements grilled meat. you will be loved it.
moo ping
3.fish ball bomb and mixed ball: they are made with fish paste and boiled in a soupy broth, or deep fried. we have ordered fried fish ball and steam fish ball with sweet chilli.
fish ball bombmixed ball
4. doo dee noodle soup: there is several type of noodle soup at this lrestaurant u can choose from non spicy to monster which is really spicy. the soup base is tomyumsoup and we have ordered two type of noodle soup and one is seafood noodle and the other is doo dee m16 and super mama ( seafood). the soup taste will tasty either one but depend on the people preference. i loved pork and fish ball soup rather than seafood. the reason is doo dee m16 giving more strong flavour.
doo dee m16do dee island
5. the last ordered is fried fish and it is called miang pla and it means “wrapped fish”. where is fish eat with rice noodle and wrap with some vegie such as lettuce, basil, coriander and sauce. the sauce is sweet dipping is combined between peanut and tamarind plus palm sugar. the price is reasonable and we take set menu either you can choose normal rice or sticky rice plus one drink.
miang pla
we enjoyed our lunch and feel so full. the atmosphere the place is not bad but normally, we need to have bigger sitting place with our order

this wasn’t the first that i went to this shop, several times in fact.
love the options that if you like chilli, you can decided the level of spiciness.
level 2 is makes me sweat on taking on tomyumon glass noodle boat soup!
cheap, affordable and tasty food, love it!

love the menu number 4, tomyumnoodle with pork ribs. i ordered with spicy level of 2 and wow ..... i think i need to go down level to level 1 for next time. the soup full of flavour but not enough soup, i think. if they give more soup, i will give 5 stars.

their so called "jumbo" size noodle soups are smaller than the average size bowls that you get anywhere else. i could never justify paying 13 dollars for something that tastes less than average just as much as its size. i ordered a do dee tomyumwith noodles and it tastes nothing like tom yum. i always order tomyumeverytime i go to a thai restaurant but it doesn't take an expert to know that it doesnt taste like it.
the service was also bad as the waitress never smiled, and even after nodding and making eye contact at us to take our order, she waited two other customers that came in after us. very poor customer service.
