chiken livers on open face !!!!!. i love this dish and the fresh catch of the day was awesome!!! thewaitstaff is professional and well educated to what the menu contains and always there to accommodate the customers. the head waitress or manager is so superbly energetic and proactive!!! on a scale of one to ten,......i will give her and the staff a 12!!!!

i’m not sure why they have less than 4 stars. they had the best food our entire trip. reservations are highly recommended. i can see why you could have a longwaitas it is a very popular place. the staff was very nice and accommodating. the manager stopped each time we ate here and talked to us. again make those reservations and don’t wait.

extremely horrible customer service - from the server to the manager to the owner. i would wholeheartedly recommend staying away. the food was cold, thewaittime long, and staff was not only unmotivated but overtly mean despite us being polite.

great low country dinner. had towaitover an hour but was worth every minute. the food is fabulous. came here hoping we would get some authentic southern comfort food. we were not disappointed. we recommend this place to everyone. the executive chef came out to see if we liked the food and michele was a super server.

16 year old scheduling....?. been a few times now and the food is great, however the two 16yr girls that are scheduling should be fired. one night we were told a two hourwaitand the place was dead, so my wife and i went to a bar nearby. when we returned place was still dead, even through dinner the restaurant was pretty empty to include the enclosed patio. i'm on the fence if i want to spend money on a dinning experience where i'm pissed the whole night. save your money plenty of other places....!

we have eaten here for dinner, but this was our first time for breakfast. we did not think to try it, because there is a place almost next door know for their breakfast on the island. well, really glad we did since this was even better than the other place. i got the lowcountry rancheros, and my wife for the crab cake eggs benedict. both were phenomenal. can'twaitto go back and try more!

lowcountry shrimp and grits with fried pickles and jalepenos. absolutely the best shrimp and grits i have had and my first time having fried pickles and jalepenos which were amazing!
ended up adding the fried pickles and jalepenos to the shrimp and grits which were excellent!

we had towait30 minutes to get seated but i am sure it's because we went on a saturday night and it is obviously a popular place to eat.
once we were seated, the service was excellent and the food was even better!
we got the fried oyster rockefeller for an appetizer and the grilled mahi fish tacos with collards (that had a slight sweet taste to them) and stone ground grits with a tomato bacon gravy on top.
i highly suggest you stop in for dinner if you are ever in the area!

used to be a fave. was so excited to come back to acme - was a huge fan of their chips and salsa, wings, good food at good prices - now they've gotten snobby - not the good ol hole on the wall they once were. i used to recommend them, but i'm taking them off my list. they've gone high brow and give me a break , they're still a bar!!!! they were understaffed and bartender, hostess, and servers gawked when we wanted to sit at the empty bar where there was no bartender - nowhere else to sit - empty tables to sit folks yet a 45 minwait- get over yourselves!!!

delicious. we had a wonderful dinner and fabulous brunch during our quick long weekend getaway. the grilled ceasar, and wreckfish with succotash specials made one of my favorite meals ever. and the gouda grits were great! fresh seafood omelets after too much sun and celebration were also perfect. very friendly and competentwaitstaff, visit from chef during dinner topped off the experience.

great. thewaitstaff was great. very nice. the atmosphere was pretty chill. we ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers which were good, a tad on the spicy side for some people.
the entrees were the crab cakes and mahi mahi burrito. the food we got was amazing. no complaints in that department. for 4 beers, an app, two entrees we spent about 70 bucks or so including tip. not sure if the meal was necassarily worth that, but it's isle of palms and we kinda just chucked it up to that.
