i know we are the land offriedokra andfriedgreen tomatoes....but you must come here! the okra was served with a squash puree and a homemade blueberry jam, made a tad more savory by adding some onion (i want his recipe). for entrees i had the panfriedgrouper, which was so very delicious. my husband had the blackened black drum, sadly, over cooked and tough - but, because everything else was so, so delicious we did not let it color our opinion. plus, my grouper piece was very large, he was happy to share. the green field beans were perfectly done. the sides were a tad too heavy on salt for mine and our companions taste buds - but again, we will come back!! we had out of town guests and courtney was so polite and patient with the wine selection for one of our guests. she was helpful with sides and both her, the restaurant and more importantly the chef were very good about sides and accommodating different taste buds! gosh, i am ready for that meal again today!!!!
