views amazing. ambience beautiful. food good and presented well. service very poor. on a recent visit for a friend's birthday, we were treated poorly by our server, the manager, and the staff. my friend asked if the bathroom was around the corner of a hall she was walking down. the reply from a staff member, 'not since i've been working here'. our party sat in the lounge area since we were told reservations couldn't be made. the hovering manager pushed us out of a view area, then proceeded to mark certain areas of the lounge reserved without any explanation to us. over two hours, noone ever showed up and the tables we could have used were just sitting there with the reserved signs on them. our server though dressed very nicely was the biggest disappointment of all. she rolled her eyes more than a couple of times and her tone was more than rushed. it seemed as though she could have used an assistant server for our party. maybe that's not her fault, but the management's. one would think we would be treated better with over a $1200 tab. as a business owner, i am extremely disappointed.

8 top great time. on monday night nov. 5th we were a group of 4 couples, and from the moment we walked off the elevator we were treated like royalty.
i have to say the staff was especially patient with us, as we took over 30 min. just looking over the amazing wine list and debating which wines to have with each course. we all did the basic 4 course meal though almost no two people ordered the same thing. this was great so we could see many of the diff. dishes from staters to soups/salads, entrees, and amazing deserts. of course it became a tasting party as everyone wanted to try everything.
everything was delicious, beautiful, perfect temp. and texture.
then there is the restaurant itself, absolutely nothing like anywhere in okla. even before you look out the windows, and see the incredible views of okc.
prices, were very much inline with other local establishments, that are not nearly as good as vast.
one of our most memorable and enjoyable dining experiences ever.
can"t wait to go back agin.

dining on top of the world. incredible dining experience.
unbelievable view from every seat in the restaurant.
wonderful cuisine, amazing wine list, beautiful environment.
the service was excellent, everyone so polite, new the menu, great time.
the wine steward really paired wines perfectly with each course.
can't wait to go back.
best thing to happen to okc in fine dining.

my husband and i went recently and we fell in love with the view (only). if you don't know fine dining, you'll enjoy the visit and the (red lobster/ chilis) service. however, for those of us who truly enjoy the beauty of a fine dining experience, this was below expectations. i would rate the food 5 out of 10, if the price was 15% lower then maybe 7 out of 10. service, 4 out of 10 & that's being nice. service needs to be polished. no knowledge, presence, personality etc...speaking (to other servers) louder than the guest? no sense of direction at the time if expediting, not clearing empty wine glasses..unfortunately, i could go on about the poor service but the point being.. little things like the above mentioned is what makes an experience memorable (or not). we plan on going back in a few months in hopes of a better experience.

great view, great service. won't be returning for the menu. the options we chose were the shrimp with grits which was good, but be prepared as you better love onions. the smokiness was nice in contrast to the sweet onions, bit the chives in addition were just overwhelming. my colleagues both had chicken with butter beans. both decided that it was pretty, but bland and they wouldn't order it again. the additional salad ordered was arugula, which was fine, but again not worth ordering again. deserts were small portion options that they brought from the buffet. nice ending, but not rememberable.

nice view. nice view, cool building, yummy food, great service. however, the prices are very high, and the portions are very small - i was still hungry after i got home. i got a nice size piece of pheasant, but only a tablespoon of beets and pears. the chocolate lava cake was amazing! i spent $175 for 2 people, and only had 1 glass of wine. atmosphere was very sterile - no music. a jazz trio would be nice.

great view, the food needs some work. found the dining experience somewhat underwhelming. my salmon was ok, not great. the lamb was lamb shanks and was not identified as such in the menu. the scallops were overlooked. i understand with it just opening there will be a maturation period. i will be back to give it another try in a few months. our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, the water glasses were kept full, but he never repoured our wine when the glasses were low. small thing but nonetheless something you expect from upscale fine dining. drinks at the bar were excellent and with good service. i was surprised at the rather small bar area. with the wonderful view i would think this would be a great go to spot for drinks after work or just anytime.

really enjoyable. i went for a business lunch with my bosses and a special guest. we were greeted by a very beautiful hostess (it certainly can't hurt business) who was friendly and showed us to our table. we were seated at one of the larger booths and it was incredibly comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. our waiter was prompt and effective without hovering too much and allowed us to have our conversations without constantly butting in as you so often find with lower end restaurants.

they offer a lunch menu and they also have a small buffet available. the offerings on today's buffet were thanksgiving feast inspired and included turkey, salmon, an anduoille sausage stuffing, their take on green bean casserole, a fresh spinach salad with a variety of topping to choose from, cranberry gastrique, candied sweet potatoes, and a few other things. they also offered a variety of petite desserts. it all looked delicious but i opted for the cajun shrimp and grits.

my grits were cheesy without being stringy, creamy while still having texture (not the least bit mealy as so often happens with grits) and perfectly seasoned. you could taste each cheese - the sharpness of the cheddar and the smokiness of the gouda. the red onion marmalade in the middle really hit the perfect note between sweet and savory and added a nice complexity to the shrimp and grits.

it's worth a visit if for nothing other than the view. it is incredible and the decor is understated elegance without snobbery. i quite enjoyed the experience and i can't wait to go back for dinner.

okc's first major leage city restaurant. have no doubt, vast is where thunder players will be spotted as the season gets underway. the menu is unlike anything in oklahoma city - great tastes with ingredients, recipes not usually seen locally. the decor is on par with some of the finest restaurants found in nyc, chicago, miami and los angeles. any waits, service quirks are likely to be found with first week of any hot new restaurant.

beautiful view, but wait a while, it may get better. good view, but wouldn't go for the food. interesting menu, but ....... just not hitting the mark. and the service tried hard, but...... but we waited over 30 min just for coffee! might try again in a few months, or just try the bar next time we are downtown.
