won't go back. some co-workers and i went for lunch last week and omg i wish we hadn't. first of all it took almost 20 min to get drinks on the deck. i think the gal who was serving us forgot about us. when we finally got our food, my mahi tacos were cold and my friend jim's burger wasn't cooked right. the guacamole was ok, though, but that was about it. also, the place is filthy.

went there with girlfriends. margaritas were good, so were chicken wings. it's a dive but enjoyed it enough. service was a bit unfriendly at first but waitress got better at the end. we were there as kitchen closed, restaurant wasn't closed, but they started washing floors around us and it smelled awful! i want to try it again - but i wouldn't take kids there, though i saw a few there with families.

awful!. where do i begin?! my party of three arrived for lunch on a weekday around 1 and after standing in the hallway for about 2 minutes finally a random server noticed us and told us it would be about a 5 minute wait. no problem! so we sat... and sat... and sat. finally another random lady came and asked if we had been helped. she sat us at an available table where we continued the long process of waiting. and believe me nothing was worth the wait. awful food... had the steak fajitas and it was like rubber. asked for more chips, was told they were in the fryer and they would be out asap... never arrived. servers seemed like they didn't even want to be there. never had my drink refilled. will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

this place was definitely a dive, a decent one. the service was slightly unfriendly and they all seemed preoccupied. however the food was great! good calamari, fried shrimp, quesadillas, and baja chicken salad. strange place with great food

great beach dining!. drove by acme a few times before looking up some reviews and deciding to go try it out. it doesn't look like much on the outside, but what a great place to eat! not a beach shack, but not claiming to be anything fancy. friendly staff and good prices. we started with some of their famous buffalo wings and i had shrimp tacos, both were delicious. my mom had the sirloin steak and it was probably one of the best steaks i've ever tasted for $16.99!! we don't have much longer in our vacation, but i'd love to go back!

breakfast was pretty good, and definitely very filling. it was a bit heavy, but i ordered biscuits and gravy... besides an additional biscuit, the one thing i would have like to have seen is a couple over easy eggs over the top. i really like the way that a yolk adds that nice creaminess to everything (even though gravy by it's nature should be creamy). for a fallback, emergency breakfast, it was definitely pretty good. i don't know if it was the real "southern" breakfast i have concocted in my mind, but worth a trip out if you find yourself on sullivan island or isles of palms.

not again. the breakfast burrito was amazingly bad. you wouldn't think it possible to screw up something so simple, but acme did. everything inside the burrito was mashed up, as if they'd thrown eggs, chorizo and peppers into a blender and poured that into a tortilla.

and we really hated to disturb the host from reading the morning newspaper with our patronage. guess what, buddy? we won't bother you ever again, so you can keep reading that paper!
