my husband decided to bring me here for my birthday then to a thunder game. they refused to let us in the door because of my attire apparently. everything was fine with what i was wearing (according to the hostess) but the thunder heels i was wearing made me look like my husband was paying hourly for me & that's not what they want at their establishment. we were more than happy to go to fuzzys that night. don't waste your time going here!

we celebrated our 25th there. i'm gluten-free. the waitress was very knowledgeable about what i could have on the menu. they generously made a dessert for us that was gluten-free by the chef!!! it was a wonderful experience and breathtaking view and excellent staff. teresa was our waitress and she took great care of us!!

fun place for lunch. i have frequented this establishment numerous times for lunch. the "daily table" is always fun. you will get to try things you wouldn't normally order. the menu changes daily and it all depends on what they get in fresh that day.not a bad price and it includes a drink. i've had varied service experiences, but for the most part it's been acceptable. briana (sp?) is my favorite. she knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. she offers great service. i have learned to ask for her section! i haven't tried it for dinner, but the food sounds amazing! be sure and adhere to the dress code ;) it is an upscale restaurant!

my husband took me here for our anniversary. i was taken back by the secrecy to get to the restaurant as well as the view. the food was good, but our waiter just about ruined the night. we had a beautiful secluded spot to ourselves. somehow our waited forgot about, didn't receive bread after he said he was bringing it, got our dinner five minutes after our appetizers, and we sat after our meal for a half hour before anyone came to see if we needed anything. the cherry on top was they automatically tack on the tip to your bill without informing you. save your money and have dinner elsewhere.

vastly over-rated!. ate lunch yesterday with another couple. the service was poor; our waiter did not ask if we wanted drinks. the buffet was just okay. while the view was awesome, it did not make up for the poor service and the price. we were instructed on our way out that devon is no longer validating parking...one more reason while we will not be back. sorely disappointed!

excellent service (eric), but could be perceived as too many interruptions with manager visit 3x, waiter assistant x4, waiter a lot but he was appropriate, informative and brief to our liking. food was good but not "wow" which one would expect at this elevation and price, especially from a company that advertises wealth, prestige and power. decor resembles diner with placemats, tables and chairs that do not fit the giant beautiful modern building. they could put flint up there and have more success. something different....

go somewhere else. there are better places for fine dining in the city than this place. we were disappointed at how bland the food was. on top of that, the service was terrible. although our meal went smoothly without any problems or conplaints, our waiter - dennis - had an attitude and was simply unprofessional, offensive, and rude. i felt extremely uncomfortable leaving a tip. we will not be coming back. do yourself a favor and don't waste your evening here. we felt deceived by the hype and taken advantage of. i would recommend having dinner somewhere else and then coming here for drinks / dessert from their bar if you are interested in the view. but beware. fine dining? lies.

reserve your high expectations for the view.. we were with a group in a reserved room. the leafy salad starter was floating on an inescapable pool of what might have been a good creamy dressing had it not been sickly sweet. my salmon was perfect, but the potato and leek lay on top of another inescapable, sickly puddle of "cider gastrique". the dessert was a chocolatey looking puck that didn't taste much of chocolate. couldn't even give away my portion.

the view is beautiful, of course, but i was disppointed in the food. patrons having to wonder about who they had to call to get an ice water refill on a very hot day is one of those little things that makes otherwise decent service seem stingy.

the design is beautiful. the view is beautiful. even the cutlery is beautiful. i love experimental fare, but i'll have to work up quite an appetite for that view before i go again.

forget anything you've ever read about this place. the view is unimaginably beautiful. the wait staff goes above and beyond and the food... the food is amazing. nothing comes close to describing how good this food is

wonderful meal and service. we enjoyed an anniversary dinner at vast and it was fabulous. service was outstanding and the food was delicious. we were quite pleased with a couple of appetizers that were new to our tastebuds and enjoyed entrees of pork and salmon with very succulent flavors. we highly recommend vast for a special 'night on the town'!

vastly disappointing. seriously: this is not worth the time, effort or expense.
buffet at lunch: tired. opted to order from the menu, instead. after reviewing the menu, i had to track down a waiter (which is sad, since we were the only other table there at 1:00 pm on a thursday) - who was chatting it up with a group of waiters - my waiter was not among the gang. i asked (my new waiter) what he recommended - their version of shrimp and grits (which is pictured here on the website and does not remotely resemble what i was served). i ordered it; after waiting an inordinately long period of time, i was served. half way through picking my way through it, my original waiter showed up and quipped that he'd forgotten about me and did i want to order? the only saving grace of this ordeal was an enthusiastic server who told us about all of the desserts - what they were and how they were made. of course we knew what everything was (there's nothing you haven't seen before unless your palate is limited to fast food) but we were delighted with her enthusiasm and obvious knowledge of her offerings - a far cry from the affected buffoonery we suffered through from the moment we walked in the door. shame on vast for thinking the people of oklahoma city would be deceived to such a spectacular degree.

everything was really great. having read so many mixed reviews, i did not have my hopes too high for my first experience at vast. but my wife and i absolutely loved it.
we wre greeted prompty and all people we encountered were gracious and pleasant. we started off with the quail and the duck confit for starters. both were amazing, but the quail stole the show. the quail was perfectly cooked and seasoned, placed over a bed of whipped sweet potatoes with balsalmic. the sweet potato/balsalmic mix was very different and delish! i agree with reviews i have read that the starter portions are almost comically small. they are very much on the small size, but worth the price for someting so unique.
my wife had the sweet potato calm chowder and i the butterleaf salad. each were very different and the chowder was amazing-- truly some of the best soup i've had.

for entrees, wife had the filet and i the pork loin. both were very nice sized portions and considering sides came with the entrees vast is actually less expensive than a place like ranch for the dinner course.

we had the dessert special of the evening a choc mousse cake that came with a gelato and fresh berries (it was amazing) along with the petite dessert assortment. the dessert assortment was the one downside to the evening, i did not really care for it. but, my wife liked it okay.

overall the view and experience at vast is worth the money and certainly is placed in the same category as ranch and mahagony in my book for excellent dining experiences in the metro area.
