unimpressed with the trumac dish. i had high hopes for the trumac, the restaurant's signature adult mac and cheese.
the sauce is more cheese than cream and butternut which combined with the vat of melted cheese on top tastes more like noodles and melted cheese than a flavorful sauce.
service was okay, not bad but not the-above-average-service competing restaurants offer.
they do have a signature dish avocadosalad(chopped avocado chunks with tomato and pita bread) which my sister likes.
ambiance is dark wood and darkly lit, but does have patio seating.

naked avocadosaladis a must! we always order it as an appetizer for the table with pita bread. the bolognese is delicious and the diablo pizza as well!

great food, great drinks, and great service! what more could you ask for? i love to get the salmon caesarsalador the trumac. seriously, so good!!

amazing food & service!!!. this is one of the best restaurants in frisco, texas. remember to make a reservation as they are very busy, especially on saturday nights. i made a reservation for four at 6:30 pm on this saturday night. they were already crowded when we arrived, but we did not have to wait. my daughter split a large panzerella and a steak with vegetables. i ordered the large avocadosaladthat had feta cheese, tomatoes and was accompanied by pita bread. we also had hummus with vegetables and pita bread for an appetizer. my husband ordered the burger with garlic fries. everything was delicious and our service was superb. i can't wait to go back and try their pizza. they have a very nice patio, but on this night it was too cold. i will definitely go back for a return visit.

menu offers nothing out of norm. had a ceasedsaladwaiter said was the best-not. won't return.

excellent meal. we have now been to trufire on 3 seperate occasions and had a wonderful experience each time. the pizza is excellent on their home made thin crusts and the turkey burger is very tasty. the figsaladand the sweet potato fries are my favorite side items. their drinks are good but a little pricey for the size in my opinion. overall it has become one of our favorite places to grab dinner. friday and saturday night are very busy so consider a reservation.

we went to trufire with some friends from out of town and couldn't have picked a better place! the food was delicious and priced well for the generous portions. the pecan and figsaladreally is as tasty as they claim and the pizza could feed two to three people! definitely a great place to try in frisco.

love trufire! the chickpea soup and the texas pecan & figsaladare a fav. also the blackberry smash it a very refreshing light drink that i have to have every time i go. tomato & basil pasta is also delish!

right down the street....!!. great food! great patio!! try the pearsalador the sea bass!
