rude and overpriced. but trendy!. i don't get it…?? antico'spizzawas hardly the bestpizzaever. it would have been ok but the grease running down my hand changed my mind. not to mention it was way overpriced. you can't make any changes to the menu and there is no room to sit. the staff was so rude it blew my mind. how can you be so nasty and still work in a service industry? i tried antico'spizzabecause everyone is talking about it but i will never go there again. if you want to be trendy go antico…..if you want good service with your over pricedpizza…….don't.

tiger fish. i went with a friend after a meeting, because of all the hype and had the worstpizzai have ever had. we couldn't believe why everyone thought it was so good. it was doughy and literally soup for sauce, that ran out all over the place. i have had the real thing in italy many times, and in many places. this didn't even come close. the people, who rave about this place either have never had the real thing or are easily duped by the hype. i will never go again, much less recommend it to anyone.

it's a cool place, not that fancy, but who cares when you taste the bestpizzain town! the dough and the combination of flavors is really good. you won't get bored since you will be able to watch the chefs doing their magic.

fantastic! one of atlanta's best. the place is a little house turned into a restaurant and you get to sit with in the same area where the cooks are. the big ceramic ovens add a lot of european flare to the amostphere. thepizzacooks extremely fast at 900 degrees. the place is small which is ok during weekdays but i can imagine in weekends it must be hard to find a seat. thepizzais out of this world and the cannolis are also superb. the place is just plain fun!. a couple of minor drawbacks. the pies are expensive compared to chain pizzas, come in only one size, and you can't pick the ingredients but the different combination of pies should have something for everyone. also the cute italian brunnete that took our orders is nice if you engage her in some conversation. go and check this place out. you'll love this pizza!

underwhelmed. firstly, the marinara was very tasty. i also like the big blobs of melted mozzarella on top.

unfortunately, the crispy charred crust they advertised was charred, but far from crispy. the edges were nice and crunchy, but they rest of tehe crust was greasy and soggy. the texture combined with bitter charred residue on the bottom made for an unpleasant slice of pizza.

there are very few toppings to choose from either. substitutions are not allowed, and neither is ordering ingredients on only half. you either have to take one of their few setpizzacombinations as is, or order a la carte - which is pricey.

thepizzawasn't terrible, just disappointing - especially after i'd heard such good things.

we recently visited anticopizzaafter a suggestion from a friend of ours. while it is located in western atlanta near other restaurant hot spots, it is somewhat off the beaten path giving it a hole-in-the-wall, down-home feel from the outside. the menu is strictlypizzabut not your stereotypical american varieties. their pizzas are all unique but delicious. our pizza, topped with mushrooms and artichokes, was out of this world. no alcohol is served, but it is byob, so i recommend stopping by the grocery store and picking up your favorite brew beforehand. you can watch from your rudimentary wooden table and seats as yourpizzamade, but make no mistake, this is not a dirty, low-classpizzajoint. it has a great atmosphere complimented by classy italian music. the service was fast, polite, and seemed to really enjoy their work. i recommend getting there early as they close when they run out of dough. overall, we were extremely satisfied with our experience and will definitely be returning.

favoritepizzaever. this was the bestpizzai've ever had, hands down. the crust and sauce were both amazing. my friend and i had the diavaola, and one pie was more than enough for both of us (3 people could enjoy 2-3 slices each). the flavors here taste so fresh and like nothing i've ever had on any pizza. and, it was on our table within 5 minutes at 12:30 on a weekday. the pistachio dessert i had wasn't that exciting, but that was the only low point of the meal. can't wait to go back and try the others.

calling antico the bestpizzai’ve ever had is dubious, but it’s certainly the best i’ve had in atlanta.

over the last two years, antico has been named the “best pizza” in atlanta. that doesn’t even begin to do it justice. in september of 2010, at the internationalpizzaawards (festa del pizza) in naples, antico was named as the best uspizzain the contest. that’s getting close to how good it is.

the secret's been out for some time about the west side's antico pizza. nonetheless, it has taken a few months for lindsey and me to get over there and see how antico compares to other top players on atlanta'spizzascene, such as varasano's and fritti .
